My wife and I enjoyed our 4 night stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin was a perfect place to escape our day to day routines. While we did visit a few of the local areas of interest, including the Flight 93 Memorial and some wineries, we also enjoyed staying in to play some Yahtzee with a nice fire burning in the fireplace. I hiked a few of the short paths in the nearby woods and could hear wild turkeys nearby. On Thanksgiving morning, we saw 19 turkeys stroll by the cabin, the following morning only 15 came by LOL. Communication with Lynne and Patrick were great and the cabin was exactly as it’s pictured online. The cabin was also clean and comfortable. Lots of amenities were available including the firewood, supplies to make s’mores and there was even a pair of binoculars on the window sill. We made pretty much all of our meals there in the cabin which is something we enjoy doing, the cookware was adequate but could use a bit of a refresh. The only other thing I would add to the cabin would be a pair of fire tongs to the fireplace tools. Sometimes it was a challenge to reposition or add a log while the fire was burning. We truly enjoyed our stay, it was a great getaway and we hope to rebook in the future. Thank you guys for sharing your place with us.
