Everything you needed was there. Very clean. Views from wrap around porch were fantastic. Loved sitting out on the porch in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely stay again!

We were very satisfied with our stay at the house. There was great snow all around the house so we actually stayed-in about 3 days of the 7 days we were there. Perfect place for us to sled and tube right at the property. The foyer/mudroom area was perfect for hanging our snow clothes and lining up our snow boots. The downstairs gameroom was awesome for the kids. The dining table was large and the bench seating is perfect for large families. We had game night almost every night so the large table was perfect for all of us. The kitchen was well laid out. There's a ton of dishes and utensils for your large group. If there was anything I probably had to say was a little frustrating was the drive up the mountain. I'm from Texas so the slick roads were a little intimidating. We had to put chains on our tires every time we went up the mountain and then back off when we came down. Renting an AWD vehicle would've been like 3 times the cost & that's with my family discount at Enterprise. Next time, it may be worth it to spend the money. Despite that little issue, our stay was AWESOME! Oh, and communication with Philip was perfect!!

Great time at a beautiful property. Very spacious with open floor plan and tall ceilings. Loved having 3 bathrooms. Showers had good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. The view is second to none from the huge deck. We came in at night, there was a dense fog, and there is no wifi in that area. We got lost and it was stressful. We called Phil from a nearby town (nearby town had wifi thank God), he answered at midnight and got us to the property. We plan on renting next year and will make sure flight arrives in the afternoon.

This property’s views are stunning! The host Phil was so friendly and responsive. He even changed out a shower head that wasn’t working properly. The house had everything we needed and was such a comfortable place to call home for a week!

The view from Grandview Lodge is that of sitting on top of the world. It is a quiet oasis or serenity and tranquility. Quietude. The set up was perfect for our family group: three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and kitchenware renters could want. Only thing we didn't find was a fly swatter. We day tripped all but one day. The location is quite remote, but that was in the description. The mountain roads were old hat to the locals, but much more cautionary for us. We enjoyed exploring Nederland, Golden, and Georgetown. We really enjoyed the amazing grocery store in Nederland and frequented the local restaurants. Philip, our host, was easy to communicate with and always responded immediately; thank you Philip! Highlight of the setting: viewing a huge moose amble by along the driveway one morning. Amazing!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. What really stood out, though, was the host—he went above and beyond to help our group when we got stuck in the snow. He was incredibly responsive, communicative, and shared lots of helpful information for our stay. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend staying here!

The house was perfect. Clean, organized and just as advertised. I got lost getting to the house but I think it was just me. The view is amazing. Stargazing at its best! Phil was very accessible and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very nice and very scenic. It was kept very clean. The location was great, it wasn't too far from Estes Park, Loveland, Colorado Springs. It was very quiet and peaceful. During our week there, we saw only one person around the property walking their dog. The solitude was great. I hope to return during May of 2024.

Infested with roaches and gnats. Smelled musty. Went to open the basement windows to air the place out and they were covered with spider webs and bugs. Garage smelled like a dumpster. Driveway was a lake for the entire week, but I've got a jeep so np. Weeds growing up through the front entryway steps. 12 ethernet jacks in the master bedroom. WTH? Large wraparound deck but no outdoor table and minimal outdoor seating. No backsplash on the kitchen countertops. Yes, I made the mistake of looking in the gaps between the countertop and the wall - eck. Motorcycle traffic roaring up the canyon all weekend and rock music echoing out of the surrounding homes (bar?) on the hillside. Bathroom sink didn't drain, and the fridge died on day two. The owner did fix those issues but admitted the fridge was on the fritz to begin with. Would have been nice to have known that before I stocked it with a couple hundred bucks worth of food and lost some of it. When my teen girls found out they had to sleep in the weird basement bedroom they looked at me like Kevin in Home Alone when Mrs. McCallister sent him up to the attic to sleep. Still haven't heard the end of it from them. We were quite disappointed that other reviewers didn't mention these things.

The cabin was very nice with a beautiful view. The beds could have been more comfortable and I would have liked better pillows but overall, we were very happy with the place.

We had a lovely time. As per what every guest stated- the view was breathtaking! Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable. Phillip was very receptive to answering questions and very timely in getting back to me. He provided lots of helpful information about things to do in the area.

When my teen girls found out they had to sleep in the weird basement bedroom they looked at me like Kevin in Home Alone when Mrs. McCallister sent him up to the attic to sleep. Still haven't heard the end of it from them. We were quite disappointed that other reviewers didn't mention these things.
Infested with roaches and gnats. Smelled musty. Went to open the basement windows to air the place out and they were covered with spider webs and bugs. Garage smelled like a dumpster. Driveway was a lake for the entire week, but I've got a jeep so np. Weeds growing up through the front entryway steps. 12 ethernet jacks in the master bedroom. WTH? Large wraparound deck but no outdoor table and minimal outdoor seating. No backsplash on the kitchen countertops. Yes, I made the mistake of looking in the gaps between the countertop and the wall - eck. Motorcycle traffic roaring up the canyon all weekend and rock music echoing out of the surrounding homes (bar?) on the hillside. Bathroom sink didn't drain, and the fridge died on day two. The owner did fix those issues but admitted the fridge was on the fritz to begin with. Would have been nice to have known that before I stocked it with a couple hundred bucks worth of food and lost some of it. Property is exactly as described!Our host, Phil, was promptly available and helpful. All the amenities mentioned are accurate!We have stayed in the Nederland area for four years in a row now, and this house is my favorite! Clean, comfortable and very close to SO much beauty in all directions!We will stay again!

The view from Grandview Lodge is that of sitting on top of the world. It is a quiet oasis or serenity and tranquility. Quietude. The set up was perfect for our family group: three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and kitchenware renters could want. Only thing we didn't find was a fly swatter. We day tripped all but one day. The location is quite remote, but that was in the description. The mountain roads were old hat to the locals, but much more cautionary for us. We enjoyed exploring Nederland, Golden, and Georgetown. We really enjoyed the amazing grocery store in Nederland and frequented the local restaurants. Philip, our host, was easy to communicate with and always responded immediately; thank you Philip! Highlight of the setting: viewing a huge moose amble by along the driveway one morning. Amazing!

We had a lovely time. As per what every guest stated- the view was breathtaking! Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable. Phillip was very receptive to answering questions and very timely in getting back to me. He provided lots of helpful information about things to do in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. What really stood out, though, was the host—he went above and beyond to help our group when we got stuck in the snow. He was incredibly responsive, communicative, and shared lots of helpful information for our stay. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend staying here!

If looking for views plus a quiet place to stay where you can still have access to both mountain and city, this is the place! My family went to Denver, Golden, Boulder, Rocky Mountain National park, Nederland, plus other areas to hike on the front range mountains, and all places were easily accessible from this house! You can't beat the pictures we took of the higher mountains within view from the deck of the house, and the owner was great in answering all questions before and during our stay. I'd definitely stay at this house again and wish we were able to stay longer during this vacation! To the owner thanks again for all your help!

What a great home to gather our family from Michigan, Denver, and Fort Collins. We enjoyed game time, home cooked meals, and skiing at Eldora. The house was a cozy, comfortable stay.

Great time at a beautiful property. Very spacious with open floor plan and tall ceilings. Loved having 3 bathrooms. Showers had good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. The view is second to none from the huge deck. We came in at night, there was a dense fog, and there is no wifi in that area. We got lost and it was stressful. We called Phil from a nearby town (nearby town had wifi thank God), he answered at midnight and got us to the property. We plan on renting next year and will make sure flight arrives in the afternoon.

The property was very nice and very scenic. It was kept very clean. The location was great, it wasn't too far from Estes Park, Loveland, Colorado Springs. It was very quiet and peaceful. During our week there, we saw only one person around the property walking their dog. The solitude was great. I hope to return during May of 2024.

The view...the view...wow! Worth the extra drive and was amazing. Host was helpful in recommending local places to eat, things to do and amenities. The house is clean and open the windows and enjoy the mountain air. One of our families new favorite places to stay in Colorado!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful lodge. Windows are all around in the common area and master bedroom and bathroom. Views of snow capped peaks are absolutely stunning and photos do not do it justice. Well positioned for easy hiking access with numerous trails all around as well as easy trips into Boulder and Golden. Everything we needed or could have wanted was available in the lodge. The beds were super comfortable, linens were very nice and soft. Phil was the best host I’ve had for any VBRO. He was very responsive, checked in but was in no way intrusive, helpful and if I had a question he was very prompt. Would 1000/10 recommend. We cannot wait to go back!
