Diamond Lake Waterfront Cabin w/ Deck + Dock!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage over the week of the 4th of July. The cottage is pristine. The cottage is so well equipped with everything that you need. The owners are very generous allowing the use of the kayaks and peddle boat. The cottage is so very cute with just the perfect touches in decor. There are community cupboards for folks to share items which was very nice. We had a minor issue after checking out and the owners were gracious and kind in assisting. The location on the lake is perfect - we will be back!!

We had a great week at Diamond Lake! This cabin was very clean and well stocked with all the kitchen necessities. It fit our group of 10 great! Plenty of games and movies for the kids. We enjoyed our days out by the lake swimming, fishing and using the provided kayaks/paddleboards. The lake is small and quiet with beautiful views from the deck. The cabin is so cozy with plenty of space to have a relaxing vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at Diamond North. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun vacation. We brought our paddle boards but it’s nice that they have kayaks as well so we could all paddle together. The balcony overlooking Diamond lake is a great place to unwind and watch the beautiful sunset. We were also so excited to see an eagle from the balcony. If you want to go to a bigger town for Walmart etc, Cadillac is just several minutes drive away. If you just want to go for a day trip, Ludington is just an hour away. My favorite part is paddling early in the morning around the lake. It was very peaceful and relaxing. And lastly, Carey the host was very responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.

This property is everything they advertise it to be, and more! I generally try not to "bother" the hosts unless something is amiss, but HAD to send a note the very first morning when I discovered a French Press Coffee Maker in the cabinet. I was so pleased! Usually, there is something that has been made to seem more impressive, large or upgraded than it really is. This place was the opposite. So many wonderful things in addition to what was advertised. The rooms were spacious, the dining area, living spaces and kitchen were great. And little touches ... the drinks refridgerator in the front, the extras in the cabinet for medicines, sun lotions, sewing supplies, crafts, games, movies ... Wonderful! So many little extras. The outside activities ... kayaks, private dock, rowboat, campfire, lake access ... EXACTLY as promised and pictured! We could NOT have been more pleased with our stay. The hosts were interactive and quick to respond to my silly little updates, seeming to really be pleased and invested in us having a great time. The neighbors were also great ... they even did a great little fireworks in the yard. And the fireworks on the lake were amazing. But don't get any ideas and try to steal this place from us on future July 4th weeks .. we definitely plan to be booking for many years to come. Thank you so much for making your home our home! Cherry on top ... my 4 year old grandson IMMEDIATELY fell in love with kayaking, and they even had one for him!

The place was immaculate, the beds were comfortable. the kitchen was well stocked (add some of Carey's spice blend to your coffee, yum!) and the views of Diamond Lake were stunning. From the host communications to the amenities to the décor, the hosts thought of everything to make our weekend comfortable and memorable! Just 15 minutes south of Cadillac, this cottage is in a great location. We did some wine tasting, bar hopping and had some great food. Oh don't forget to Check out Yoder's of Tustin, their sandwiches are amazing! The cottage came equipped with a boat and kayaks that we were able to enjoy on Diamond Lake and a firepit overlooking the lake. Lots of memories were made that weekend! We'll be back, again! Thanks for a wonderful relaxing weekend!!

What a GREAT family getaway! We had our kids and grandchildren come for a visit to spend family time together and the cabin was amazing! We enjoyed a fishing competition, relaxing by the lakeside bonfire, kayaking, swimming, playing volleyball in water and spending quality time outside! The grandkids loved seeing all of the wildlife; a loon, a bald eagle, turtles, & several fish varieties too! (Bass, bluegill, crappy, catfish, sunfish, perch)We have been here before and we were so glad to come back again! We really enjoyed our time here and hope to make it an annual event! When my grandson left he asked who owned this place because it was better than Disney! 🤣 He said he had the best day ever!

Great weekend at Diamond North! Needed a weekend getaway, and this was just the place. Got to enjoy an unexpected, but much welcomed winter wonderland - huge snow flakes coming in across Diamond Lake with a warm pellet stove heating the cabin... an indescribable experience!! And of course, March-Madness on the flat screen TV! It was very nice to be able to switch to the guest Netflix account after the games were over too! Tons of Kitchen utensils available for use! Took a quick trip to the Village Market in LeRoy (short 7 minute drive!) to grab a few forgotten ingredients, and was able to prepare a delicious breakfast! Looking forward to booking again during the warmer months to enjoy the lake and fire pit! Very clean. Very fresh. Very outstanding!

This cottage is fantastic. When you walk in, everything is in the right spot and looks amazing. It has a warm cozy feel, and it was just that, when we came off the ice from fishing. It had everything we needed to get us through the weekend. The view was amazing. If we weren't fishing, we were looking onto the lake through the large windows to check on our friends. Bedding and room accommodations worked out great for us. The double bathroom and showers were a plus too. A big thing for us, was the parking. We had numerous trucks that we had to get parked and it wasn't a problem for us. Take a look through the pictures. It's not something that is just buttered up for photos. What we saw in the photos is what we got. We were highly satisfied and already booking our trip again for next year! Thank You, We had a blast.

We really enjoyed our family weekend at the cabin. It was so cute, cozy, homey. The lake was gorgeous with such peaceful views! The kids loved the water and had a blast! Everything was so well thought out there, all of the amenities, the kitchen supplies, the community cupboard as well as the beverage fridge! We loved it all and are hoping to make it an annual thing!

This place was wonderful. The layout, views and rustic feeling made this our best trip so far. The large dining table was great for meals snacks gathering and could comfortably accommodate two euchre games at once. There was a place for everyone. Whether you were sitting at the large table, on the couches near the window overlooking the lake chatting or hanging out in the living room on the large wraparound watching the game. There was a place for everyone. Alot of time spent in the mornings looking over the lake with a cup of coffee anticipating the good bite and where we were going to find it on this beautiful lake. The deck, yard and easy access to the lake made this very easy for getting on and off the lake with our equipment. Nearly the entire lake can be seen from the house and I imagine the views are great no matter what season along with it being a great place for bonfires kayaking or swimming. We are booked again for Ice Fish 2024 and can't wait to see what next year holds. Everyone had a great time. Great job on the design and accomodations here. Loved it!

Entry instructions were easy and hassle free which I appreciate so much! Cabin was gorgeous. Great view with lots of space for socializing. Pellet stove was so amazing. Warmed up the cabin instantly and was easy to use. Home was very clean, organized and decorated perfectly. Thank you for letting us stay!

What a wonderful stay in such a beautiful cabin! There was plenty of space, a gorgeous view, and it was so clean! The owners were fabulous with answering any questions we had. Such a great way to spend Mother’s Day! It was absolutely amazing!

The cabin was very clean, in a great location, and was the first rental l have been to that has been so completely furnished in the kitchen and bathrooms. I would not hesitate to book the cabin again.

We enjoyed peace and quiet during our midweek getaway! It is a darling cottage on a beautiful lake. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine lakefront. The view is stunning! So peaceful here! The cottage is very clean and updated as well! We highly recommend this cabin! We had a great time at Diamond North and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. As the previous owner I was excited to see all the improvements that the new owners made. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to feel at home. I can’t wait to book another visit in the future.

This location was the perfect winter getaway. All of the amenities at Diamond Lake Cabin were so accommodating & thoughtful. It had a spacious living area to relax & unwind. I really enjoyed the bedding, beds & pillows. So super comfy & provided restful nights sleeps. Even though the temps outside were in the single digits (& negative temps at night!), the warmth & coziness inside cabin is just what our Michigan souls needed this time of year. I look forward to booking again in the upcoming seasons.

We had a good time and Carey was very helpful and easy to reach. The cottage was clean and ready to check in 1 hour before our check in time, which was nice!! The set up was not exactly what we were looking for and a few of the bedrooms were pretty small, but we made it work! The upstairs bedrooms did not have doors, just walls separating the 2 rooms, which was hard to tell from the pictures. One bedroom has a portable air conditioner and we were able to keep the upstairs pretty cool using that and the fans. The extra refrigerator in the entryway was nice and the kitchen had everything we needed! The yard was big enough to play games and there was a nice sandy area in the water by the dock for the kids to swim. Overall, it was a nice vacation.

Everything was great. We were 7 adults and all were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and the living room had plenty of seats.The deck provided great views of lake especially with the fall colors.

Place was AMAZING!! Conveniently located to Caberfae. Was perfect for two families of 4 with extra room for other guests if needed. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would like to make a return trip in the summer as it has a great view of Diamond Lake. Would highly recommend!!

Where to begin it was a rainy weekend, but our group still had a blast. The pictures don’t do it justice. Decor was cute and the kitchen was well stocked. The rooms were all bigger than we expected. It was also nice having two full bathrooms, most cottages we’ve rented only have had one. Towels were super plushy. The two open living areas were great to create a spot for the kids to hang out and adults to enjoy a beverage or two while enjoying the gorgeous view of the water. Super close to 31, so everyone found it easily. Yoders (Amish Market) was right down the road and full of yummy treats and sandwiches. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

A lovely experience. The cabin is so comfortable and spacious. We had 8 in our party and it was nice to feel like we weren’t on top of each other. The lake and the yard are fantastic and the owner supplies many toys to choose from to enjoy the lake, including a fire pit for evening sunsets.Carey, the host and owner is an absolute gem. Excellent communication. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we look forward to going back next year.

We rented here as our yearly family vacation. We were very pleased with the house. We had a couple situations where we needed to reach out to the owners and they immediately responded and took care of our needs. We highly recommend and have extended family looking to book here for their future vacations!

We had a really great stay. Had trouble with getting in because electronic lock failed but we were able to get around it.

The pictures of this beautiful cabin did not do it justice, it was just gorgeous and very relaxing. Fantastic views of diamond lake from the porch and living room. There were seven of us and there was plenty of room and everything we could want was provided for. We had hours of fun using the paddleboards, paddleboat and row boat. Lots of fishing for our grandchildren and adults alike. The owners answered all our questions immediately and there was a lot of information provided regarding what to do in the area. We would highly recommend this amazing cabin to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature.

The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The house is incredible! We had a family ski weekend at Caberfae Peaks and it was perfect. The house is very well maintained and they had more supplies than I've ever seen at a VRBO. Highly recommend this house!

We had a great winter ski weekend at Diamond North! Very close to Cadillac and Caberfae ski and golf resort. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 6 and can easily fit more. The kitchen, bathrooms and accessories were well stocked and we found everything we needed for our getaway weekend. Dining area was great for meals and games. The location has a beautiful view of the lake. All the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Communications with Ryan and Casey were easy and they answered all our questions quickly. Highly recommended!

The view was beautiful, and the house was accomodating with all that we needed (adequate cookware/silverware, etc.). Very relaxing and plenty of room to enjoy the property inside and outdoors. The host is very prompt in responding, available to help answer any questions and kind!

My wife and I had an amazing fall couples weekend with friends at Diamond North! The cottage was clean, neat and had everything needed for a great experience. No better place to experience peak fall colors, feel at home and make wonderful memories. Five stars.

What a great gem! We arrived to a cozy, beautifully styled, comfortable cabin. There was space enough for us to spread out, or congregate together. This cabin is immaculate! The owners paid attention to every detail. We went to Cadillac winery, and had a great meal at The Traveler. Both within 10 minutes. We visited the local Amish store, which was full of delicious baked goods, snacks and etc. We took a nice walk around the lake as well. This is a GREAT girls weekend spot. Will definitely come again.

Enjoyed our wonderful stay! Beautiful view of the lake! Close to Caberfae for skiing! Everything in the cabin is here, everything you could ever think of needing! Enjoyed relaxing by the fire! We though that the cabin was very cozy!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and is on a nice lake and conveniently located for us to drive up to caberfae for skiing, the owners are nice and gracious and made everything easy for us. Would definitely stay again.

This cottage was the perfect get away with my family. It’s a good location right off the highway. On our way in we stopped by the quaint Yoder’s Amish Store for bake goods and treats. Everything was delicious! At the cottage, I was impressed with the open floor plan and cute decor. The owner thought of everything. During the day we used the kayaks and the paddle boat and had a bonfire with a perfect view. We loved the big table which was perfect for all ten of us for meals and playing games. We will be back!

A very relaxing stay in Tustin. We loved the view of the lake right after a fresh snow. The owners were very helpful and communicated swiftly. We love the feel of a log cabin. Diamond North was very tastefully decorated, and very much lives up to the photos. My 10 year old spent nearly a whole day just snuggled up in a giant blanket near the fire and taking in a few movies. "Best day ever" were his words describing his stay. If you’re looking for a quiet place away from all the hubbub to relax, then this is your place. Can\'t wait to come back for some ice fishing or maybe skiing at Caberfae.
