TH3-Updated Apartment Downtown Munising, Walk to Attractions & Lake Superior

Location was perfect…close to the marina and all the restaurants in town. Very spacious and comfortable, and very clean. Only complaint was the temp. When we arrived it was cool (80 degrees outside) and AC was running. But in the evening, it went off, and there is no temp control in the apt so it got hot upstairs. They really need to invest in some sort of temperature control in the unit. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Great place to stay in Munising! Apartment was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. Was here in the Fall to see pictured rocks and it was only a 15-30 min drive to the holes we went on! Would highly recommend.

The layout was a little odd with the bedroom being in the middle of the apartment and having to go through the kitchen and bedroom to get to the bathroom, but I don’t know how they could have done the layout differently. The kitchen table was ridiculously small and basically not usable for any purpose. Overall, was a great location for seeing and doing stuff in the area and able to walk around town. Never found a thermostat where we could have controlled the temp but thankfully, it was comfortable. No outlets in the bathroom was a small inconvenience, and would have liked to have a box of Kleenex provided. Also, one of the ice cube trays in the freezer was awful to try to get cubes out of! All in all, it was perfect for us! Would recommend to others.

Overall this property is fine. It is one of three in the building. There were some issues however with our stay, for instance, the bathroom door latch decoupled fron the bathroom door knob preventing me from exiting the bathroom. Additionally the floor of the kitchen and bathroom is not level. There is a hole in the kitchen floor. Some of these issues did detract from my wife's and my enjoyment of our stay. Overall I didn't think the rental rate was appropriate for the property's condition or issues. I did not find rhe bed comfortable, my wife did. It is very soft and excruciatingly wobbly and creeky when tossing or turning. That being said it was nice to have a full size refrigerator, stocked dishes, and a tv which I was able to cast my phone to so that we could stream entertainment. Internet was fast enough for both of us to use. My biggest issue is the rental company provides an app to control the thermostat, but the app isn't available on any app store currently. I called the host to adjust the heat (we visited during a 40° rainy week) and had it set. The host was helpful and responsive, but even set to an appropriate temperature, it was super hot as the heat runs constantly to a cooling temperature and then cools constantly. I don't think it would be difficult to just install a thermostat for guests to use in the properties. The cleaning fee is charged despite guests doing a vast majority of the cleaning. We found prior guest trash under the couch. 2 or 3 out of 5.

We loved this place! It was very clean, well stocked, close to the lake with a view of the lake, walking distance to restaurants, gift shops, groceries. We would definitely stay here again! Picture d Rocks Kayak Tours (from the boat) was amazing!

This place was the perfect base for exploring the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We loved the location because after hiking all day, we could walk to restaurants and even the boat tours. The space was perfect to relax in. It was clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive.

The location was fantastic!! Right in town and we walked to anything in town. We only drove when we went to another area. Clean, comfortable and a nice view of the bay. If we ever go back, we'll try to book here again.

Nice clean apartment with a perfect location! Lake Superior was beautiful to see every morning. Walkable to restaurants breweries and shops. My daughter and I loved it. Will be back for sure!

This Munising room suite has several nice things going for it- very convenient location (yet we found it thankfully quiet), cute lounge/tv room as you enter, nice spacious kitchen with everything you need, and good bathroom. The only downside is the bed. It is a "full" size at best which is fine if you're single or a younger couple that tolerates tighter quarters - which we are not. Pictured Rocks is worth a visit and some exploring, great beaches. Cuisine in Munising: lots of pizza and craft beer.

If you’re considering this listing in the hopes of charging your EV after your daily vacation adventures, you may want to look elsewhere. What isn’t mentioned in the description is that this is a paid public charger. That means you’ll have to compete with other Munising visitors. We were able to charge on night 1, but not night 2. It was a real bummer having to plan around this. Aside from that, the bed was squeaky and not at all comfortable. My wife and I both had restless nights. However, the property is very well kept and is in an excellent location for all sorts of fun activities. It’s just disappointing that it didn’t meet our expectations.

The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The small living room area could use an update on the couch (squeaky cushions). We did not get much in the way of communication from the manager other than a confirmation of our reservation and completed payments. I did inquire/email about 2 days before our stay to get more information and was told I would receive an email the night before our arrival date (wish we would have been told this prior). Nice place to stay. Would have given excellent rating if they had turned on the heat, put batteries in the remote and had some sort of cable/Roku. Very quick response by prop mgr even at 10pm.

I was so satisfied with our stay at the Tree house. We were walking distance to many places we wanted to go, without having to worry about parking. The property managers were very punctual in replying to any questions we had. Another nice thing about our stay was the parking pass for the State Parks.

It’s an easy walking distance to the downtown and lakefront. There are so many easy and marvelous hikes to easily access. Having the whole house gave us the gathering spot we wanted, but giving separate units to each lent time for privacy too.

Enjoyed everything about our stay. The only frustrating part was trying to get a hold of any of the contacts provided. The welcome email indicated an app or attached info about accessing the property. When I called the numbers listed, it would go to a voicemail and direct me to call another number. Took several hours to make contact, but luckily, there is a delightful brewery right across the street. Everything in the property was clean, and many minor amenities were available for use.

Perfect place to stay right in the middle of everything. A short walk to the Painted Rocks cruise dock.

We had a great stay! Location was awesome. Entertainment and restaurants were within a block or two. Hiked Pictured Rocks as well as did the Sunset Cruise. We also explored the very upper east UP with waterfalls as well going west to Marquette. Centrally located for day trips. Wonderful accomodations! Thank You!
