This was a perfect place for our annual family Thanksgiving getaway. The cabin is beautiful and super comfortable, with some really nice features like ample natural light and a well-equipped and clean kitchen. We made good use of the fire ring, hot tub, shuffle board, foosball, and board games. Check-in procedure was very easy, and information about the surrounding area was really helpful. We enjoyed an evening walk to the Chevalier Winery, as well as hiking on the property, and a short driving trip to Ash Cave.

This cabin was better than the pictures! It was one of the nicest 3 bedroom cabins we have stayed in Hocking Hills and had everything to make it a fun place to stay! Attractive and spacious inside, hot tub, fire pit, game table, nice kitchen and well equipped. It looks much better on the inside, average looking at it from the outside, but nice surprise on the inside!! Highly recommend it!

It's the perfect place to escape reality for a few days. We appreciated the trails for hiking when we wanted to get outside but did not want to get in the car to go somewhere. The hot tub was one of the best we've experienced in Hocking Hills. It isn't under a roof, which is perfect for experiencing the night sky away from the city's light pollution (take towels for the hot tub). If you need firewood, Altenbrauch Farm is 6 miles away and has the best firewood and starters in their "general store" for the fireplace.

Beautiful property and had a great stay. There were a few wasps inside when we first arrived (no one's fault of course) and the host was super quick and responsive with help. My only suggestion would be to update the day-of info, while there IS a flag pole at the end of the drive, there was no flag as stated (not a big deal, but we drove past the drive at first because we were looking for the flag). Hot tub was a great bonus too!

We enjoyed our extended weekend getaway with our family! Cabin was very clean and spacious. Really enjoyed the games, hot tub and fire pit. Property was beautiful this time of year for hiking. We visited Hocking Hills State Park, Grandma Faye’s, Jim Bo’s bar and grill, and 58 West.

Entire cabin was absolutely, spotlessly clean and beautiful. Central air worked well. Like any house, the second level was warmer but there are ceiling fans AND upright, oscillating fans in all three bedrooms to help with cooling. Nice lighting fixtures and decorative touches throughout. Foosball game and shuffleboard game (with instructions) in living/dining area. Two Spa-like bathrooms with very nice showers upstairs with plenty of towels for our stay, one half bath on the lower level. Kitchen has all dishes, pots, pans, utensils you need to cook and serve just about anything. Hot tub was easy to figure out how to use with instructions provided. We used the fire pit nightly … when fire died down, we had a clear view of the stars. If you hike the property trails very quietly, you have a good chance of seeing deer. Some trails are more difficult than others. Beware of ticks. So very secluded, quiet, and peaceful. Far from most restaurants and stores so bring as much food as you can to keep/prepare at the cabin. We ate at the Hocking Hills Lodge dining room twice – highly recommend, although although a little pricey. The driving in the area is a little rough with lots of narrow, twisting, turning, hilly roads --- take it nice and slow and you’ll be fine. We visited Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave, and the Rock House while we there … all beautiful! Just a great long weekend getaway for our family of four! Kids are college age and they both loved it.

The property was wonderful, we enjoyed the hot tub, shuffleboard and fire pit each day. We've wanted to visit Hocking Hills while out son was at OU and we had a great time. It was a short drive to nearby hikes. We saw 4 turkeys on the property too:)

This was the perfect property for our quiet weekend away from the kids :) it was remote on the huge acreage (beautiful trails on property), but also so close to the Park, Winery, Observatory, etc. Will absolutely recommend and hope to return!

The property is beautiful and just as described. The house was immaculately clean, and the beds were so comfortable!! We loved having access to the property. The hiking and trails were a lot of fun! We’d love to see the trails marked with colors and the amount of time approx. each trail would take as we really enjoyed exploring the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook/bake and every appliance we could think of was there, clean, and in working order. The owners are amazing, and we’re super easy to communicate with. My family loved our trip and we will definitely be back! Beautiful, modern, clean, and comfortable!

The cabin was true to what the pictures showed. It also was so clean and kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend this place. The house is also tucked back into the woods so it was so quiet at night which was perfect.

The cabin was very clean and beautiful. We were a group of four women on a girls trip, and the house fit us well with plenty of space for everyone. We did have a problem with stink bugs in the cabin, but we knew we were in the woods and just made the best of it. Also, we ran out of propane for the grill too. Other than those small inconveniences we were totally satisfied with our stay. Thank you so much for hosting us!

The cabin is cozy, beautiful and very very clean. The host has provided small thoughtful amenities that make you feel comfortable and at home. The only suggestion for improvement is the bed coverings. There were no extra blankets and only a sheet and thin bed cover on the beds. We got cold at night. A thick bed covering and extra blankets would have made for a better sleep. Other than that we had a great experience and would definitely book this cabin again!

The cabin is awesome!!! Plenty of room for 3 ladies. We loved the open floor plan on the main level. From the living area the view to outside is all trees so it looked like we were in a big treehouse. It was very peaceful and the smell and sound of the country was so relaxing. Would recommend this to friends and family. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. Very beautiful cabin inside and out. The long driveway from the road was great. Very secluded. The landmark for the property when arriving was supposed to be an American flag at the end of the drive way. There was no flag, only a pole for a flag which made it difficult to find at first. It should be noted that there is a burial grave on the property right behind the cabin. That was a surprise. Overall we enjoyed our stay. While we wished the hot tub was a little warmer, it definitely served its purpose . The bed was very comfortable now I need to find a bed for my home that is comparable. If you are looking for a secluded clean quiet cabin this is for you. Thank you to the hosts. We would stay again.

We visited Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave, and the Rock House while we there … all beautiful! Just a great long weekend getaway for our family of four! Kids are college age and they both loved it.
Entire cabin was absolutely, spotlessly clean and beautiful. Central air worked well. Like any house, the second level was warmer but there are ceiling fans AND upright, oscillating fans in all three bedrooms to help with cooling. Nice lighting fixtures and decorative touches throughout. Foosball game and shuffleboard game (with instructions) in living/dining area. Two Spa-like bathrooms with very nice showers upstairs with plenty of towels for our stay, one half bath on the lower level. Kitchen has all dishes, pots, pans, utensils you need to cook and serve just about anything. Hot tub was easy to figure out how to use with instructions provided. We used the fire pit nightly … when fire died down, we had a clear view of the stars. If you hike the property trails very quietly, you have a good chance of seeing deer. Some trails are more difficult than others. Beware of ticks. So very secluded, quiet, and peaceful. Far from most restaurants and stores so bring as much food as you can to keep/prepare at the cabin. We ate at the Hocking Hills Lodge dining room twice – highly recommend, although although a little pricey. The driving in the area is a little rough with lots of narrow, twisting, turning, hilly roads --- take it nice and slow and you’ll be fine. We did have a problem with stink bugs in the cabin, but we knew we were in the woods and just made the best of it. Also, we ran out of propane for the grill too. The cabin was absolutely beautiful! It’s so big and spacious. From the fireplace to the hot tub, I would say that it definitely gives a cozy feeling! There are extra throw blankets in the ottomans just in case it gets chilly. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances such as a blender and Keurig to utensils and numerous dishes. There also is a few random spices left in the cupboards for cooking which was a great plus! Additionally, the kitchen could have been stocked a little better in terms of cleaning supplies. I could have used a steel wool to make scrubbing pans a little easier as well as more Clorox wipes. Just a heads up, the upstairs gets hot in temperature, maybe that’s why all the air vents were closed. On the contrary, there are upright fans in each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets! The showers were perfect and felt like rain water hitting your head! Temperature remained constant. Tons of towels for the shower as well as the hot tub. We didn’t mind but merely as a heads up, it’s a little hike to the upstairs. Warning, there were a lot of half alive bee’s as well as stink bugs. So if your not an insect person, stay clear but for us it didn’t “break” the trip but more as a nuisance. Overall, I would definitely rent this VRBO again without hesitation!

This was a perfect place for our annual family Thanksgiving getaway. The cabin is beautiful and super comfortable, with some really nice features like ample natural light and a well-equipped and clean kitchen. We made good use of the fire ring, hot tub, shuffle board, foosball, and board games. Check-in procedure was very easy, and information about the surrounding area was really helpful. We enjoyed an evening walk to the Chevalier Winery, as well as hiking on the property, and a short driving trip to Ash Cave.

The property is beautiful and just as described. The house was immaculately clean, and the beds were so comfortable!! We loved having access to the property. The hiking and trails were a lot of fun! We’d love to see the trails marked with colors and the amount of time approx. each trail would take as we really enjoyed exploring the property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook/bake and every appliance we could think of was there, clean, and in working order. The owners are amazing, and we’re super easy to communicate with. My family loved our trip and we will definitely be back! Beautiful, modern, clean, and comfortable!

Beautiful property and had a great stay. There were a few wasps inside when we first arrived (no one's fault of course) and the host was super quick and responsive with help. My only suggestion would be to update the day-of info, while there IS a flag pole at the end of the drive, there was no flag as stated (not a big deal, but we drove past the drive at first because we were looking for the flag). Hot tub was a great bonus too!

My four daughters and I stayed here for my triplets' 16th birthday celebration. Just a girls weekend and the place was perfect! We enjoyed our stay. Very beautiful cabin inside and out. The long driveway from the road was great. Very secluded. The landmark for the property when arriving was supposed to be an American flag at the end of the drive way. There was no flag, only a pole for a flag which made it difficult to find at first. It should be noted that there is a burial grave on the property right behind the cabin. That was a surprise. Overall we enjoyed our stay. While we wished the hot tub was a little warmer, it definitely served its purpose . The bed was very comfortable now I need to find a bed for my home that is comparable. If you are looking for a secluded clean quiet cabin this is for you. Thank you to the hosts. We would stay again.

It's the perfect place to escape reality for a few days. We appreciated the trails for hiking when we wanted to get outside but did not want to get in the car to go somewhere. The hot tub was one of the best we've experienced in Hocking Hills. It isn't under a roof, which is perfect for experiencing the night sky away from the city's light pollution (take towels for the hot tub). If you need firewood, Altenbrauch Farm is 6 miles away and has the best firewood and starters in their "general store" for the fireplace.
It's the perfect place to escape reality for a few days. We appreciated the trails for hiking when we wanted to get outside but did not want to get in the car to go somewhere. The hot tub was one of the best we've experienced in Hocking Hills. Other than an electrical breaker issue, and slight difficulty trying to find the property at night(The street numbers are even on both sides of the street), the cabin was great! Its a little drive to get back to town, but that is to be expected for the peacefulness. I enjoyed, and will cherish the memories from this short vacation. Thank you!

This cabin was better than the pictures! It was one of the nicest 3 bedroom cabins we have stayed in Hocking Hills and had everything to make it a fun place to stay! We visited Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave, and the Rock House while we there … all beautiful! Just a great long weekend getaway for our family of four! Kids are college age and they both loved it.
Entire cabin was absolutely, spotlessly clean and beautiful. Central air worked well. Like any house, the second level was warmer but there are ceiling fans AND upright, oscillating fans in all three bedrooms to help with cooling. Nice lighting fixtures and decorative touches throughout. Foosball game and shuffleboard game (with instructions) in living/dining area. Two Spa-like bathrooms with very nice showers upstairs with plenty of towels for our stay, one half bath on the lower level. Kitchen has all dishes, pots, pans, utensils you need to cook and serve just about anything. Hot tub was easy to figure out how to use with instructions provided. We used the fire pit nightly … when fire died down, we had a clear view of the stars. If you hike the property trails very quietly, you have a good chance of seeing deer. Some trails are more difficult than others. Beware of ticks. So very secluded, quiet, and peaceful. Far from most restaurants and stores so bring as much food as you can to keep/prepare at the cabin. We ate at the Hocking Hills Lodge dining room twice – highly recommend, although although a little pricey. The driving in the area is a little rough with lots of narrow, twisting, turning, hilly roads --- take it nice and slow and you’ll be fine. The cabin was absolutely beautiful! It’s so big and spacious. From the fireplace to the hot tub, I would say that it definitely gives a cozy feeling! There are extra throw blankets in the ottomans just in case it gets chilly. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances such as a blender and Keurig to utensils and numerous dishes. There also is a few random spices left in the cupboards for cooking which was a great plus! Additionally, the kitchen could have been stocked a little better in terms of cleaning supplies. I could have used a steel wool to make scrubbing pans a little easier as well as more Clorox wipes. Just a heads up, the upstairs gets hot in temperature, maybe that’s why all the air vents were closed. On the contrary, there are upright fans in each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets! The showers were perfect and felt like rain water hitting your head! Temperature remained constant. Tons of towels for the shower as well as the hot tub. We didn’t mind but merely as a heads up, it’s a little hike to the upstairs. Warning, there were a lot of half alive bee’s as well as stink bugs. So if your not an insect person, stay clear but for us it didn’t “break” the trip but more as a nuisance. Overall, I would definitely rent this VRBO again without hesitation!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is very clean and functional. The land is beautiful. We were blessed with snow, so it made the stay extra cozy with the wood fireplace.

The cabin was beautiful and clean. We stayed with our 4 kids ages 3-12 and we loved all of the games, the fire pit, the hot tub, and all of the woods to explore. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was true to what the pictures showed. It also was so clean and kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend this place. The house is also tucked back into the woods so it was so quiet at night which was perfect.

Beautiful property and had a great stay. There were a few wasps inside when we first arrived (no one's fault of course) and the host was super quick and responsive with help. My only suggestion would be to update the day-of info, while there IS a flag pole at the end of the drive, there was no flag as stated (not a big deal, but we drove past the drive at first because we were looking for the flag). Hot tub was a great bonus too!
