Designer 5 Bd Home, Fountain Pool, Spa, Game Patio

Eric is a fantastic host, and the house is a wonderful property! We have stayed here multiple years, and have always thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We would highly recommend the property, and Eric as a host!

The house is located in a prime location, central to most everything north of the airport. Speaking of airport, it's like a 20 min drive and super easy to get to. Lots of places to eat nearby and the Arizona Canal trail is a really short walk from the house. The listing does not include the front of the house so don't let that distract you from opening the door because the listing pictures are just as advertised. The host was very responsive and answered every question in a matter of minutes. The weather during our stay was mild compared to the summer but we still appreciated the AC working great as it did. If I had to mention any down side to this house, it would be the split kitchen (sink/fridge) to the left side and the stove/microwave on the right side of the kitchen. We found that strange but worked with it. The house is also right off Camelback road so the car noise could be loud at times but we barely heard while inside the house. The positives outweighed any negatives in this house and would rent again with such an incredible back yard.

The house was great for a group—we had 8 friends in our late 40s, so having so many beds was great because we all got our own beds! The outdoor space was lovely, so we spent lots of time in the sun and hot tub. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, just know the layout of the kitchen (fridge and sink on one side of the large room, and stove on the other, with the dining table in between) might be frustrating, but you’re on vacation, why are you cooking?? that said, the kitchen had what we needed and we made breakfast and plenty of snacks with no issues. We also liked that we could walk on the canal path, which was really close, and there are some nice food spots within walking distance. Camelback mountain hike (difficult but highly recommended) was a 7 min drive and we went into Scottsdale twice for dinner, which is a short drive or uber away. All in all, a great house for a group trip.
