My wife and I stayed here on a weekend getaway. We loved the cabin! It’s stylish and cozy. We loved the gas fireplace and the kitchen and bathroom are very nicely furnished. The host was outstanding with great communication and suggestions on where to eat, shop, etc. We will be back for another stay!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cabin for our girl's trip. Everything was very clean, and we were impressed by the extras that were provided - hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, shampoo/conditioner, olive oil, salt/pepper in grinders, and a collection of spices. There was an excellent selection of dishes and cookware. This was a rustic, cozy cabin with high end finishes and details. You will not regret staying here!

The location was excellent, very clean. Everything we needed was there in the kitchen. The TV in the bedroom did not work and we could not find local channels on whatever system they were using We enjoyed the porch every morning and evening. The little area of Medows was great. We would definitely stay again.

Overall, great stay!!! Pre-stay communication was spot-on with the info provided. Not that the hosts could do anything about it, but the weather was spectacular. Proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding. The cabin itself is well appointed and cozy. It has a great variety of kitchen ware, I did not need anything extra with a 3 night stay and making all my food there at the cabin. The bed was so comfortable (downstairs) and the tub was a treat. Would 100% stay again

We really enjoyed this cozy cabin. The views were great. The fireplace was perfect for the cold winter weather and the furnishing were very nice and comfortable. If we had known restaurants in the area were closed for the season we would have brought food to cook. The ones that were open were mediocre at best. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook great meals. I would definitely stay there again. With all the cabins in the area it would be a great place for families to gather and have their own space.

The cabin was just as described and pictured. The deck was very nice as well with a fire pit and comfortable furniture. The cabin is situated on a hill with many other cabins surrounding it, but it still has some good views of the mountains. The general area surrounding this cabin is pretty sparse. There are only two restaurants (neither of which I would go back to) in the town and the closest grocery store/Walmart is a 30 minute drive over a windy highway that will be under construction for the next five years. There are a few stores that sell sandwiches and some grocery items though. Another drawback was that I was unable to contact the host prior to our stay to ask about potential changes to our reservations with no answers to several emails sent via the VRBO portal and a phone number with a full mailbox. The host did contact me via email a few days before our reservation with check in instructions and the actual address of the cabin.The email gave a phone number but included explicit instructions that it was only to be used in the event of an emergency. So, if you are looking for a hands off host, this is the place.

When I found this rustic cabin online and read the reviews, I knew my boyfriend and I would love it. It looks exactly like the pictures - very clean, well-appointed, and cozy. We loved relaxing in front of the gas fireplace and I enjoyed a long, luxurious soak in the deep copper bathtub. The cabin is big enough to sleep 5-6 with the king sized bed downstairs and the queen bed and futon upstairs. Meadows of Dan is just minutes away. We loved the town - everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Mabry Mill (the most photographed point of interest on the Blue Ridge Parkway) is just a few minutes away. And if you're a wine lover, Chateau Morisette is a must! We look forward to visiting the area and staying in the cabin again soon. Highly recommend it!

The owners were welcoming and exceptional in their communication, the stay was pleasant. There were a few cleanliness issues: some hairs found on the pillows and questionable vacuuming, as well as a dish we pulled out that had dried up food on it lol. The tv in the bedroom did not work. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the cabin. The location is absolutely beautiful. The cabin itself is in tiptop shape. There’s plenty to do in the area – walks and hikes, souvenir shopping in ‘downtown’ Meadows of Dan, the candy factory, the lovely town of Floyd. A little downtime on the back porch reading was welcome too. Our host was exceptional. Before, during and after don’t provided suggestions, recommendations and assistance. This place, the entire experience, exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this luxury cabin with a copper tub under starry skies.

Everything about the property was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean well maintained and quiet. There are other cabins nearby but we were not there during a busy time and most cabins were not occupied. We would stay here again if back in the area and felt we got good value for the money.

A beautiful relaxing home for a winter respite. The whole house was beautifully furnished. We loved sleeping on a comfortable bed in the loft! Loved the brass tub! I was pleased there were so many essentials that were provided, coffee, sugar, shampoo, hand lotion, hairdryer and so much more. Plus many in nice decanters. The views were gorgeous and the location felt away from the hustle and bustle of life yet close to Meadows of Dan for shopping and eating out. Dylan gave informative information about the area, took care of every question and need. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful home. I would stay their again.

There’s plenty to do in the area – walks and hikes, souvenir shopping in ‘downtown’ Meadows of Dan, the candy factory, the lovely town of Floyd. A little downtime on the back porch reading was welcome too. Our host was exceptional. Before, during and after don’t provided suggestions, recommendations and assistance. This place, the entire experience, exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this luxury cabin with a copper tub under starry skies.

Overall, great stay!!! Pre-stay communication was spot-on with the info provided. Not that the hosts could do anything about it, but the weather was spectacular. Proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding. The cabin itself is well appointed and cozy. The cabin is situated on a hill with many other cabins surrounding it, but it still has some good views of the mountains. The general area surrounding this cabin is pretty sparse. There are only two restaurants (neither of which I would go back to) in the town and the closest grocery store/Walmart is a 30 minute drive over a windy highway that will be under construction for the next five years. There are a few stores that sell sandwiches and some grocery items though. Another drawback was that I was unable to contact the host prior to our stay to ask about potential changes to our reservations with no answers to several emails sent via the VRBO portal and a phone number with a full mailbox. The host did contact me via email a few days before our reservation with check in instructions and the actual address of the cabin.The email gave a phone number but included explicit instructions that it was only to be used in the event of an emergency. A beautiful relaxing home for a winter respite. The whole house was beautifully furnished. We loved sleeping on a comfortable bed in the loft! Loved the brass tub! I was pleased there were so many essentials that were provided, coffee, sugar, shampoo, hand lotion, hairdryer and so much more. Plus many in nice decanters. The views were gorgeous and the location felt away from the hustle and bustle of life yet close to Meadows of Dan for shopping and eating out. Dylan gave informative information about the area, took care of every question and need. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful home. I would stay their again.

If we had known restaurants in the area were closed for the season we would have brought food to cook. The ones that were open were mediocre at best. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook great meals. I would definitely stay there again. With all the cabins in the area it would be a great place for families to gather and have their own space.

There was an excellent selection of dishes and cookware. This was a rustic, cozy cabin with high end finishes and details. You will not regret staying here!

The location was excellent, very clean. Everything we needed was there in the kitchen. The TV in the bedroom did not work and we could not find local channels on whatever system they were using We enjoyed the porch every morning and evening. The little area of Medows was great. We would definitely stay again.

When I found this rustic cabin online and read the reviews, I knew my boyfriend and I would love it. It looks exactly like the pictures - very clean, well-appointed, and cozy. We loved relaxing in front of the gas fireplace and I enjoyed a long, luxurious soak in the deep copper bathtub. The cabin is big enough to sleep 5-6 with the king sized bed downstairs and the queen bed and futon upstairs. Meadows of Dan is just minutes away. We loved the town - everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Mabry Mill (the most photographed point of interest on the Blue Ridge Parkway) is just a few minutes away. And if you're a wine lover, Chateau Morisette is a must! We look forward to visiting the area and staying in the cabin again soon. Highly recommend it!

The cabin is big enough to sleep 5-6 with the king sized bed downstairs and the queen bed and futon upstairs. Meadows of Dan is just minutes away. We loved the town - everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Mabry Mill (the most photographed point of interest on the Blue Ridge Parkway) is just a few minutes away. And if you're a wine lover, Chateau Morisette is a must! We look forward to visiting the area and staying in the cabin again soon. Highly recommend it!

The cabin was very well equipped, so clean and right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was equipped with everything and anything we needed or wanted in a beautiful setting. We couldn't have asked for more!

We had a wonderful visit and plan to return! The space was beautiful, clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the porch as Spring was just arriving. The beds were so comfortable, and the large tub was such a luxury. Downtown Floyd was a delight with visits to the general store, hardware store and a wonderful bookstore. Hiking on Buffalo Mountain was also a highlight. Can't wait to better explore area on next visit. All in all, an A stay!

Overall, great stay!!! Pre-stay communication was spot-on with the info provided. Not that the hosts could do anything about it, but the weather was spectacular. Proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding. The cabin itself is well appointed and cozy. It has a great variety of kitchen ware, I did not need anything extra with a 3 night stay and making all my food there at the cabin. The bed was so comfortable (downstairs) and the tub was a treat. Would 100% stay again
