Stayed at this Quality Inn. The lobby was boarded up due to a auto running through the exterior wall into the lobby. Ok, we undrestand. That is rare and could happen to any hotel. But.....The room light switches did not work. Dirty wash clothes left in the shower from previous occupant. Where smoke detector was supposed to be were two wires sticking out of the wall. Looked like someone was living in the room below us. 24/7 front desk hours were advertised and free breakfast. But, we went to check out, there was a sign on the door the lobby didn't open till 7am. Convenient location and price. But, would never receommend staying here.

Pictures online were very deceiving. The front building where all you do is check in looks nice. Once you leave that building to go to your or anyone else’s room, the place is a dive. Very old and not well maintained. Damaged uneven walkways, filthy nasty pool. Sketchy guests. Would never go back.

Great front desk staff and check in was very easy. They unfortunately seem to have a facilities problem. The entire complex smelled like a trash dump, mostly due to an overflowing dumpster and trash receptacles. The downstairs ice machine was out of service and steady pouring water on to the walkway. Overall, not a bad place to stay for construction workers, but I definitely would not stay here with my family. To ownership & management, I recommend the following: 1. Speed bumps: Explore the options of installing on throughout complex, especially adjacent to the front lobby. During our 3 day stay, there were multiple instances where vehicles traveling at excessive speeds put pedestrians at risk. 2. Improve the cleanliness of complex 3. Start breakfast at 6am, people that work for a living start early, most people are already gone by 7am.

The lady at check-in was amazing but the owner should be ashamed to have had 1 person working on a sold-out night. She was trying to do everything with everyone arriving at the same time after the races. She helped with broken TVs, missing remotes, an ignorant client, all with a smile. Certainly the same cannot be said about the morning person who was ignorant and unfriendly. She did not speak, just pointed her finger to the breakfast room without raising her head from her notepad. There was no breakfast available by 8:20am and she didn't care; not even a juice or cold drink in the cooler. Rooms are older and TVs not great, but beds were comfortable and clean. Air conditioner old and noisy. This property does not look like the online photographs. Hotels.com should take new photos to give true representation of property. The pool was also not in use; completely empty. Can't say enough good things about the girl at the desk on check-in, doing what she could to get things right for the hotel guests, but no one should be left to manage a known sold-out property by themselves.

No internet and no help. Need internet to be able to keep in contact with work when travelling. This was not available in the room or at reception. Asked the person to reboot the system to see if this would help and was told that only the manager could do this bit was not available. Therefore had no internet for 2 days (but there is a Starbucks nearby). Asked the person at reception when we arrived to move us to a room on ground floor where we could park outside and move our heavy bags in. There appeared to be plenty of empty rooms at that time (we arrived early in afternoon ) but we were given to a room at the back of the property some distance from the parking area. The whole site needs some TLC - grass overgrown, weeds everywhere, pool uninviting (was it even open?), place needs a good clean. Noisy at night with working guys travelling through making cell phone calls outside our room. Disappointed by our stay as we have stayed here previously and it is in a good location for our family needs.

Dirty room. Laundry out of order and it appeared to be that way for quite away as the sign looked old. Questioned why 4 of us would need more towels then the two provided for a 2 night stay. Room only has 1/2 roll of TP. Hair Dryer does not work. And internet is useless.

I never leave reviews, but all the negative reviews were spot on. It's a shoddy motel. Pulled up, opened my car door, and there were razorblades on the ground. Doors not totally sealed, bugs in the rooms (I counted 5 including one roach running on the bedside table as I was grabbing my stuff to check out), stains on the chairs, AC vent in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been dusted in years, and there were multiple groups of people just oddly hanging outside the rooms and being loud. If there's nothing else available, it's definitely a place with a door, a bed, a toilet, and a shower that's not super expensive. Plenty of stores nearby. If there is anything else available, maybe book there instead.

We arrived at 3 pm to check into our room. The clerk assigned me a room and handed me keys. We got to our room with all of our bags in tow, to open the door and find the room was not cleaned and smelled like cigarettes. We took our bags back to the car, went to the lobby and the lady says," Well I don't have the updated housekeeping list." I told her that was fine I had an event to go to and that I would be back around 8pm. She said she would have a room ready for me. We arrived back at the hotel at about 815pm, she slid keys to me when I walked in and we went to our room she assigned. Again we had all of our bags in tow. We opened the door and it "had been cleaned" however, there were bugs on the walls, stains on the linens, black gunk in the bathroom shower cracks. At this point me and my 2 kids were exhausted and just decided to get in the car and drive back home after leaving that morning at 6am and driving 4 hours to get to Gainesville. I went to the lobby, asked to speak to a manager and the girl up front told me there wasn't a manager on duty. I explained to her that there were bugs, dirty stained linens and NOT ONCE did she apologize or offer to make anything right, This was the worst Hotel experience I have ever encountered.

Needs serious renovation. Bathroom and floor was clean, beds had hair on them and did not feel clean at all. Place is a step above a $40 motel but I paid $350 for 2 nights

The room smelled and was rundown. There was a huge hole cut in the ceiling of the bathroom. There were no plugs in the tub or sink. There was mold all around the tub. The bed felt like the springs were going to pop through. The A/C unit sounded like a freight train every time it kicked on. It was a very unenjoyable stay. A car also drove through their lobby at some point and the staff said they can’t get anyone to come out to fix it so it’s just boarded up with plywood. I don’t recommend staying here

My husband and son stayed for 2 nights having evacuated from hurricane Milton. Old pizza crust found behind chair in room. Toilet seat broken. Son got numerous bites from bugs possibly bedbugs. Would never stay there again.

Rooms were update to an extent but updated poorly. Door to get into room is not sealed. The room was humid even though I had the cold air cranked down. Super dark lighting with cheap poor quality lights. Breakfast was sub-par. The overall stay was fine. But I won't stay there again. Front desk was nice and polite, but that's not exactly hard to do.

From the outside, you think “uh oh” and pray that your room doesn’t smell like decades-old cigarette smoke. But once you step into the lobby, it’s absolutely lovely!! The front desk folks were delightful and thoughtful. The room smelled clean and was decorated beautifully. Plenty of towels, soft pillows, firm mattress, and super cold AC. We won’t hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in town.

This is an older hotel right off the interstate so there was a lot of vehicle traffic noise. Inside our room, the ac was a bit noisy as was the refrigerator. Overall, the room was very clean and we slept well.

Property is conveniently located off the interstate and has many food choices nearby. This property is another older motel they have bought and slapped the Quality Inn name on. The room was fairly clean but was in need of repairs- baseboards were peeling off all around the room and the air conditioning unit was being transitioned to a wall control, but the wall control was touchy and either ran super cold or shut off, there was no “comfortable” temperature it could achieve. Ok for one night but wouldn’t recommend overall

Some hotels have a tendency to set their TVs to that stupid light sensing setting. You turn off the lights and the TV fades to black. Not here. Anyhow, it's a well kept property. I'll keep staying here when I come through.

We booked a 3-day non-refundable stay because we knew we would be in Gainesville for that time. The amenities listed for the room on Expedia’s site listed a microwave which my wife needs. The room did not have a microwave and when we told the manager at the front desk, she said that the type of room we booked does not have a microwave. I showed her what the Expedia page listed and she only answered that the page should not say that. We told her we realize the booking was non-refundable but we wanted to cancel our next two days and get a refund because we booked under false pretenses. A proper business would realize that it is their responsibility to make sure any information represented about their establishment was correct but she could care less and told us we would have to take it up with Expedia. We contacted Expedia and after spending multiple hours back and forth with them and the motel, Expedia finally agreed to credit us $200 for the next two nights and we went somewhere else. I was not planning to leave a review because the motel is not at all worth the price we paid (even if it had a microwave) and I prefer not to leave bad reviews, but today I see that the motel put a $50 incidental charge through on my card. I called to have this charge refunded but the front desk could not help me and said to call back in the morning. This means even more time wasted on a motel that does not know how to properly conduct business. Do not stay here if you can avoid it.

We had to switch rooms 3 times because of cleanliness. However, the gentleman at the front desk was super nice and very accommodating. I do not feel that the property was up to standards with their pricing. Will not return to this property.

I booked my stay on Expedia and paid for it through them. The lady at the front desk was new and not trained well and charged my card again. After bringing it up to the manager they said I couldnt get a refund for 10 business days in a time when I could really use the money. So their lack of competence and lack of training of the new hire costed me access to money I needed for the better part of 2 weeks..

We travel often and extensively and I have NEVER before posted a bad review........... but I feel obligated to warn others with my experience at this specific Quality Inn. Prior to making a reservation I reached to confirm they had queen beds, on the first floor, available at time of my call. They did, I immediately made the reservation. Later I called to alert the front desk that I would be arriving after 3:00 am and would still be in need of the 2 queen beds on 1st floor, and additional roll-away bed. I was assured all would be ready and my arrival noted for other staff to be aware. I arrive at 4:02am and a very nice young man informed me he did not have a room for me. He was sweet, but talked in circles, over and over about getting a different room ready, about other guests, having the room used only briefly.... instead of clarifying quickly he chatted, went back and forth to other rooms to ultimately find a second floor room at the very last and furthest point from the hotel entrance. He told me he gave someone the room but they didn't stay, however he had to change the sheets??? (rented by the hour???)? Also, he could not get the roll away bed upstairs.... that my 16 year old son had to carry it because the staff member had a bad back. My son carried the rolls away bed which consisted of a metal frame, headboard and box spring.... not mattress. The sheets were changed on the beds but the next day, when we took a shower, the towels on the floor turned filthy from t

Arrived at 3:30 after traveling 7 hours with a 5 year old. Not allowed to check in until 4. Asked if we could sit in the breakfast area to wait - told no that it needed to be mopped. Then the clerk’s young daughter came out of the breakfast area with nasty muddy feet. Clerk was very rude.

The lady at check-in was amazing but the owner should be ashamed to have had 1 person working on a sold-out night. She was trying to do everything with everyone arriving at the same time after the races. She helped with broken TVs, missing remotes, an ignorant client, all with a smile. Certainly the same cannot be said about the morning person who was ignorant and unfriendly. She did not speak, just pointed her finger to the breakfast room without raising her head from her notepad. There was no breakfast available by 8:20am and she didn't care; not even a juice or cold drink in the cooler. Rooms are older and TVs not great, but beds were comfortable and clean. Air conditioner old and noisy. This property does not look like the online photographs. Hotels.com should take new photos to give true representation of property. The pool was also not in use; completely empty. Can't say enough good things about the girl at the desk on check-in, doing what she could to get things right for the hotel guests, but no one should be left to manage a known sold-out property by themselves.

No internet and no help. Need internet to be able to keep in contact with work when travelling. This was not available in the room or at reception. Asked the person to reboot the system to see if this would help and was told that only the manager could do this bit was not available. Therefore had no internet for 2 days (but there is a Starbucks nearby). Asked the person at reception when we arrived to move us to a room on ground floor where we could park outside and move our heavy bags in. There appeared to be plenty of empty rooms at that time (we arrived early in afternoon ) but we were given to a room at the back of the property some distance from the parking area. The whole site needs some TLC - grass overgrown, weeds everywhere, pool uninviting (was it even open?), place needs a good clean. Noisy at night with working guys travelling through making cell phone calls outside our room. Disappointed by our stay as we have stayed here previously and it is in a good location for our family needs.

Check in went as usual. Nothing terrible. Our down slide started that night with gunshots being heard in the area. Then Breakfast, or at least the feeble attempt, continued the OMGs. "No egg products due to rising prices" was the rationale. No bagels. No muffins. White bread only. Waffle machine. No cereal. No OJ, only kool aid. Had to ask for a refill of the milk container. No PButter. No Cream Cheese. There was sausage...tiny patties. So a sausage white bread sandwich it was. Then I noticed the lobby. I'm truly hoping that there was major renovation occurring and not a demolition stopped of the interior walls. Exposed insulation. Peeling paint. A light that flickered at an annoying high rate of speed. AND the desk staff sat on the phones. Only the one food area attendant was making any effort at all. All in all, this facility needs to lose its place within Choice Hotels. It is an embarrassment to the chain.

This is the first review I have ever left anywhere. This quality inn was so disappointing. Roaches were in the room, loud music and people hanging outside of their rooms up until midnight. First thing in the morning music blaring out of their cars walls were so thin you can hear the people talking, and five days later, I’ll still don’t have my deposit returned

This is an older hotel right off the interstate so there was a lot of vehicle traffic noise. Inside our room, the ac was a bit noisy as was the refrigerator. Overall, the room was very clean and we slept well.

We booked through Expedia. Hotel had decent reviews and was conveniently located on I-75. When we arrived, there were drug addicts hanging around the parking lot. I did not feel safe staying there with my children, or leaving all of our belongings in our vehicle. We called Expedia to see if we could cancel and get a refund. They attempted to call the hotel and see if they would approve a waiver, as it was a same day cancellation. Quality Inn refused. So my family had to find another hotel at the last minute, and didn’t receive a refund from Quality Inn. We’ve never had a problem with Quality Inn. They are clean, affordable, and perfect for an overnight stay. We have stayed in several Quality Inn locations over the years and this is the first one that hasn’t lived up to expectations.The pictures make it appear like it’s a decent clean hotel. It really is a sketchy motel in a bad area.

This is an unsafe area, there was heavy police presence the morning after our first stay. Several people had been arrested. There are no cameras on the exterior of the property. There was heavy foot traffic late at night up and down the buildings. Do not bring kids into this area. This place needs new management and security asap.

The room smelled like pee when we got in. Next morning we went to eat breakfast and there was no coffee and no batter for the waffles. There was barely anything to eat. We thought maybe the next morning would be better but it was the same situation. It was gradation weekend and we thought we would have a good experience at this hotel but we were very disappointed.

Pool and pool area dirty. Floor in room sticky and dirty. Water in shower lukewarm never hot. Parking was far away from our room. Breakfast was supposed to be included free but when food ran out staff did not restock that or coffee.

Room smelled like mold. The breakfast had limited choices, like only grape jelly, waffle irons not on. Checkin guy was nice, but tvs weren’t working and our room only had one towel. Bed was comfortable.

I was assured all would be ready and my arrival noted for other staff to be aware. I arrive at 4:02am and a very nice young man informed me he did not have a room for me. He was sweet, but talked in circles, over and over about getting a different room ready, about other guests, having the room used only briefly.... instead of clarifying quickly he chatted, went back and forth to other rooms to ultimately find a second floor room at the very last and furthest point from the hotel entrance. He told me he gave someone the room but they didn't stay, however he had to change the sheets??? (rented by the hour???)? Also, he could not get the roll away bed upstairs.... that my 16 year old son had to carry it because the staff member had a bad back. My son carried the rolls away bed which consisted of a metal frame, headboard and box spring.... not mattress. The sheets were changed on the beds but the next day, when we took a shower, the towels on the floor turned filthy from t

The room smelled like pee when we got in. Next morning we went to eat breakfast and there was no coffee and no batter for the waffles. There was barely anything to eat. We thought maybe the next morning would be better but it was the same situation. It was gradation weekend and we thought we would have a good experience at this hotel but we were very disappointed.
