My company, Mettle Events, Inc. are the timers for the Frederick Running Festival, and we like to stay in rentals vs. hotels. The Cabin was perfect! Clean, off-street parking, walkable location to restaurants & breweries, five minutes to our job site (the fairgrounds) and I loved that everything was labeled! the house rules were clear and easy to understand, and the price was right! We will definitely be returning to The Cabin!

Visited MD for a family wedding weekend and this property and location had everything we needed for three generations that stayed together!! Walkable to local restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Uber ride from nearby locations was affordable. Bathrooms were big enough for getting ready. And the kitchen had all that we needed to make meals together! Great response from the host on a couple of quick questions!

The home was very well maintained from all aspects, cleanliness, furnishings, kitchen equipment etc. The location allows for easy walking distance to many dining and casual food establishments. I really appreciated the ease and promptness of communications with the owner when I had any questions. We would certainly use the home again for travel to the area.

This house was exactly as described. We are a group of six women who just want to catch up. The living room space was ideal for this. The location is a very quick walk from the shopping/dining area of Frederick. The kitchen is nicely laid out and bedrooms were comfortable. Also, having parking is a bonus. I would love to return.

Perfect location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. There’s a brew pub on the corner too. The home is clean, quaint, and has a warm welcoming feel to it. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and got to just hang out and enjoy the family room area too. Really positive experience overall.

This cabin was easy to find, with off-street parking, and near the beautiful downtown area. I travelled with individuals with disabilities and found the spacious layout very accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms, common room, kitchen, and bedrooms gave it the cabin vibe, were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was available for any feedback and I would highly recommend this location for families or friends looking to stay in Frederick.

Its a beautifully renovated "cabin", combining the best of modern conveniences with old fashioned charm. Its quite spacious with a large living/dining area and a good sized and well stocked kitchen. the best is the location, close to alll the downstown stores and restaurants but on a quiet street.

This spacious Log Cabin is an incredible & fun renovation in a very convenient location within short walking distance of a great local coffee/bike rental shop, a local brewery/hamburger spot, & within walking/biking distance to downtown Frederick, parks, etc. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances, the bathroom/showers are nice/large, there is lots of storage room/ large closets. I appreciated the adjustable lighting options, the various cable/streaming television options, the comfy blankets, having a dedicated place to work, and most of all having a private parking spot right next to the front door. Danny is a fantastic and very accommodating host. He was extremely helpful during a difficult time. I would highly recommend this property whether you are in Frederick for work or play.

Amazing 1840’s fully-renovated log cabin in downtown Frederick! We loved everything about it. The owner has thought of every last detail you would need for a getaway. The location is within walking distance or a short drive to the best in Frederick, right around the corner from Market Street, full of shops, restaurants & venues. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are all comfortable and the layout works perfectly. The owner is quick to respond and great to deal with. Highly recommend this historic and unique property.

Great place for sisters/cousins to celebrate a 40th bday. Great location - we went hiking nearby and spent the afternoon walking around town. House was clean and spacious for 6 of us and great for our weekend!

This is my go-to place to stay in Frederick, where I visit a sister often. It is a historic cabin beautifully renovated, very comfortable and clean and in a to die for location: right downtown, close to the night life and restaurants of Market Street but just far enough way so that the property itself is quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay at the 1840 log cabin! The home itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and just steps from the main strip—everything was within walking distance. Danny was a fantastic host, super friendly and responsive, and even let us check in early. Highly recommend!

Very nice cabin. Nice size family room/dinette area for everyone to sit while we caught up, watch football games and there are games to play. Unfortunately due to flights being cancelled and delayed did not get to enjoy it as much as we hoped.

We loved our 2 night stay here. The master mattress was so comfortable, and that is coming from two picky adults who typically dislike mattresses when we are traveling. We woke feeling well rested. The master shower had great water pressure (another thing we value when traveling!). It's quite amazing to know it is a 1800s property and imagine the care and detail that went into restoring it to the modern and comfortable place it is today. We would definitely stay again

I’m a frequent visitor to the greater Frederick area meet relatives and friends. This rental was the perfect alternative to the area’s mostly tired and aging hotels. The great location enabled us to get an early walk/run through downtown and Carroll Creek, great food alternatives and a walkable drink at night. Super quiet home with comfortable beds and two separate sleeping areas- just what we needed for 5 adults and 3 separate bedrooms. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t have asked for a better base camp for three lacrosse dads who traveled across the country to watch their daughters play! Cabin is done so well!! Beds were very comfortable and the A/C was amazing! Such a great location in downtown Frederick!!

This is a fantastic VRBO - historic with all modern upgrades. Meticulous and well thought-out design. Danny was responsive and needed help at check in. We cannot wait to stay again when we come back in December and hope this home is available again! Best in Frederick!!!!

The property is as described in the listing, and the location was ideal for the purposes of our trip, which was to visit family for a few days. Convenient to shopping areas, restaurants and grocery stores, including Wegmans. Easy to find, and near to the main roads in Frederick. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you'd need to make a meal. Appliances are all working well. We only used the master bedroom, but the bed was comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the unit, except for sleeping and some relaxation during the day. Given our age (late 60s), our preference would have been for more supportive cushioning in the living room furniture. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the a/c and heat worked well to keep the place comfortable all day. We're used to brighter lighting at home, and some may find it a bit lower than optimal, especially in the kitchen given the lack of larger windows. All in all, it was a good stay and we would not hesitate to return. This spacious Log Cabin is an incredible & fun renovation in a very convenient location within short walking distance of a great local coffee/bike rental shop, a local brewery/hamburger spot, & within walking/biking distance to downtown Frederick, parks, etc. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances, the bathroom/showers are nice/large, there is lots of storage room/ large closets. I appreciated the adjustable lighting options, the various cable/streaming television options, the comfy blankets, having a dedicated place to work, and most of all having a private parking spot right next to the front door. Danny is a fantastic and very accommodating host. He was extremely helpful during a difficult time. I would highly recommend this property whether you are in Frederick for work or play.

Cozy retreat near downtown. Met all our needs for our week long stay. Great location for several day trips we took. The host was helpful and easy to reach with questions. We appreciated the suggestions he gave to make our stay enjoyable!

We loved our stay at the 1840 log cabin! The home itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and just steps from the main strip—everything was within walking distance. Danny was a fantastic host, super friendly and responsive, and even let us check in early. Highly recommend!

Great place for sisters/cousins to celebrate a 40th bday. Great location - we went hiking nearby and spent the afternoon walking around town. House was clean and spacious for 6 of us and great for our weekend!

My company, Mettle Events, Inc. are the timers for the Frederick Running Festival, and we like to stay in rentals vs. hotels. The Cabin was perfect! Clean, off-street parking, walkable location to restaurants & breweries, five minutes to our job site (the fairgrounds) and I loved that everything was labeled! the house rules were clear and easy to understand, and the price was right! We will definitely be returning to The Cabin!

Perfect location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. There’s a brew pub on the corner too. The home is clean, quaint, and has a warm welcoming feel to it. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and got to just hang out and enjoy the family room area too. Really positive experience overall.

This is my go-to place to stay in Frederick, where I visit a sister often. It is a historic cabin beautifully renovated, very comfortable and clean and in a to die for location: right downtown, close to the night life and restaurants of Market Street but just far enough way so that the property itself is quiet and peaceful. Love it!

Its a beautifully renovated "cabin", combining the best of modern conveniences with old fashioned charm. Its quite spacious with a large living/dining area and a good sized and well stocked kitchen. the best is the location, close to alll the downstown stores and restaurants but on a quiet street.

I don’t have enough good things to say about our stay at the cabin. Not only was the house beautiful but Danny was an excellent host. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to friends/family!

Great cabin with everything you could need. Hosts are very responsive and have put a lot of care into this property. This is the second stay for us and it was, again, a great experience. The best brewery and coffee shop in town are within a block and everything else in Frederick is within walking distance.

We loved our 2 night stay here. The master mattress was so comfortable, and that is coming from two picky adults who typically dislike mattresses when we are traveling. We woke feeling well rested. The master shower had great water pressure (another thing we value when traveling!). It's quite amazing to know it is a 1800s property and imagine the care and detail that went into restoring it to the modern and comfortable place it is today. We would definitely stay again
