Updated Cabin Mins from Downtown West Jefferson- Hot Tub, Porches, Dogs OK

Several notable shortcomings:-Two streets with identical names (Hillside) within 1/2 mile of each other. Knowing which one was ours would have been helpful.-No front drapes-leaving a clear view into the living room from outside!! (and neighbors 150 feet away-a dumpy-looking trailer). There are two large glass front doors, each 6ft x 6 ft. There were curtain rods above these doors, but no curtains. We bought shower liners to make do.-Liquid hand soap in the bathroom was about 90% water. -Living room TV hard to figure out-guest book says it's a Vizio TV, but it isn't. We eventually found a Samsung remote in the bedroom that worked-turns out the LR TV is a Samsung. -Crumbs and debris in between LR sofa cushions.-A few minor maintenance issues: bathroom faucet drips, foot switch for trash can in kitchen doesn't work, dish soap bottle in kitchen was empty. (Pods were available for dishwasher)-Trash setup: guest book says you are allowed 1 bag of trash per bedroom. Doesn't matter how long you are staying. If you have more, you have to take it to the county dump. And you have to scan a pass card to get in, and then return the pass to the property's guest book. So you can't just hit it on your way out of town.At these prices, I shouldn't have to take my trash to the dump; and there should be drapes, and actual soap in the containers. PROs: Comfy bed, quiet, good shower, lots of space in master bath. Plenty of towels.

It was absolutely wonderful and out 4.5 pound Teacup Yorkie loved it as well.

Nice cabin, kitchen is well appointed, comfortable bed, nice tv's.Had several deer visit one morning.We would stay here again.

Lovely, comfortable and quiet rental. Great place for a couple who wants a relaxing place to stay yet is conveniently location to many local attractions.
