Mediocre hotel room with cooking facilities in the Grand Lodge. The pool and hot tub are nice but otherwise there are few amenities in the building. It’s a convenient location but not at all scenic. For the money and from the description, I expected a lot more.

Our stay wasn't perfect, but it's still good enough for a 5 star rating. Pros: - The location. It's a 2 minute walk to the main base. They also have a free ski valet (tips encouraged). -The heated indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub were marvelous. You can get into the heated pool inside and swim out to the jacuzzi. You can leave all your stuff inside and avoid the dreaded cold/wet exit from the hot tub. -The place was very clean. -The pull out soft bed is surprisingly comfy. Cons: -Noise. The unit is on the first level right next to a heavily trafficked side entrance. The bedroom is right next to the entry door. It was kind of loud up until around 10 p.m. if you're a light sleeper, you won't love it. -Some of the outlets don't work. -The heating is inconsistent throughout the unit. The living room is around 5-10 degrees warmer than the sleeping area. -The wifi isn't the best. You'll be able to stream a movie but can't overload the system with too many devices.

The Grand Lodge is located very close to the free bus and the slopes! There is free ski valet if you are a guest which was a nice surprise! The unit was pretty good, but there are many improvements that need to be done. Many of the lights didn’t work. Over the bathroom sink, under the microwave and in the main bedroom. The tv only had cable so we couldn’t access any of our streaming services. The only heat was in the living room area so the bathroom and bedroom were cold. The blind next to the bed is broken and lights from passing cars would wake us up. A couple of the electric outlets didn’t work or were so old that they wouldn’t make a connection. There were zero condiments. No salt or pepper or cooking spray. There were no tissues or body lotion. This is a bare bones rental, so bring what you think you’ll need of you plan to cook at all. The bed was pretty comfortable. Bottom line is we won’t be renting here again until they fix the issues I stated above. It’s cheaper to stay at the Grand Lodge with your Epic Pass 20% discount and you get room service!

We got a great deal on this studio at the Grand Lodge. I didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It's almost a one bedroom, but since there's no doorway between spaces, it's considered a studio. It's on the small side, but enough space for a family of 4 (young kids). The bedroom is at the front and the closet and bathroom are between the bedroom area and living room area giving a nice separation. The living room faces the parking lot with a view of mountains opposite of the slopes. There's a table with 2 chairs, good wifi, and each space had a dresser and TV. Yes, you can hear people in the hallway, but just in passing. It didn't bother us at all. We did bring a sound machine, since we always use one, which muffled any sounds. This is a dog friendly unit, and other dogs were in the area, but I'm happy to report there was no sign of dogs having been in the room. The beds were comfy, even the pull out sofa. The host was very responsive to messages and the unit was comfortably stocked. I did think the bedroom area was too dark and I would have liked a designated space for all of our ski stuff (skis are to be valeted out front or at the base of the slopes). But overall, we very much enjoyed our stay! Bring snacks (lodge didn't have any for sale after breakfast) and take a robe and flip flops to wear to/from the pool!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, easy access to the mountain trails and close to town. It was very clean and the pool was very relaxing after a long day on trail. We didn’t have a parking pass in our room when we got there but the host was quick to respond and help us get what we need. We hope to come back again soon.

The unit was what we expected. We just needed somewhere to sleep and get cleaned up for the next day of hiking. The amenities were dirty and in very bad condition. The pool and hot tub were full of bugs. The jets on the hot tub did not work. The property management desk was rude and not helpful. We would not recommend this property and will look for other options for our next trip. Definitely going back to crested butte!

Good location. It was not noisy for us. Convenient to parking. It was nice to have a separate sitting room as I get up early and don't want to wake my husband. Bed was comfortable. Lighting could be improved. Overall a nice affordable stay.

This hotel (it’s just in the Grand Lodge at the base of the resort) is fine. It’s not exciting, but you’re probably picking it because it’s affordable. The room hasn’t been updated in a while, but it does have a Roku with each TV. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. There were some annoying things (locked metal cabinet in the bedroom, belongings left behind in the closet and under the bed, cleaning supplies taking up a lot of the closet, bathroom sink didn’t have soap, freezer was almost completely frosted) that we didn’t love, hence the less than perfect review. For the price in CB though, it’s okay enough.

The reviews are very accurate. Overall the place is a 5/5. We would stay again. The hot tub, location to slopes, bus route and base are all excellent- The freezer in the mini fridge is still frosted Over and the single pan does stick- you will need butter. As people have said the walls are thin so you do hear everyone coming in and out- which if you are a light sleeper could be an issue- otherwise being on the ground floor was perfect for us- The bed is amazing, the couch is super comfortable and the shower is amazing. it comes with all the basics, but nothing too fancy. We will totally stay here again without a doubt when we come back! Thank you for the stay!

Room was pretty clean given that pets can stay there. Did hear other dogs barking, but they seem to quiet down during the night. Would have been nice to have a hot shower. We only had slightly warm, but mostly cold showers.

Great location, CB always is perfect this time of year. Very easy to get to downtown CB or out to the trails. Perfect for 2-3 people. King bed very comfortable. Definitely will be back! No AC…but no mountain town has AC. Perfect temperature at night with fan and windows open

This is a perfect place for a 2 to 3 day getaway. The only thing that was a little frustrating for me was being on the ground floor next to the entrance and exit door. I could hear people coming and going when I was trying to rest.

There were issues with using the TV remote and also with using the hot stove on the countertop. It was also extremely hot in the room so we had to keep all of the fans blowing at high speed constantly, which created so much noise that we could not hear each other. There was a very small window with very little air coming thru it. The curtains were very heavy and we had to keep them closed the entire time that we were in the apt, otherwise the sun made the room unbearable. This room, as well as the rooms surrounding it are short term rentals, which allow dogs. Every room had dogs and there was a bit of barking. The management company is difficult to contact and not very helpful. That being said, I did finally manage to get an early check in, as the usual check in isn’t until 4 o’clock. Room was very nice, clean and spacious, with the exception of no air conditioning, which is listed as one of the amenities. That's the only reason I booked it and needless to say, I was very disappointed when I arrived. I'd suggest removing that from the listing. Other than that, everything was great!

This room/suite was perfect for my husband, son, and myself. It had a king sized bed plus a pull out sofa with a fridge/freeze, microwave, 2 TVs, and great wifi. Will be staying here again in the winter to ski.

The Grand Lodge is located very close to the free bus and the slopes! There is free ski valet if you are a guest which was a nice surprise! The unit was pretty good, but there are many improvements that need to be done. Many of the lights didn’t work. Over the bathroom sink, under the microwave and in the main bedroom. The tv only had cable so we couldn’t access any of our streaming services. The only heat was in the living room area so the bathroom and bedroom were cold. The blind next to the bed is broken and lights from passing cars would wake us up. A couple of the electric outlets didn’t work or were so old that they wouldn’t make a connection. There were zero condiments. No salt or pepper or cooking spray. There were no tissues or body lotion. This is a bare bones rental, so bring what you think you’ll need of you plan to cook at all. We got a great deal on this studio at the Grand Lodge. I didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It's almost a one bedroom, but since there's no doorway between spaces, it's considered a studio. It's on the small side, but enough space for a family of 4 (young kids). The bedroom is at the front and the closet and bathroom are between the bedroom area and living room area giving a nice separation. The living room faces the parking lot with a view of mountains opposite of the slopes. There's a table with 2 chairs, good wifi, and each space had a dresser and TV. Yes, you can hear people in the hallway, but just in passing. It didn't bother us at all. We did bring a sound machine, since we always use one, which muffled any sounds. This is a dog friendly unit, and other dogs were in the area, but I'm happy to report there was no sign of dogs having been in the room. The beds were comfy, even the pull out sofa. The host was very responsive to messages and the unit was comfortably stocked. I did think the bedroom area was too dark and I would have liked a designated space for all of our ski stuff (skis are to be valeted out front or at the base of the slopes). But overall, we very much enjoyed our stay! Bring snacks (lodge didn't have any for sale after breakfast) and take a robe and flip flops to wear to/from the pool!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, easy access to the mountain trails and close to town. It was very clean and the pool was very relaxing after a long day on trail. We didn’t have a parking pass in our room when we got there but the host was quick to respond and help us get what we need. We hope to come back again soon.

The unit was what we expected. We just needed somewhere to sleep and get cleaned up for the next day of hiking. The amenities were dirty and in very bad condition. The pool and hot tub were full of bugs. The jets on the hot tub did not work. The property management desk was rude and not helpful. We would not recommend this property and will look for other options for our next trip. Definitely going back to crested butte!

Great location, CB always is perfect this time of year. Very easy to get to downtown CB or out to the trails. Perfect for 2-3 people. King bed very comfortable. Definitely will be back! No AC…but no mountain town has AC. Perfect temperature at night with fan and windows open

Our stay wasn't perfect, but it's still good enough for a 5 star rating. Pros: - The location. It's a 2 minute walk to the main base. They also have a free ski valet (tips encouraged). -The heated indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub were marvelous. You can get into the heated pool inside and swim out to the jacuzzi. You can leave all your stuff inside and avoid the dreaded cold/wet exit from the hot tub. -The place was very clean. -The pull out soft bed is surprisingly comfy. Cons: -Noise. The unit is on the first level right next to a heavily trafficked side entrance. The bedroom is right next to the entry door. It was kind of loud up until around 10 p.m. if you're a light sleeper, you won't love it. -Some of the outlets don't work. -The heating is inconsistent throughout the unit. This is a perfect place for a 2 to 3 day getaway. The only thing that was a little frustrating for me was being on the ground floor next to the entrance and exit door. I could hear people coming and going when I was trying to rest.
