8 Mi to Okemo Mtn: Charming Ludlow Studio!

I decided to stay a bit out of town for a ski trip....and it was perfect. Just a 10 min ride down the hill to OKEMO and LUDLOW. It is absolutely beautiful and quiet...the sunsets and sunrises are amazing from the top of that hill. It is secluded and you really get a slice of VT. The unit is very large and spacious. It has everything you need for a short stay...for some, not having a microwave is an issue, but not for me. Toaster over, full stove, fridge, electric water kettle, coffee maker, etc. I will emphasize that if visiting in WINTER, you. must have an AW or 4W DRIVE vehicle to get to this Studio....if there is snow of the roads, you will need it.

Place was much bigger than expected, perfect set up for what we needed. Tons of privacy and great communication by the owner.

We loved Dexter's Studio in the woods - it was beautiful, peacefully quiet and just right for the two of us. The cabin is off the grid powered by solar and the host is very thoughtful about composting and being environmentally conscious. The kitchen was just right for the two of us to prepare our meals, the bed was very comfortable and the linens were all lovely. We loved the peace and quiet of the woods and enjoyed the foot of snow we got overnight - which made for a great ski weekend!! The host / Dexter was very thoughtful and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!!

This was an amazing property. My son and I wanted to ski for a few days. This property popped up and it looked perfect. We were goi g to share the bed but the couch was big enough so he slept there. The bathroom is beautiful and large with a huge tub and nice shower. The unit was warm and welcoming when we arrived. In the winter 4 wheel drive is a must. I would recommend arriving during daylight as the roads aren’t paved and it is pitch black. It is very remote so you will want to logo. To Wi-Fi right away. Everything was pristine. No dishwasher which was fine. No toaster so I toasted bread on the burner but that was ok. Bring butter or pan as pans are not non stick. No shoes in the house which meant everything stayed clean and dry. It was about 20 minutes to town and skiing which was fine. It may have been difficult in really bad weather. We loved it. I would definitely go back. The owner were extremely responsive and answered any questions we had.
