The location was great for shopping and dining within St. Armand Circle. The bedrooms were very nice and beds very comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was large and well equipped. A lot of little extras that make a difference like: bathroom amenities including mouthwash, toothbrush and soaps. Anything you would need for the beach including sunscreen. There were plenty of sodas and even beer in the fridge when we arrived as well as a Nespresso machine with pods. There were a few minor things that needed repair like the toilet paper holder and a missing towel holder in the bathroom. The entrance to the apartment is odd in that it’s in the back of an alley by the garbage dumpster with a bit of a rough entrance that includes 2 flights of cement stairs to reach the actual apartment and there is no designated parking. Parking was a bit of an issue as you could park on one street 8pm-8am free of charge and then hourly parking during the day, so it was a bit of a hassle moving the car every 12 hours. It was a fun time and nice stay but next time I would choose convenience and closer proximity to the beach.

We had a wonderful experience at the Beachy Speakeasy. Chad has created a wonderful space in which you can relax, enjoy the shopping nearby and unwind from travel. Thoughtful details abound in the unique space above St. Armand's Circle. The outdoor space is phenomenal. Lido Beach is just a short walk, and all of the tools to enjoy it are right there in the unit: chairs, wagon, umbrella. Sarasota's new trolley service made getting back and forth to downtown a breeze. Chad's communication was clear and we knew exactly what to expect throughout our stay. Would definitely stay there again!

This property met all our expectations for a party of 4. You might hesitate at having to enter the property through an alley but it is very safe and is as good as pictured. The beds in the two bedrooms are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals and the living room is comfortably furnished. The best feature is the rooftop patio area. Great for catching the morning sun and relaxing with cocktails while taking in the evening sound of St. Arrmand Circle. The property owner, Chad, did a great job in communicating with us. Our stay was scheduled just six weeks after Sarasota had taken a direct hit from Hurricane Milton. As he would say, he was very transparent about the damage his property had experienced and the damage to the beaches and businesses in the area. Beaches were open, businesses in the circle are working to fully reopen and his property was in great shape. You would never know the ground floor entrance area had 2 to 3 feet of water just two months earlier. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a unique experience while visiting Sarasota. We are looking forward to a return visit as businesses fully reopen on St. Armand Circle.

The location is great. A few steps out the door and you are on St. Armands circle. The rooftop deck was amazingt for morning breakasft or watching the sunset with evening cocktails. The place was supee clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Chad was awesome and responded quickly and.made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I nad a great time and will definitely stay here again the next time we visit St Armands.

Extremely disturbing VRBO experience! Kitchen and bathroom were extremely outdated with original everything- 70’s cabinets that had a coat of paint as an “update,” 6x6 tile flooring w dark brown grout, and chipped formica countertops. Walls were covered with cracked mirrors and scratched/scuffed up paint, hollow doors had original 70’s hardware, and flooring was aged tile covered with dingy area rugs. The white refrigerator contained old food and condiments. Furniture was likely from a garage sale or Salvation Army. Access to the unit was through a tourist t-shirt shop or back alley lined w dumpsters and garbage cans. The access door had a metal bar gate over it. The musty, concrete stairwell up to the unit was beyond creepy. We felt extremely unsafe! When we contacted the host to let him know we weren’t comfortable staying there, he was extremely defensive and accusatory of our intentions. He sent us off with a “I’m sorry you feel that way” and “safe travels home” as we headed out with a 2 1/2 hour drive ahead of us. Can’t help but think we were victims of a scam.

The location of this unit is amazing—right at the circle with hundreds of shops and lots of restaurants. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach. Owner has bikes, a beach cart, beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella—all great for the stay. He sticks the kitchen and bathroom with anything you could need. All was great! Hoping to come back soon!

I really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for our needs. It was very clean. Well stocked. A lot of effort was put in to make the apartment very comfortable So grateful for the coffee We were able to go back and forth to the beach quite easily the shops and restaurants are around the corner. Hope to stay there again

My wife & I were here in mid February. This place is smack in the middle Armands Circle in St. Armands Key. As you enter St. Armands Key and enter Armands Circle, you can\'t help and feel how wonderful this place is. So many shops and restaurants. People milling about and music played from different areas within the circle. This continues thru the evening. The 2 bedroom apartment is above Salt Life clothing shop. The apartment is entered thru the rear of the building and go upstairs to enter the apartment. This apartment was very clean and different from many VRBO apartments. This apartment also had a rooftop deck sitting area.. This apartment was filled with everything you can think of. Kitchen closet had all sorts of snacks & beverage. The bathroom had plenty of towels, hair dryer. curling iron and toiletries.The apartment had a large cart with beach chairs, umbrella, bikes, roller blades and helmet. The beach is within walking distance 1/4 mile but for older adults a 3 minute car drive.. Don\'t want to forget the washer & dryer. It had everything along with that different feel that makes it unique. The host Chad was most helpful, especially in guiding us to get .to the door. Now the following mentions in no way changes how my wife & I ,feel about this place. Because of the steep steps to get to the apartment, older couples 70 or over will have some trouble going up the steps while carrying their suitcase and keeping their balance. The second is a suggestion to Chad. When first walking into the first door, the floor is all painted grey. It may be worthwhile to paint a 3"yellow border on the edge of the stepdown. I would highly recommend this apartment when visiting St. Armands Key.

This was the perfect spot in St. Armand’s circle, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops plus a very short walk to the beach. The apartment is so cutely decorated and well equipped with all the beach features you need. Miss hanging out in that terrace with my friends, want to make this a yearly tradition.

My wife and I enjoyed our long weekend in this great location. This condo is located on top of a commercial building that is part of the circle that forms the entertainment district. You are literally steps away from any number of great restaurants, bars and shops. We spent a lot of time walking the beach, which stretches for several miles, and is only a couple blocks away. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly and the place as very clean and extremely well appointed. We will be back and will stay here again.

Our family of four had an amazing stay over March break(Parents and a 6 & 8 year old). The location is perfect, 5 mins from the beach and 1 min from St Armand’s circle. The location could not be any more ideal for a family, we dined out at local family restaurants, used the kitchen to cook meals when it was convenient and visited the beach each morning to search for shells. We picked the location randomly and really hit the jack pot. Our host was very responsive and accommodating, particularly with an early check in and had some food supplies to tide us over until we got to a supermarket. Very clean, spacious apartment, comfortable beds, with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Parking was easy(and free) once you follow the directions provided. 10 out of 10 stay.

everything was nice and clean. They left a little card wishing my wife a happy birthday. When they found out we were going over for her birthday they even offered a bottle of wine to help celebrate. We respectfully declined as we are not wine drinkers but we really appreciated the gesture. The speakeasy is very close to all the shops, restaurants and bars. We had a good time and would stay there again.!

The place was spacious and cute with everything we needed (like coffee and plenty of towels!) Loved that we could walk to breakfast and dinner and beach was short walk or drive. Owner instructions and tips were incredibly thorough and helpful. Had an awesome time!

My wife and I enjoyed our long weekend in this great location. This condo is located on top of a commercial building that is part of the circle that forms the entertainment district. You are literally steps away from any number of great restaurants, bars and shops. We spent a lot of time walking the beach, which stretches for several miles, and is only a couple blocks away. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly and the place as very clean and extremely well appointed. We will be back and will stay here again.

Such a cute property. Finally a property description and pictures that match what you get when you arrive! We really enjoyed the location, all the amenities i.e. coffee, charging locations throughout, bathroom extra's, it felt like a hotel! The bedrooms and bathroom were spacious and decorated so nicely. Everything you need is within walking distance. We did not get a chance to spend time on the beach but we noticed beach chairs, wagon and lots of other extras to use at the beach.

Our family of four had an amazing stay over March break(Parents and a 6 & 8 year old). The location is perfect, 5 mins from the beach and 1 min from St Armand’s circle. The location could not be any more ideal for a family, we dined out at local family restaurants, used the kitchen to cook meals when it was convenient and visited the beach each morning to search for shells. We picked the location randomly and really hit the jack pot. Our host was very responsive and accommodating, particularly with an early check in and had some food supplies to tide us over until we got to a supermarket. Very clean, spacious apartment, comfortable beds, with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Parking was easy(and free) once you follow the directions provided. 10 out of 10 stay.

Chad is very quick to communicate and had the house stocked with essentials for the kitchen, bath and the beach. The record player, yoga maps, weights and boxing gloves are a nice touch. The location is excellent - next to all the restaurants/shopping and a short walk to the beach. The place only has one bathroom, but we made it work without a problem.

This was the perfect spot in St. Armand’s circle, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops plus a very short walk to the beach. The apartment is so cutely decorated and well equipped with all the beach features you need. Miss hanging out in that terrace with my friends, want to make this a yearly tradition.

I look forward to my next stay at the beachy speakeasy. I felt very much at home in this cute two bedroom condo with fully stocked kitchen. The host has truly thought of everything, and the details were duly noted! I was especially impressed with the variety of condiments available for my Nespresso latte (e.g raw local honey etc.) I bought a few groceries and was able to cook and eat most of my meals at home because the host has a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans and a variety of appliances like a crock pot, a toaster, a blender, espresso machine, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder and water filter pitcher just to name a few. I felt very at home with these details that I didn't even realize made such a difference until I was away from home!! The bed was really comfortable and it was very quiet which is important to me! Great strong wi-fi and the entire condo is set up with music receivers so that you can listen to music throughout the house and there are phone chargers available in every room. They even have a record player with some old school records if you're feeling nostalgic! I was able to do some yoga out on the rooftop which was really nice on a beautiful day. The host was very helpful when I had a few questions prior to check in, but they also provided ample information, instructions in the "condo manual" so that I could enjoy my privacy during my vacation and didn't need to reach the host again. We had a wonderful experience at the Beachy Speakeasy. Chad has created a wonderful space in which you can relax, enjoy the shopping nearby and unwind from travel. Thoughtful details abound in the unique space above St. Armand's Circle. The outdoor space is phenomenal. Lido Beach is just a short walk, and all of the tools to enjoy it are right there in the unit: chairs, wagon, umbrella. Sarasota's new trolley service made getting back and forth to downtown a breeze. Chad's communication was clear and we knew exactly what to expect throughout our stay. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay at the Speak Easy (so much that we wish we could keep it a secret like a true Speak Easy). We have no doubt that it will soon be booked years in advance. Chad was so easy to communicate with through the entire pre-vacation process and made us feel so comfortable and appreciated as renters. This place is a true gem and we can't wait to stay here again next year. I know we'll have to book early!

The location is great. A few steps out the door and you are on St. Armands circle. The rooftop deck was amazingt for morning breakasft or watching the sunset with evening cocktails. Extremely disturbing VRBO experience! Kitchen and bathroom were extremely outdated with original everything- 70’s cabinets that had a coat of paint as an “update,” 6x6 tile flooring w dark brown grout, and chipped formica countertops. Walls were covered with cracked mirrors and scratched/scuffed up paint, hollow doors had original 70’s hardware, and flooring was aged tile covered with dingy area rugs. The white refrigerator contained old food and condiments. Furniture was likely from a garage sale or Salvation Army. Access to the unit was through a tourist t-shirt shop or back alley lined w dumpsters and garbage cans. The access door had a metal bar gate over it. The musty, concrete stairwell up to the unit was beyond creepy. We felt extremely unsafe! When we contacted the host to let him know we weren’t comfortable staying there, he was extremely defensive and accusatory of our intentions. He sent us off with a “I’m sorry you feel that way” and “safe travels home” as we headed out with a 2 1/2 hour drive ahead of us. Can’t help but think we were victims of a scam.

Myself, husband and 19 year old son enjoyed a 3 night stay . The accommodation was perfect. Location fantastic and all the facilities left to use beach buggy, chairs. Shampoo shower gel. Plenty of fresh towels.All the kitchen equipment and condiments to use was fantastic.. very responsive host answered any questions we had straight away. We would not hesitate to book again.

The location of this unit is amazing—right at the circle with hundreds of shops and lots of restaurants. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach. Owner has bikes, a beach cart, beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella—all great for the stay. He sticks the kitchen and bathroom with anything you could need. All was great! Hoping to come back soon!

I really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for our needs. It was very clean. Well stocked. A lot of effort was put in to make the apartment very comfortable So grateful for the coffee We were able to go back and forth to the beach quite easily the shops and restaurants are around the corner. Hope to stay there again

This was the perfect spot in St. Armand’s circle, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops plus a very short walk to the beach. The apartment is so cutely decorated and well equipped with all the beach features you need. Miss hanging out in that terrace with my friends, want to make this a yearly tradition.

The outside entrance was underwhelming but as soon as we went upstairs and entered the apartment it was a great feeling, ample, spacious, huge kitchen well equipped. Good size bedrooms, comfortable beds. Everything very clean. They even have items for sale like bathing suits incase you forgot them. We loved it was within walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach.

This listiing was highly rated when I booked it. And now after staying there, I can see why. First of all the owner was very quick to answer any questions day or night. The unit was very clean and it had everything you could need. I would recommend this to everyone and I would book this again! I give it a 10/10! Thank you!!

I had an excellent stay. A hidden little jewel a short distance to the beach! Clean, bright and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I had everything that I needed plus more. The host, Chad, was super friendly and quick to respond. The outdoor area was perfect for lounging and having my morning coffee. I highly recommended staying here and I would stay here again!
