Lakeside house with a separate bunkhouse

While we were not there to enjoy the lake, this home was a clean and comfortable place to sleep and the view through the large windows was beautiful.The listing is very accurate and honest about the home and location, so there were really no surprises which was appreciated!

We were in town for the last man standing ultramarathon at pineland Farms. The house on the lake was amazing.

You don’t always get what you see. This cottage was extremely musty and moldy. We got physically sick, coughing, sneezing, etc. The gas grill was unusable, rusty, so dirty, I would never put a hamburger on it. The host was easy to contact at first, but as our vacation went on, he never replied. We left 2 days early , We have used VRBO many times, this one is at the bottom of the list.

The Good Nice accommodations, accurate to pictures on listing. Beautiful views out of the living room, especially sunset. Canoe available as well. Host was responsive when issues came up. The Not so good Nobody swam for the whole week. The water is only a foot or two deep for many yards. I wish there was more info about that. I know this body lf water has some level challenges, but we were bummed swimming wasn't really an option from the House. There is a beach down the road. The other disappointment was the proximity to the road, as the speed limit is 40-50 mph, and we could consistently hear road noise. If you have your own boat, this is a great spot for the week.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean and comfortable house in a great location.
