Apex Mountain ~ The Wooden Nickel

This is a well maintained, ski in/ski out unit at Apex. Everything you need. Especially appreciated their responsiveness and excellent service while we stayed here.

We had an amazing first-ever family getaway at Apex, and loved staying at the Wooden Nickel! The pictures do not do this suite justice. It is quite spacious, with lots of room in the entry to hang jackets, snowpants and other winter outwear. The beds are very comfy, the kitchen is well-equipped (just make sure you bring coffee pods - not ground coffee!) and there are several board games and puzzles to enjoy. The view is beautiful, and the hot tub was a much-enjoyed luxury after a day on the hill. Michelle was wonderful, and checked in by email before, and during our stay, to make sure we had everything we needed. So happy with everything....we will definitely be back!

Three of us stayed in this perfect location home on the hill. We skied to it for lunch during our days of skiing. The hot tub was a perfect size to enjoy after a long day on the hill. Great place, we will most definitely be back.

Awesome place to spend the weekend at Apex. Large open layout , great for a weekend of skiing!
