This vacation rental was everything my family was looking for and beyond! We all had an amazing time. Enjoyed the golf cart and kayaks on the river. Super easy check in process, super clean home, we all felt at home. I would love to return in the future!

We came for a softball tournament and the cabin was very convenient to everything. It was clean and smelled so good and had everything we needed. The kayaks were a plus with a short golf cart ride to put them in the water. It was the perfect little place to stay and even though only 1 bedroom/1 bathroom our family of 5 had plenty of space!

We all had a great time, would love to come back again maybe during the summer when the lake level is up more. We loved the back deck and fire place. It was a pleasure to stay. Can’t wait to come back didn’t want to leave.

Great little cabin! We enjoyed the golf cart, kayaks and tubes. There is a golf cart drive to get to the lake. Overall very great experience. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lake Place and loved that it had all the amenities so we didn't pack everything and bring it with us for our three-day weekend. We especially appreciated that they had kayaks, tubes, and a canoe that we could use to play around with on the lake. And while it's not on the water itself, it's right nearby and easy to get to on the provided golf cart. Would definitely stay there again.

This property is wonderful! The owners truly have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. We loved the golf cart, kayaks, and the tubes for fun days on the lake. The cabin itself was very inviting and comfortable. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. We used the golf cart and kayaks to explore the neighborhood and lake. We encountered several deer! We spent one morning hiking at Tugaloo and ate dinner at 211 Main St Restaurant. The restaurant opens at 5:00 for dinner and there was already a line to get in. The food was delicious. They also have prepared food that you can purchase and take back to the cabin for an easy meal.

We truly loved this property! It will Most definitely be on our top list when going to the lake. The cabin was fully stocked, very clean and beautiful outdoor ambiance. We truly enjoyed ourselves. This was a wonderful place to celebrate my husband on this Father’s Day weekend!!! Thanks again!

My wife and I were in need of some time away from home and wanted to find somewhere quiet and relaxing. This place turned out to be perfect for the two of us. The house itself is stocked with just about everything you need for your stay. You just need your clothes and food. The kitchen is loaded with spices, pots, pans, etc. There are 3 queen size beds with extra blankets, pillows, etc. The house is well kept and very clean. The owners obviously care about their guests given the fact that they have put so much thought into making our stay enjoyable. The golf cart was and added plus. We enjoyed driving the cart down to the lake. We will be coming back here again.

The Lake Place was so much more than we expected. Cozy, comfortable and peaceful. It was truly a nice surprise and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin was nicely laid out, and the kids loved the room upstairs because they loved having their own space. The cabin provides everything needed, so we got to just relax and enjoy. We will be back!

We stayed at the cabin for our son's wedding to a local Lavonia girl. The cabin was delightful and close enough to all the activities so that we could go back and forth and use it as our home base. The hosts think of everything! It's a very comfortable cabin.

My wife and I spent the weekend here to celebrate our anniversary. The location was easy to get to and beautifully situated. The interior was wonderfully decorated and made us feel at home immediately. I will absolutely be coming back though bring our fishing poles the next time!

The communication on how to in the house was clear and accurate a couple of days before, so I could take a breather on that front. When we got there we were amazed about all the amenties that were there to make us feel at home. Plenty of pillows ad blankets. They even had a coffee bar that had herbal teas waiting for you and coffee. There is a Dollar General right down the Road though. There was board games and all kinds of card games gallore if it starts to rain and there is a very nice swing ( we didnt have time),on the front porch to swing in and take in the sweet smell of the gardenia's. The golf cart is all charged up for you to ride up and down the street (very little traffic). Im sure there is lots more but this would turn into a book.

Our stay at The Lake Place was nothing short of incredible! The chalet exceeded all of our expectations with its comfort, impeccable organization, and charming decoration. Every detail of the space reflected care and thoughtfulness, making it feel like a true home away from home.The cleanliness was outstanding, which made our experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. We are especially grateful to Brad and June for their exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely welcome.Thank you for sharing this beautiful slice of paradise with me, my wife, and our children. It was a memorable experience for our family, and we can’t wait to return!

The lake house was very nice and cozy. Golf cart made getting to the lake very easy. Definitely recommend staying here if visitings the area. Easy check in, house was very clean and homey feeling.

My wife and I were in need of some time away from home and wanted to find somewhere quiet and relaxing. This place turned out to be perfect for the two of us. The house itself is stocked with just about everything you need for your stay. You just need your clothes and food. The kitchen is loaded with spices, pots, pans, etc. There are 3 queen size beds with extra blankets, pillows, etc. The house is well kept and very clean. The owners obviously care about their guests given the fact that they have put so much thought into making our stay enjoyable. The golf cart was and added plus. We enjoyed driving the cart down to the lake. We will be coming back here again.

The house is set into a wooded lake community with lots of cool wildlife. There is also plenty for of things for kids between 3-10 within 15-20 minutes. Great place to stay all around.

We came for a softball tournament and the cabin was very convenient to everything. It was clean and smelled so good and had everything we needed. The kayaks were a plus with a short golf cart ride to put them in the water. It was the perfect little place to stay and even though only 1 bedroom/1 bathroom our family of 5 had plenty of space!

It was a short trip and we were barely there due to the nature of our plans. The home is lovely and the location is amazing. Will definitely be returning on our next trip to Georgia.

We stayed at the cabin for our son's wedding to a local Lavonia girl. The cabin was delightful and close enough to all the activities so that we could go back and forth and use it as our home base. The hosts think of everything! It's a very comfortable cabin.

Our family enjoyed a 4 night/3 day stay here this fall. This place was perfect for our family of four. The cabin has everything you need - we could have gotten by with just clothes and groceries. We enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pits, and hiking nearby at Tugaloo State Park. We plan to come back here in the future!

Great little cabin! We enjoyed the golf cart, kayaks and tubes. There is a golf cart drive to get to the lake. Overall very great experience. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lake Place and loved that it had all the amenities so we didn't pack everything and bring it with us for our three-day weekend. We especially appreciated that they had kayaks, tubes, and a canoe that we could use to play around with on the lake. And while it's not on the water itself, it's right nearby and easy to get to on the provided golf cart. Would definitely stay there again.

We spent one morning hiking at Tugaloo and ate dinner at 211 Main St Restaurant. The restaurant opens at 5:00 for dinner and there was already a line to get in. The food was delicious. They also have prepared food that you can purchase and take back to the cabin for an easy meal.

The communication on how to in the house was clear and accurate a couple of days before, so I could take a breather on that front. When we got there we were amazed about all the amenties that were there to make us feel at home. Plenty of pillows ad blankets. They even had a coffee bar that had herbal teas waiting for you and coffee. There is a Dollar General right down the Road though. There was board games and all kinds of card games gallore if it starts to rain and there is a very nice swing ( we didnt have time),on the front porch to swing in and take in the sweet smell of the gardenia's. The golf cart is all charged up for you to ride up and down the street (very little traffic). Im sure there is lots more but this would turn into a book.
