We were really loving staying at Waikoloa Villas. Amenities in the great condition, great parking options including garage. There is convenient option to use a gas grill located on the balcony patio. I will recommend this property to my friends and will come back again.

It is well furnished, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook or BBQ a full meal, which is super helpful if you’re planning on eating on a budget. The condo was clean with easy access to beach towels, chairs, boogie boards and even a plethora of snorkel sets. We loved having two double beds in the second bedroom to comfortably fit our family of four. Overall, we would highly recommend this rental and hope to come back again soon.

The beach gear (umbrellas, chairs, coolers) in the garage was great. The unit was well stocked with towels and bedding. Any issues or questions were promptly addressed by Michelle. Michelle is great and has helped us in prior rentals as well. The lanai BBQ was so convenient. We didn't do too much cooking at the condo but when we did, we had everything we needed. Compared to many of the other condos we've stayed at, this was one of the best. I plan to stay here again if I can. This says I'm from Kihei but I'm actually from Utah.

We enjoyed the villa so much. We liked being in a gated community and it was so close to the shopping centers and the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Lots of places to walk and enjoy the Hawaii scenery and weather.

Convenient to shops and restaurant. Nice to have both third floor with our friends. Nice to have all the amenities both inside the house and in the garage. Nice to have a garage to park our car. Michelle was great to work out any issues that we had during our stay. A few constructive feedback: the elevator was a little scary and made strange noises that made us uncomfortable to use. We did miss having music at the pool. We were asked to turn off the music when no one was there, even though we were playing soft music. Overall a very nice place to stay but we wish it was closer to the beach. We are use to Resort stay and missed having easy access to the beach.

We had wonderful stay at this property and was prefect for the three of us. The unit was very clean, beautifully decorated and within walking distance to the shops. We loved that it was in a gated property, very private and quiet. Also, it was a bonus that it had its own garage and equipped with everything we needed to go to the beach. We frequented Anaeho'omalu Bay many times and saw so many turtles resting on the shore. Also, there was a farmer's market on one of the days at the shops across the street. The location is perfect and walking distance to the shops. Loved the balcony with the barbecue on the balcony, and enjoyed sitting outside in the evening to relax. We didn't use the pool (but it did look very nice) as we are beach people and went to the beach during the day instead. :-) Also, the master bedroom was spacious and a very comfortable bed. The only issue we had was the front door key fob didn't work properly (it wouldn't lock the door with the code), so we called and they sent someone to bring us a key for the door. We used the key for the rest of the stay and it wasn't a problem. :-) Overall, we highly recommend this place and look forward to returning and were sad to leave. This condo is in a great location in a beautiful resort. It is very well cared-for and was very much a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend it for couples or families who want to stay in Waikoloa Resort.

To be fair, the complex is not on the beach, but is a 10-12 minute walk away. Check-in / check-out were seamlessly easy via the management company's mobile app. The unit and garage space were very well equipped for all of our vacation needs. For full disclosure, I would like to point out a few minor issues/observations during our stay: 1) after our first night in the unit, we were awoken to the sweet sounds of chainsaws at 5:30am across the way at the King's Shops as work crews were trimming trees in the area (I guess it makes sense, given how hot/humid it gets during the day, so maintenance creaws have to get their jobs done before then. And, if you walk through the WB complex, you'll notice it takes an 'army' to maintain the vision of 'manufactured Hawaii' all around you), 2) the bed in the master bedroom was big, but severely sagging on each side (think inverted 'V'). The severity of the sag on either side was quite comical, but navigable. And 3) there is no door to separate the master bathroom from the master bedroom. So, if your partner uses the bathroom in the middle of the night (separate water closet with a door), then goes to wash their hands, unless they have night vision, they will need to turn on the bathroom light, flooding the bedroom with light in the process. Again, these were very minor issues that did not diminish our stay one bit. If we were to visit the Big Island, we would not hesitate to ask for this unit/complex again.

Just finished a week stay at the condo with a major goal of research on possibly living here part time. Learned that it is not the right community for us with major drawbacks being the heat and the poor quality of the restaurants in Waikoloa (with exception of Roy's and Lava Lava). The shops look better online than they are in reality. The condo itself is a good choice, particularly for groups of 4+. The positive things: 1) almost anything you might need for a week stay is provided, including beach gear in the garage, 2) ease of check in, parking, gate to community, 3) shops within a block walk, 4) great entertainment set up, 4) quiet area except for leaf blowers most mornings. Negatives: 1) the patio furniture is not comfortable, we could sit on the high chairs for about 20 minutes max before having to move, 2) the sofa and loveseat need to be replaced. In short, it was hard to get comfortable when spending any significant time in the unit, 3) the temperature control set at 74 degrees is a bit hot. If the fans are going it is just about tolerable for sleeping, but would gladly pay another 100 dollars a week to offset the cost of being able to run the AC at 72 at night. All in all, solid choice and probably would be fine for younger families, but for us on the 50+ age group it is lacking in creature comfort that fully justify dropping a few thousand for a week stay. Upgraded furntiture and a slightly cooler environment would make it a winner for all.

A car is definitely a must on the Big Island but the condo is a 10-15 minute drive to other great beaches, only an hour from the Visitor's Centre at Mauna Kea and a short 30 minutes from Kona airport. The garage is loaded with beach items including several umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, toys and more. Check-in and out was easy and communication was good. We would definitely stay here again when we go back to the Big Island.

We stayed here for one week with our baby and teenager. This place was perfect! Right across the street from shops. Quick walk to the beach. The BBQ on the deck was more handy than anything for quick meals. The rooms and decor were lovely. No issues at all. Communication was easy. We hope to be back one day.
