Walk to Main St | Pet-Friendly Apt

We didn't stay at the place reserved and got sent to a back up place right before check in. It was a strange back alley entrance with standing water and rickety steps up to the unit but confusion over which unit was ours. Once we figured it out, it was challenging to get the door to unlock and lock with the mechanism not quite lining up without pushing and pulling the door to get it just right. The toilet off one bedroom required taking the tank cover off to make it flush and to make it stop running every time. The other small bathroom had no anti slip adhesive in the tub which made showering a slippery challenge. The unit is over main St in St Charles which is a happening place so you could hear the bands playing at the local bars until way past midnight nightly and Sunday morning someone was hammering loudly early in the morning. It was less than an ideal stay for us and geared toward young, active folks who don't mind sketchy entrances and loud music much of the night.

The apartment was easy to find. Parking lot was small. There was available parking on the street. The refrigerator made noise when running. I texted the manager and received a immediate response. They had someone come and look at refrigerator while we out of apartment. When we returned the refrigerator still made the noise.

Property was as advertised. Perfect for my needs, clean, quiet and convenient. Loved Historic St. Charles. Would recommend anytime! Thank you!
