Absolutely beautiful property! Very well equipped. The gate at the top of the stairs was perfect for protecting our 13 month old. Very close to the beach walkway. Plenty of beach chairs and towels. We loved it so much that we already booked for next year!

We stayed at the house with friends for a board game weekend. The house was immaculately clean. It is even more beautiful than the photos. they were plenty of tables to set up on. The sitting room off the kitchen has a low ceiling and a door. It provides a very quiet space to escape to if you need a little quiet. there is very easy access to the beach. You can see the ocean from several rooms in the house. Wells is a great area with plenty of restaurants. To me the only consideration that seems worth mentioning is there is parking for four cars. I don’t know where a fifth car would park. It wasn’t a problem for us. The house far exceeded our expectations. We’re hoping to rent there again.

Nice location, looked like the listing pictures, very clean. Great house for family get togethers. Lots of open large spaces and was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen items. Easily accessible to beach via public walking paths. Beach chairs and beach towels were provided. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here.. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The location of the house was perfect. We loved the view of the ocean. The house was exactly as described/shown in the pictures. Since we fly into Maine, we especially appreciate that bed linens/beach towels and beach chairs/umbrella are provided. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful home! It has all you could want and then some. So tastefully decorated, very clean, and comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 12 including teens and toddlers. An upper and lower living/TV room were quite useful in allowing entertainment for both teens and adults. The front and back decks were peaceful and allowed for some great grilling, not to mention a good ocean view from the front. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the basics. Linens and towels were clean and crisp and bedding was comfortable. Loved that the AC could be adjusted by house level. Would have loved to use the fireplace but a bit too warm for that option. May have to consider a fall visit. Located just a few steps to beach access, it was truly one of the best homes we have rented over the years. Moreover, Richard was an absolute joy to work with, very responsive, sometimes within minutes. A welcome bouquet and some bubly were a nice welcome touch. There is no question that we would love to return in the near future.

We loved our stay at this beach house in Wells for a family vacation, 4 couples and a handful of little kids/infants. Tons of living space for everyone to spread out (3 large living/family rooms!). Nice big kitchen, bbq on the back deck. It was cold and rainy early in the week so we also enjoyed the 2 big fireplaces and puzzles. Right across the street from a large beach with public access a couple houses down in either direction. We also loved being a very quick drive to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Thanks you for a wonderful trip, we would love to stay here again!

ANTS all over the master bedroom and bathroom, (will not allow me to post a video). Couldn’t sleep in there on our one night stay! Paid over 1000 for 1 night and they offered us a measly 260 credit! carpet stains, cob webs everywhere, moldy furniture on decks, clogged toilet, clogged drain and the list goes on and we only spent 1 night!! Host takes a day to reply back to any messages Look elsewhere!

My family has been vacationing in Wells for over 40 years. Now that we’ve added a crew of grandchildren, it has been a better fit to rent a house for us all to maximize our time together and ensure accomodations fit our needs.This home offered both the size, layout, and location that we were looking for. With plenty of beds, bathrooms, and kitchen supplies, we were very pleased. The addition of beach toys and chairs was much appreciated, too!A few recommendations would be a cleaning of the second floor balcony. The chairs and picnic table were covered in dirt/layer of black mold due to the dampness. We also were unable to open the dining room (deck) door and some windows because no screens were installed.Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and hope to stay again someday!

This is our second year staying in this home for our girl's weekend and we had a lovely time. Plenty of space for the seven of us and we already can't wait for next year. Richard is very communicative and answers questions promptly. He was very helpful after we realized we left something behind. Big tables for game days and nights. We also took advantage of the puzzles available in the house. As other reviewers mentioned, we would love having a property info guide. We spent quite some time trying to figure out the TV and speakers in the family room (and never figured out the speakers). It was a cold and snowy weekend and the fireplace was easy to use. Kitchen is well stocked (but bring a cocktail shaker)! You will not regret a stay at this gorgeous beach house!! Final note: My bed was very comfy but those who slept in the bunk beds this year and last found them to be very uncomfortable. I'm sure they are fine for kids but not so much for adults.

Everything about our trip was great! (Feb 2024) We had just about everything we needed in the kitchen for our girls weekend. Beds were extremely comfortable (with the exception of the twin beds). There are three living room areas so plenty of space to spread out if needed (the one across from the kitchen was my favorite!) It is a short two minute walk to the beach. This house would be even more amazing in the summer! We didn't leave the house much BUT you definitely need to have breakfast at the Greenery Cafe in Oqunquit. There were a group of 10 ladies for the 3 day weekend. The house was so beautiful and the location was right across the beach. Easy to walk to. Very clean when we arrived and VERY spacious. Just remember that he main floor is actually upstairs along with the master bedroom. We had a friend with a wheelchair, but we did make it work. Highly recomment this house!!

With five bedrooms and three family rooms, everyone could enjoy stepping away or visiting w smaller groups. Although not traveling with all of our adult daughters (5) and their families, we’re already thinking of a return visit. House is located perfectly to cross the street and enjoy the beach.and convenient to shopping and necessities. Can’t wait to return!

Spent several days here as part of a trip across the east coast with family and this house was perfect for our group both in size and the amazing location. The walk across the street to the beach was so easy and the peek-a-boo views from the front of the house to the ocean were lovely.

If you are looking for a great place for a group, this is it! Beautiful home, very clean and well maintained! Location is wonderful! Quiet neighborhood, just across the street from the beach w beach access very close. The owner is very responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this for a vacation!

Property was great but access info was unclear and owner did not respond for over an hour to clarify. After listening to weather alerts and attempting to contact the owner again, we contacted local police (Wells) who advised us to relocate due to expected power outage and road flooding. We did. When we checked the next day, Central Maine Power, we were advised of power outage on Atlantic Av. Wells Police advised that roads were closed that we would have to travel to access the property. Sent a message to the owner. Only response was he was waiting to hear from CMP, with absolutely no follow up. With no assurance the house had power or the roads were accessible, we resorted to alternate accommodations at significant cost. I would caution anyone about dealing with this owner which is unfortunate as it was a great property and perfect location.

After listening to weather alerts and attempting to contact the owner again, we contacted local police (Wells) who advised us to relocate due to expected power outage and road flooding. We did. When we checked the next day, Central Maine Power, we were advised of power outage on Atlantic Av. Wells Police advised that roads were closed that we would have to travel to access the property. Sent a message to the owner. Only response was he was waiting to hear from CMP, with absolutely no follow up. With no assurance the house had power or the roads were accessible, we resorted to alternate accommodations at significant cost. I would caution anyone about dealing with this owner which is unfortunate as it was a great property and perfect location.

This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy school break! Location was great, home was very comfortable and plenty of space to spread out! We also loved having a big kitchen that we could prepare actual meals! Host was very responsive and would reply immediately with answers of any of our questions. Perfect all around!

Spent several days here as part of a trip across the east coast with family and this house was perfect for our group both in size and the amazing location. The walk across the street to the beach was so easy and the peek-a-boo views from the front of the house to the ocean were lovely.

We loved our stay at this beach house in Wells for a family vacation, 4 couples and a handful of little kids/infants. Tons of living space for everyone to spread out (3 large living/family rooms!). Nice big kitchen, bbq on the back deck. It was cold and rainy early in the week so we also enjoyed the 2 big fireplaces and puzzles. Right across the street from a large beach with public access a couple houses down in either direction. We also loved being a very quick drive to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Thanks you for a wonderful trip, we would love to stay here again!

Everything about our trip was great! (Feb 2024) We had just about everything we needed in the kitchen for our girls weekend. Beds were extremely comfortable (with the exception of the twin beds). There are three living room areas so plenty of space to spread out if needed (the one across from the kitchen was my favorite!) It is a short two minute walk to the beach. This house would be even more amazing in the summer! We didn't leave the house much BUT you definitely need to have breakfast at the Greenery Cafe in Oqunquit. Richard was easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly. The only things we wish we had that we had to go out for was a cocktail shaker and a few kitchen items like paper towels and zip lock bags. We hope we can visit again next year!

5 long time friends who have VRBO’d many places over the last 10 years- and we had a great stay! Clean. Well appointed kitchen, pleasant decor, easy access to the beach, lots of space. Nice location, looked like the listing pictures, very clean. Great house for family get togethers. Lots of open large spaces and was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen items. Easily accessible to beach via public walking paths. Beach chairs and beach towels were provided. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful home! It has all you could want and then some. So tastefully decorated, very clean, and comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 12 including teens and toddlers. An upper and lower living/TV room were quite useful in allowing entertainment for both teens and adults. The front and back decks were peaceful and allowed for some great grilling, not to mention a good ocean view from the front. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the basics. Linens and towels were clean and crisp and bedding was comfortable. Loved that the AC could be adjusted by house level. Would have loved to use the fireplace but a bit too warm for that option. May have to consider a fall visit. Located just a few steps to beach access, it was truly one of the best homes we have rented over the years. Moreover, Richard was an absolute joy to work with, very responsive, sometimes within minutes. A welcome bouquet and some bubly were a nice welcome touch. There is no question that we would love to return in the near future.

Five 50-something couples had a perfect vacation in a great house. Awesome location, house was exactly as described. Plenty of room for everyone, amenities were great, including a gourmet kitchen that got plenty of use.
