The Cozy Cabin was an absolute wonderful experience! The house was clean, located in a peaceful and beautiful area. Perfect for our weekend retreat! The host was very friendly and maintained the home well. We loved the unique touches that came with the stay such as the pin-ball machine, juke-box, pellet stove and jacuzzi tub! Plus the bed was super comfortable! To top it off, our dog was able to join us for the trip! We will be back to visit again!

What an amazing place to stay. The cabin was a lot more remote than we expected but the peace that we found was exactly what we needed. THE STARS! Omg the stars! Our first night was clear and we had never seen so many stars. Everything that we could have needed was provided, and the jukebox and games were so much fun! Definitely on the list for places to go back to.

Barbara and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Osceola County! The cottage had all the amenities – and then some!! WiFi, Roku TV, outdoor grill & deck, nicely equipped and laid out kitchen, two baths & one with a whirlpool! PLUS a pinball machine and a jukebox! Very relaxing to kick back on the deck in the evening. It’s a ten-minute drive to the nearest town, Evart. Very nice park on the banks of the Muskegon River where we hung out and walked our dog. We loved the ice cream – and cheeseburgers - at Mishler’s Drive In. Friendly staff. The landlord was really nice and easy to work with: he helped make our stay that much more relaxing. You can count on us for a return visit!

I had an exceptional stay at Todd’s wonderful cabin in the woods. His communication was impeccable and made it easy to kick back and enjoy myself. From relaxing on the back deck to walking the mushroom path and sitting in the woods for hours, this was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve ever had. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, with a full kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and plenty of thoughtful amenities including fun arcade games, Netflix, A/C, a pellet stove, and a jukebox. My favorite part of the visit was the unlimited privacy and quiet, especially at night. I enjoyed my stay immensely and can’t wait to visit again with my family and for another solo trip (or two, or three).

While a little hard to find and not very impressive from the outside, inside was wondersful. Nice furnishings and several complementary activi\ties--a juke box, Ms. Packman, and a classic pinball machine. A large kitchen and bathroom (plus powderroom).

The location was perfect and was very welcoming. We enjoyed all of the amenities from the jukebox, to the pinball machine, to the jacuzzi tub. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Todd and their property highly enough. It’s was the best anniversary getaway ever! Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality!

Out side is not beautiful but the inside is magnificent... My husband has back issues and the hot tub did wonders for his pain . If we could have figured out how to get the king bed out we would have become a thief. We are both 70 and had never slept in such a more comfortable bed.ditto for the grand daughter and her friend that slept in the queen bed. My husband and I thought we missed pinball from the old days buy that bed over ran. Everything. It was worth it to see the girls faces about some jukebox songs. We were lucky to have 2 beautiful days and 2 rainy. On the rainy days we learned a lot about the girls, they were glad to stay in and hang out with us. The girls actually made the best chicken Alfredo for supper and a chocolate peanut butter frozen dessert. Both girls are going back to school for their 3rd semesters and looking forward to it. I was a bit surprised both girl wants to do the same for next year. Almost forgot the girls made s'mores and hand fed them to me and Grandpa. What wonderful memories for us all. Assuming Grandpa and I stay healthy we are all for this. Thank you Todd for letting us rent your extra house. God bless you..

We loved staying at this place as a quick getaway. Todd was great at communicating and everything was just as it was described. We took advantage of the pinball machine, Ms PacMan arcade game and jukebox. We would’ve loved to have done more things outside but it was a bit rainy. We did go for a short walk on the trail.We wi definitely be back!

Above ALL the properties I have booked and stayed at, this is by far the BEST!!!! Actually, the pictures don't do it justice. We walked in to a clean and welcoming beautiful Cabin. My grandkids (5 and almost 3) were absolutely excited to see the pinball machine AND they had Ms. PacMan!!!! To be honest, I'm not sure if they or I was more excited. The place was clean and cozy. Everything you could possibly need was there and more! Beautiful trails to walk and have an Adventure with the little ones. Todd provided plenty of chairs and seating inside and out! The woodwork in this place is SO beautiful. We will definitely be back as this is a great place to "Unplug and Unwind" away from anything busy. Just complete NATURE! Todd was an absolute pleasure and is VERY prompt with answering any questions or dealing with any concerns. SUPER nice guy. :) I could go on and on about how AWESOME this property is but I want it to be available for the future so....that's it!

My wife and I were looking for a quiet secluded place to take a break from our everyday lives, work, and child and Todd’s place was perfect for us. It was very quiet in the area. It was nice going on a hike and knowing we wouldn’t see anyone at all. The house was great, very clean and it had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was awesome, fast and didn’t have a single issue. Todd was very nice and communicative but didn’t bother us at all once we got to the house. We had no issues so didn’t need to reach out to him for anything. The fire pit was great. Plenty of firewood and fire starters. Outdoor chairs in the shed. Lighter in the kitchen. Plenty of dishes and utensils. The jet tub was great and there were plenty of towels that smelled great. We would definitely stay here again, this was an awesome getaway that we needed desperately.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We had a great time hiking in the area and relaxing playing music on the juke box, playing pinball and board games. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable. Accommodations were everything we needed and Todd was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

It is deep in the woods. Several miles of dirt roads to arrive. I was amazed at how deep in the woods we were and yet had all the amenities of home. Great water pressure with quick flushing toilets, washer and dryer, a couple of cool heat sources ,wifi, and a smart TV. The trails were amazing. We had a great couple days.

If you’re looking for a wooded secluded tranquil stay, this is the place for you. Once leaving the main Highway 10, you travel through rural farm land into rolling beautiful forests. Once you arrive, you’ll find the house situated not far off the road nestled tightly within the woods. This home is comfortably laid out with non-typical features of having a jute box, pin ball machine for entertainment as well as a wood pellet stove to warm up to. The queen bed was very comfortable. The ability to bring our Brittany along for the stay was also a bonus. If you’re planning on doing a lot of cooking beyond needing the basics of basics, bring your supplies. Evart has a really good grocery store if needed. For you trail enthusiasts, whether by foot or motorized, the surrounding state forest offers lots of opportunity to adventure.

Out side is not beautiful but the inside is magnificent... My husband has back issues and the hot tub did wonders for his pain . If we could have figured out how to get the king bed out we would have become a thief. We are both 70 and had never slept in such a more comfortable bed.ditto for the grand daughter and her friend that slept in the queen bed. My husband and I thought we missed pinball from the old days buy that bed over ran. Everything. It was worth it to see the girls faces about some jukebox songs. We were lucky to have 2 beautiful days and 2 rainy. On the rainy days we learned a lot about the girls, they were glad to stay in and hang out with us. The girls actually made the best chicken Alfredo for supper and a chocolate peanut butter frozen dessert. Both girls are going back to school for their 3rd semesters and looking forward to it. I was a bit surprised both girl wants to do the same for next year. Almost forgot the girls made s'mores and hand fed them to me and Grandpa. What wonderful memories for us all. Assuming Grandpa and I stay healthy we are all for this. Thank you Todd for letting us rent your extra house. God bless you..

We totally enjoyed our visit. So quiet and peaceful. Lots of house space! Big living dining area, big kitchen. Very nice bedrooms with super comfy beds. Fun to walk the trails and walk our dog down the road looking for the perfect rocks! Loved the pellet burner fire place. Can’t say there was a negative about anything. Bonus

Very happy with this cabin in the woods secluded from the main road but still 15 minutes from Evart MI in case you need anything. Beds were very comfortable same with the couches lovely master bathroom too would stay at again. Found our it's 30 mins from the Tin Cup Orv trails which I've wanted to check out so that was a huge plus. Would recommend to friends and family!!

The cabin was as promised! You will love this place. We fit 3 kids and 2 adults well! Drove into a snowstorm and get stuck in the driveway and the owner came out to help us get out for 2.5 hours! That is impressive!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Todd had everything ready for us before we arrived and had the driveway plowed, too (it snowed just before our arrival). He was also good with communication. Comfortable beds. Lots of kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens. Tub worked well. Pellet stove was nice. It was quiet and private. We plan to stay here again in the future!

I had an exceptional stay at Todd’s wonderful cabin in the woods. His communication was impeccable and made it easy to kick back and enjoy myself. From relaxing on the back deck to walking the mushroom path and sitting in the woods for hours, this was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve ever had. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, with a full kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and plenty of thoughtful amenities including fun arcade games, Netflix, A/C, a pellet stove, and a jukebox. My favorite part of the visit was the unlimited privacy and quiet, especially at night. I enjoyed my stay immensely and can’t wait to visit again with my family and for another solo trip (or two, or three).

My husband and I wanted to hid away from life for a couple of days. This was the perfect spot to do it. The cabin was clean and quiet. The juke box was a ton of fun. Todd was a great host. Couldnt have asked for a better escape in the woods

We loved staying at this place as a quick getaway. Todd was great at communicating and everything was just as it was described. We took advantage of the pinball machine, Ms PacMan arcade game and jukebox. We would’ve loved to have done more things outside but it was a bit rainy. On the way there we totaled out car. In a pond! Yet we were welcomed and even got help emptying out of car. We were bought over eggs, (Since ours were ruined). Checked on daily to see if we needed anything. But this place was Amazing an exactly what we need to save the vacation! So relaxing and quiet and has Everything you need plus more! We even got a fire going in the snow! I will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays! 20 stars!!!! Thank you so so much for your hospitality and Kindess!

Above ALL the properties I have booked and stayed at, this is by far the BEST!!!! Actually, the pictures don't do it justice. We walked in to a clean and welcoming beautiful Cabin. My grandkids (5 and almost 3) were absolutely excited to see the pinball machine AND they had Ms. PacMan!!!! To be honest, I'm not sure if they or I was more excited. The place was clean and cozy. Everything you could possibly need was there and more! Beautiful trails to walk and have an Adventure with the little ones. Todd provided plenty of chairs and seating inside and out! The woodwork in this place is SO beautiful. We will definitely be back as this is a great place to "Unplug and Unwind" away from anything busy. Just complete NATURE! Todd was an absolute pleasure and is VERY prompt with answering any questions or dealing with any concerns. SUPER nice guy. :) I could go on and on about how AWESOME this property is but I want it to be available for the future so....that's it!

What an amazing place to stay. The cabin was a lot more remote than we expected but the peace that we found was exactly what we needed. THE STARS! Omg the stars! Our first night was clear and we had never seen so many stars. Everything that we could have needed was provided, and the jukebox and games were so much fun! Definitely on the list for places to go back to.

Barbara and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Osceola County! The cottage had all the amenities – and then some!! WiFi, Roku TV, outdoor grill & deck, nicely equipped and laid out kitchen, two baths & one with a whirlpool! PLUS a pinball machine and a jukebox! Very relaxing to kick back on the deck in the evening. It’s a ten-minute drive to the nearest town, Evart. Very nice park on the banks of the Muskegon River where we hung out and walked our dog. We loved the ice cream – and cheeseburgers - at Mishler’s Drive In. Friendly staff. The landlord was really nice and easy to work with: he helped make our stay that much more relaxing. You can count on us for a return visit!

We had a great weekend and plenty of sleeping arrangements. I didn’t even read about the pinball machine or jukebox but they were a nice edition. Dogs absolutely loved the trails and remoteness. The only suggestion I have is put out a sign or mailbox as we drove right by it. Thx and hopefully we’ll be back

Ive stayed at several locations that give me easy access to ORV trails and this is now one of my favorites. Besides location, the cabin is well equipped and well maintained. Todd is super easy to work with. Overall great experience and will stay longer next time!

It is deep in the woods. Several miles of dirt roads to arrive. I was amazed at how deep in the woods we were and yet had all the amenities of home. Great water pressure with quick flushing toilets, washer and dryer, a couple of cool heat sources ,wifi, and a smart TV. The trails were amazing. We had a great couple days.

We loved our weekend at the cabin. It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed to take a break from life. The cabin is beautiful and we loved walking in the woods. I loved drinking coffee off the back deck and breakfast at the booth seating with a nice view. Everyone I met in Evart and Reed city were so friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

A perfect getaway in the woods with all the modern conveniences. We never felt a need to leave the property, although we did visit Evart and Reed City for fun. Coffee on the deck in the mornings, listening to the music of the birds. Campfires at night under a canopy of stars. So relaxing.

We absolutely loved this placeEverything is just like the pictures.We traveled to Traverse City,Ludington and Manistee while staying here.Each are about 1 1/2 hr away.We cooked out on the gas grill every night.Enjoyed listening to the Jukebox and playing the pinball machine.Plan on returning in the fall.Whatever you do don’t let map quest take you down Forest Hill Ave to 7 mile.👀Good thing we had 4 wheel drive.

Stayed here for 10 days. We wanted something in the woods so this was perfect. Surrounded by trees this house offered us the relax and recharge we were hoping for. We can’t say enough wonderful things. The host has a beautiful outdoor fire pit with plenty of firewood & chairs. The back deck has a large gas grill, table, and chairs to enjoy the view with. There are a few nature trails out back to enjoy a short hike. Inside there’s s a washer, dryer & dishwasher. The kitchen has everything you could need. There was coffee & filters, laundry soap, dishwasher powder, salt, pepper & spices, aluminum foil, plastic wrap & a handful condiments in the fridge (I recommend taking stock of items available before grocery shopping) The downstairs bathroom has the biggest jet tub I’ve ever seen & offers a lovely view of the woods while you soak. There were plenty of clean towels and hand soap provided. There’s a large glass-block walk in shower as well. The beds were comfortable pillow top mattresses, and the AC window units in bedroom windows cooled things off nicely on the warm nights. There’s also a half-bath upstairs. The main living area has a comfortable sectional couch, and a large smart TV with Wi-Fi. There is also an awesome vintage pinball machine, and a juke box that plays 45’s. Stayed here for 10 days. We wanted something in the woods so this was perfect. Surrounded by trees this house offered us the relax and recharge we were hoping for. We can’t say enough wonderful things. The host has a beautiful outdoor fire pit with plenty of firewood & chairs. The back deck has a large gas grill, table, and chairs to enjoy the view with. There are a few nature trails out back to enjoy a short hike. Inside there’s s a washer, dryer & dishwasher. The kitchen has everything you could need. There was coffee & filters, laundry soap, dishwasher powder, salt, pepper & spices, aluminum foil, plastic wrap & a handful condiments in the fridge (I recommend taking stock of items available before grocery shopping) The downstairs bathroom has the biggest jet tub I’ve ever seen & offers a lovely view of the woods while you soak. There were plenty of clean towels and hand soap provided. There’s a large glass-block walk in shower as well. The beds were comfortable pillow top mattresses, and the AC window units in bedroom windows cooled things off nicely on the warm nights. There’s also a half-bath upstairs. The main living area has a comfortable sectional couch, and a large smart TV with Wi-Fi. There is also an awesome vintage pinball machine, and a juke box that plays 45’s. If you’re looking for a wooded secluded tranquil stay, this is the place for you. Once leaving the main Highway 10, you travel through rural farm land into rolling beautiful forests. Once you arrive, you’ll find the house situated not far off the road nestled tightly within the woods. This home is comfortably laid out with non-typical features of having a jute box, pin ball machine for entertainment as well as a wood pellet stove to warm up to. The queen bed was very comfortable. The ability to bring our Brittany along for the stay was also a bonus. If you’re planning on doing a lot of cooking beyond needing the basics of basics, bring your supplies. Evart has a really good grocery store if needed. For you trail enthusiasts, whether by foot or motorized, the surrounding state forest offers lots of opportunity to adventure.

We loved our weekend at the cabin. It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed to take a break from life. The cabin is beautiful and we loved walking in the woods. I loved drinking coffee off the back deck and breakfast at the booth seating with a nice view. Everyone I met in Evart and Reed city were so friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

This cozy cabin in the woods is exactly what we needed to melt away the stress of our busy lives. It's a roomy, quiet place on a hundred acres with a relaxing Jacuzzi tub and a warm fireplace for the cooler, romantic evenings. The owner had the air conditioning operational and the place was clean and well equipped. We stopped in at the local grocery store before we arrived and never left. Absolutely HIGHLY RECOMMEND this secluded cabin in the woods.

Nice cabin in the woods, overall pretty clean, cozy living room and comfortable beds. The pellet stove was nice to have since our summer vacation was more like a fall vacation weather-wise. Nice trail to enjoy the woods and explore the property. Some areas were a bit overgrown but that happens. Kitchen and breakfast nook were nice. Note to future renters, Strawberry Lake is just down the road but it is NOT open to the public. We had brought kayaks and were planning on exploring it but it is a private association lake. Only additional thing I would’ve really enjoyed at the house would be if the back porch was covered. Looks like it could possibly be a future add on but it would’ve been nice to be able to sit on the deck when the weather was rainy. Overall nice place. We would stay again and appreciate the opportunity to stay here with our family and dog. Thank you!
