Loved it. Cute and clean place. Great location to get around. If you are planning on cooking wouldn’t recommend it, just has a microwave and hot plate for cooking.

Quaint little house. Made for three, perfect for two. Very clean, very easy and close to magnolia properties. Would have like a stove, but adjusted to microwave easily. Decorated with bunnies, was so cute. Will stay here again, if I’m in the area. Thanks for letting us stay.

The heating system is not very efficient. The one in the bedroom goes on and off. This wasn’t good with the cold weather we had. We had no hot water the morning we left, so no showers!! We had an important meeting on our way to San Antonio and we were uncomfortable having not showered!

Clean cottage close to everything. Basic amenities provided but no added touches. TVs didn’t work and host never did respond during power outage.

Property is cute and was clean. Many negatives I feel I must list, unfortunately.Major thing was AC units are extremely obnoxious. I read a review prior that said they were loud, and I thought no big deal, I like white noise when I sleep…. Absolutely not. This was a loud mechanical noise coming from both units. Don’t stay here if you are a light sleeper or need silence when you sleep.Other things to note…. Beds are very, very uncomfortable and scratchy cheap sheets. Nespresso machine but no coffee pods supplied to make it. Plugs in part of bedroom not working, so not able to use the TV or fan in there. Nice and big bathroom but no shower supplies such as body wash/ soap. Also hot water went out quickly. This could have easily been a 4/5 star experience, but needs time to fix these issues.

3 of us stayed a couple of nights in this cute cottage. Beds were comfy, bathroom was awesome, kitchen fully outfitted. The full size fridge was great. There is no stove, but there is an induction hot plate for cooking, boiling and frying if needed. We really appreciated the nespresso machine. Being able to do laundry was a plus. Neighborhood is close to attractions and walking distance to a few restaurants and services. A car is best. The only negative is that the AC/heating units are extremely loud and we could not sleep with them in use. Other people have mentioned this, so we were prepared. Also, as others have noted, the space is perfect for two, and cosy for three.

The home was very clean and well decorated. You are unable to cook because a stove is unavailable but you can microwave some food. The host was very responsive and attentive. The neighborhood is not "transitional." It is an established Hispanic working class neighborhood and it is very safe and quiet. The proximity to downtown and points of interest is perfect.

Tiny, but good use of space.Reading light in living room would be nice.Daybed could use a mattress topper.TV service and availability very sketchy....no local channels...or if they were available, instructions on how to get normal cable TV stations. Husband went all weekend with NO FOOTBALL!!!Sketchy neighborhood and too close to bust freeway.BUT....overall nice place and very close to Baylor.

It worked for a place to stay, but needs improvement on climate control and front door screen replaced. The climate control debices are very noisey and makes sleep difficult. Otherwise inside done nicely but too crammed with furniture

It was extremely quiet, and it was very near good eating places and near our event. There wasn't soap or shampoo in bathroom but luckily, we always carry some and there wasn't real coffee. If we'd known this, we would have taken some. Otherwise, it was quaint and well thought out.

I would recommend this property. The bathtub is absolutely perfect. The home is updated but kept the old time charm. Hopefully the dead tree will be removed and I it would be nice to get a table outside. The shower head needs to be replaced and the water heater may need to be checked.

If you're like me when planning where to stay while traveling, I'm looking for something very affordable that's still nice, clean, comfortable and safe. Competition is tough so finding the right place can be like rolling the dice. Lindley's Little Gem exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is very important to me. I'd give this a 10 out of 10! Although this is a small one-bedroom, one-bath older home (cottage), it has a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, big walk-in shower, good thick towels and Meyer's Hand Soap. On the other hand, the living room and bedroom are a bit cramped with too many pieces of large furniture, which is nicely decorated and looks good but made the space feel cluttered. The bed is a gel foam mattress on a regular box spring (not a platform) so it's very soft and I sank in it. If you want a firm mattress, this isn't it. There's a TV in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a nice KitchenAide microwave and a Nespresso Machine with complimentary coffee pod flavors. Two small wall mounted A/C units cool the space well but they're noisy so I slept with sleep sounds playing on my phone. Lindley's is very close to the freeway, plenty of restaurants and the Silo's. The neighborhood is run down, which is the main negative but didn't make me feel unsafe. The place was adorably decorated, and it was close to Baylor which we needed. It was not in the best neighborhood. The master bedroom mattress needs replaced as it was sagging and not comfortable. The espresso machine did not work, and we called the shower a sprinkle, because while it was beautiful, it lacked water pressure.

Very cute place to stay. Very short drive to the silos. Neighborhood is old and ran down. At first, I didnt like it but no one bothered us. Bathroom is huge! The fan in the bedroom was a huge bonus. Looking to get one myself. I would stay again while traveling.

We just returned from a visit to this property and loved it. I have to compliment the owner - she has excellent taste and the furnishings were beautiful. This property had everything we needed. We had great communication with the owner and check in and out was a breeze. We had 3 people in our party so it was a little small but we were only there one night. This property would be great for a couple. Again I must compliment the owner on her taste and furnishings. It was a convenient location for visiting Magnolia. I was very pleased with our accommodations.

The home was very clean and well decorated. You are unable to cook because a stove is unavailable but you can microwave some food. The host was very responsive and attentive. The neighborhood is not "transitional." It is an established Hispanic working class neighborhood and it is very safe and quiet. The proximity to downtown and points of interest is perfect.

Very cute place to stay. Very short drive to the silos. Neighborhood is old and ran down. At first, I didnt like it but no one bothered us. Bathroom is huge! The fan in the bedroom was a huge bonus. Looking to get one myself. I would stay again while traveling.

The cottage was perfect for our stay in Waco. It's close to Magnolia and lots of restaurants. It's very quaint and has a lot of charm, if looking for a cozy place to stay.

Perfect size house for a weekend get-a-way for my mom and I. Had everything we needed on site and close location to the Silos. Only negatives were the highway noise and dark neighborhood (we arrived in late evening after the sun set).

Needed to be in Waco for a week to help my daughter with a large Baylor event. This was the perfect place - I LOVED the tub! It’s only a block from I-35 so could hear the interstate noise but not a deal breaker. I was there during a winter cold spell and the cottage was warm and cozy.There is no washer/dryer even though the listing says there is. The nespresso machine with the complimentary pods was a nice touch!

If you're like me when planning where to stay while traveling, I'm looking for something very affordable that's still nice, clean, comfortable and safe. Competition is tough so finding the right place can be like rolling the dice. Lindley's Little Gem exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness is very important to me. I'd give this a 10 out of 10! Although this is a small one-bedroom, one-bath older home (cottage), it has a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, big walk-in shower, good thick towels and Meyer's Hand Soap. On the other hand, the living room and bedroom are a bit cramped with too many pieces of large furniture, which is nicely decorated and looks good but made the space feel cluttered. The bed is a gel foam mattress on a regular box spring (not a platform) so it's very soft and I sank in it. If you want a firm mattress, this isn't it. There's a TV in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a nice KitchenAide microwave and a Nespresso Machine with complimentary coffee pod flavors. Two small wall mounted A/C units cool the space well but they're noisy so I slept with sleep sounds playing on my phone. Lindley's is very close to the freeway, plenty of restaurants and the Silo's. The neighborhood is run down, which is the main negative but didn't make me feel unsafe. Overall,this was affordable, comfortable and clean, convenient to everything I needed so I'd gladly stay here again. Thank you

Tiny, but good use of space.Reading light in living room would be nice.Daybed could use a mattress topper.TV service and availability very sketchy....no local channels...or if they were available, instructions on how to get normal cable TV stations. Husband went all weekend with NO FOOTBALL!!!Sketchy neighborhood and too close to bust freeway.BUT....overall nice place and very close to Baylor.

Very clean. That is my key factor when choosing a place to stay. Only appliance I used was the coffee maker. Host was easy to communicate with-I had a few questions & the reply was quick. Driving to “the silos” is more realistic vs walking. Don’t forget your shampoo & shower soap as that isn’t provide. Make reservations for Magnolia restaurant-it’s busy but good. Health Camp has great burgers!! The Dr Pepper Museum is good too.

Easy to find, clean, very handy to the silo’s Loved that there was washer/dryer available. We recommended the owner fix the heating and cooling unit in the front room of the house as it was very noisy, they responded that the matter would be corrected.
