There are no words to describe the beauty of the Trout Shack. Perfect and quaint, tucked away and private. We loved to use the hot tub in the evenings, all while listening to the river trickle by. We visited in late February, and the weather was amazing. Still snow everywhere, but not freezing cold. We got to meet Tracy and her dog, and talking with her felt like meeting with an old friend. We will most definitely be back! The cabin was well furnished with eveything we could have needed. Lastly, there is not an easier check-in and check-out process!!

Hiked the enchantments and landed at this gem feeling beaten up, cold and ready to relax and recover. It could not ha w been more perfect spending two day and nights at this cozy hideaway. Bed was incredibly comfortable, the hot tub was perfect and the outdoor River running all day and night was like music to our ears. More rustic than I had anticipated, but it was Al part of the charm. Very clean and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautifully situated on the river with a great swimming hole just feet away.. hammocks, lounge chairs, hot tub , BBQ, stars, privacy, just so serene.The cabin is a vintage beauty with modern comforts, air conditioning, everything you need at your fingertips.We were giddy our entire stay and couldn’t even leave to drive to the well stocked store just minutes away!Tracy and Jo are they friendliest most considerate hosts to be found.Definitely an unforgettable stay.

The cabin is wonderful and very clean with mod cons - even better than we expected based on the photographs. Being right on the river was fabulous, and the hot tub was new and very clean. We enjoyed eating our meals on the front porch while listening to the water flow by. The host went out of her way to offer us fun outdoor activities for our stay as well. Excellent rental! We highly recommend.

The Trout Shack was a wonderful respite from the craziness of a weekend wedding we were attending in the area. It's "cozy", but plenty of space and perfect for a couple. We enjoyed sitting by the river and can imagine how wonderful it would be during other seasons as well (we were there in June). We didn't use it, but the kitchen was well equipped. Tracy even had good coffee and filtered water to go with the Keurig combination k-cup/coffee maker. I loved spending some time reading on the porch daybed. The mosquito netting around it was wonderful! One night it was cool enough to turn on the gas fire on the porch. Such a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it.

We stayed at the Trout Cabin to celebrate my 41st birthday. My partner also surprised me and proposed to me on 8/8 in the luxurious hot tub. The Trout Cabin is equipped with all essentials you would need for your stay. The cabin is small; about 300 square feet and has a queen sized bed, which we found to be somewhat comfortable. The day bed, covered with a mosquito net was a lovely addition, and that’s where I decided to sleep for both nights. Several seated areas set up to enjoy the beautiful Wenatchee River, which was just low enough to safely body surf 🌊♥️🌊♥️ The Trout Cabin is close in proximity to Leavenworth and Plain, WA and the drive to/from is absolutely stunning. The check-in/out process is a breeze and because the cabin is so well equipped, we never had to reach out to the host Tracy for anything. The Trout Cabin is one of 3 or 4 cabins in the small area, however, the Trout Cabin is by far the coziest and closest to the river. I hope to be able to visit again next year and will be prepared to spend most of our time on the river, floating! If you stay between June-August, I would highly recommended to bring intertubes for floating and life jackets as well. You will not be disappointed!

Very well laid out and appointed home. Beautiful views and wonderful seating area's inside and out. Kitchen was so well laid out and the appliances were plentiful and nicely set up for use. Whole home was very clean and well cared for. All in all very pleased with the property and Ms. Tracey's understanding and friendly approach to our unique situation. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area, also recommed Squirrel Tree for dining out!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin was cleaned and well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. We spend most of the time outside enjoying the river. My boyfriend and I booked this for our Leavenworth anniversary trip and it exceeded expectations. Tucked away by the river, in the trees, it was so romantic and the views were gorgeous. This little cabin was beyond perfect in every way. Had all the amenities we needed, and then some! Very clean, very cute. We will 100% be back here. We were so impressed by everything about our stay. The cabin and property were a perfect mix of rustic charm and current amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed, and many details I'd not expected. We can't wait to come back in the summer and make better use of the adorable front porch and close proximity to the river. 5 stars all day long!

Enjoyed our stay. Be prepared if selecting this is a cabin that has been rehabbed not a modern place. One room. Its adorable but be prepared. The directions to this cabin were confusing and could be explained better. Otherwise loved our stay.

The Trout Shack exceeded our expectations!! It is such an adorable and romantic setting for a quick little getaway. Coffee on the porch was my favorite spot while I took in the sounds and views of the river. It is a short drive to Leavenworth and so much better than staying in a hotel! My favorite place to unwind from work so far this year!

Several seated areas set up to enjoy the beautiful Wenatchee River, which was just low enough to safely body surf 🌊♥️🌊♥️ The Trout Cabin is close in proximity to Leavenworth and Plain, WA and the drive to/from is absolutely stunning. The check-in/out process is a breeze and because the cabin is so well equipped, we never had to reach out to the host Tracy for anything. The Trout Cabin is one of 3 or 4 cabins in the small area, however, the Trout Cabin is by far the coziest and closest to the river. I hope to be able to visit again next year and will be prepared to spend most of our time on the river, floating! If you stay between June-August, I would highly recommended to bring intertubes for floating and life jackets as well. You will not be disappointed!
We stayed at the Trout Cabin to celebrate my 41st birthday. My partner also surprised me and proposed to me on 8/8 in the luxurious hot tub. The Trout Cabin is equipped with all essentials you would need for your stay. The cabin is small; about 300 square feet and has a queen sized bed, which we found to be somewhat comfortable. The day bed, covered with a mosquito net was a lovely addition, and that’s where I decided to sleep for both nights. There are no words to describe the beauty of the Trout Shack. Perfect and quaint, tucked away and private. We loved to use the hot tub in the evenings, all while listening to the river trickle by. We visited in late February, and the weather was amazing. Still snow everywhere, but not freezing cold. We got to meet Tracy and her dog, and talking with her felt like meeting with an old friend. We will most definitely be back! The cabin was well furnished with eveything we could have needed. Lastly, there is not an easier check-in and check-out process!!

We love the trout shack! We have stayed here before in the past and loved it. I was worried that we had built it up in our minds, but it was just as amazing this time around. There was a bit of communication confusion between booking with VRBO and the property management that needs to be ironed out, but that is such a small thing in an otherwise perfect weekend. Book the Trout Shack you won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed our stay. Be prepared if selecting this is a cabin that has been rehabbed not a modern place. One room. Its adorable but be prepared. The directions to this cabin were confusing and could be explained better. Otherwise loved our stay.

Could not have asked for a better stay! Property was clean and property manager thought of everything. Read a whole book by river; husband enjoyed the porch and hot tub. We will be back.

Trout shack was fabulous! Tracy is such a gracious and generous host! Truly she has thought of everything to provide for a comfortable stress free stay! Our pups also enjoyed the river and walking paths or just lounging by the cabin. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Tracy! What a great place ❤️

The Trout Shack was a wonderful respite from the craziness of a weekend wedding we were attending in the area. It's "cozy", but plenty of space and perfect for a couple. We enjoyed sitting by the river and can imagine how wonderful it would be during other seasons as well (we were there in June). We didn't use it, but the kitchen was well equipped. Tracy even had good coffee and filtered water to go with the Keurig combination k-cup/coffee maker. I loved spending some time reading on the porch daybed. The mosquito netting around it was wonderful! One night it was cool enough to turn on the gas fire on the porch. Such a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it.

Very well laid out and appointed home. Beautiful views and wonderful seating area's inside and out. Kitchen was so well laid out and the appliances were plentiful and nicely set up for use. Whole home was very clean and well cared for. All in all very pleased with the property and Ms. Tracey's understanding and friendly approach to our unique situation. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area, also recommed Squirrel Tree for dining out!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin was cleaned and well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. We spend most of the time outside enjoying the river. Hiked the enchantments and landed at this gem feeling beaten up, cold and ready to relax and recover. It could not ha w been more perfect spending two day and nights at this cozy hideaway. Bed was incredibly comfortable, the hot tub was perfect and the outdoor River running all day and night was like music to our ears. More rustic than I had anticipated, but it was Al part of the charm. Very clean and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again.

The Trout Shack exceeded our expectations!! It is such an adorable and romantic setting for a quick little getaway. Coffee on the porch was my favorite spot while I took in the sounds and views of the river. It is a short drive to Leavenworth and so much better than staying in a hotel! My favorite place to unwind from work so far this year!

My boyfriend and I booked this for our Leavenworth anniversary trip and it exceeded expectations. Tucked away by the river, in the trees, it was so romantic and the views were gorgeous. This little cabin was beyond perfect in every way. Had all the amenities we needed, and then some! Very clean, very cute. We will 100% be back here. Even though there is another property rental directly behind this unit, it remains a very private setting. Quiet not withstanding the beautiful songs of the Wenatche river so close to the cabin. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for preparing meals; the bed is very comfortable and the uniqueness of this historical cabin is very warm and inviting. the hot tub was a plus and the robes provided were appreciated. Dont plan to bring your fishing pole as i did, as fishing is not permitted in this area of the river. also, if you have dogs, do know that there is no secure place for them to run about and they must be on leash during your stay. check-in was straight forward.

We were cozy and comfy our entire stay!Bed is on the softer side and that was some of the nicest bedding I've ever slept on, downright luxurious. No pantry for dried goods but a well stocked coffee station, sharp knives, air fryer combo that has so many functions, and a lovely gas stove to cook on made this a great little kitchen to cook in. The grill outside is a giant flat top, we made the best steaks of our lives while taking in the views. I had a few questions throughout the stay and Tracy was quick to respond whenever I reached out.Our dogs loved lounging in front of the fireplace and we loved the giant hot tub!

Flipping gorgeous. Morning snow, winter wonderland, quiet, privacy, hot tub, warmth, excellent pillows, porch, all things working as they should. Is there a way to turn off the outdoor string lights? If so, maybe post those in view of the hot tub? But dang, this places is a little gem. We'll want to come back, for sure.

The cabin is wonderful and very clean with mod cons - even better than we expected based on the photographs. Being right on the river was fabulous, and the hot tub was new and very clean. We enjoyed eating our meals on the front porch while listening to the water flow by. The host went out of her way to offer us fun outdoor activities for our stay as well. Excellent rental! We highly recommend.
