Smoky Mountain home, sauna, hot tub, mtn views

This is a very large and comfortable home. The driveway is very steep and can be a little intimidating, but the view is absolutely worth it. We only noticed a few issues. The playroom doesn’t really have much to offer in working order so our kids didn’t really enjoy it like we thought they would. There were board games and puzzles scattered throughout the house, so the kids were able to enjoy that instead but some of those are outdated and missing things. Only one bed was problematic but we made it work regardless. The queen size bed upstairs is not terribly comfortable. It doesn’t feel very well supported and makes a lot of noise for every single tiny movement that you make on it. We had to go out and buy batteries for the ceiling fan remote. But none of those issues were severe enough for us to feel like we would not return. We definitely enjoyed this home enough to plan to return in the future.

House was beautiful, loved the sauna and hot tub. We were extremely comfortable, and there was everything we needed there. I only wish the check in process had been clearer, I did have to write several times to figure it out. Also, other reviews have mentioned the driveway - we thought our SUV would make it up, but we couldn't get all the way up. It was fine, we could walk, but just keep it in mind!

The place was very clean lot's of space. The home came with Board games, fool's ball amd ping pong table, tv's in main spaces not bedrooms, books to read, fire pit, grill, sauna, jacuzzi, washing machine, dryer, dish washer. The only problem was that dam steep hill!! Be forewarned it's super dark and no lights once you get into the are of the house. One of our cars couldn't make it up the hill at all. The other made it half way, but this was during the night where we couldn't see. Had to drive up backwards. Other than that the place is very very nice!!

The house is great, needs maintenance. I notified Vacasa that the hot tub was not working Friday, the local people said they would send someone out, they never arrived. I contacted Vacasa 2 other times to dispatch repair, no one called or showed up. Clothes dryer is broken, keypad for entry does not work. Last time I rent a vacasa property, the third time I’ve had issues with Vacasa.

Such a comfortable place overall , we did not find anything at all wrong with this place, deck up and downstairs, hot tub, sauna room, living room downstairs as well. Nice big kitchen with everything you need . Steep driveway but it wasn’t bad at all. Your close to town which was nice as well We will definitely look to stay here again

First of all, a first-rate view of the surrounding mountains . Plenty of accessories available for kitchen, sleeping, and bathing. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Groceries, nice parks especially for the kiddies, tubing and rafting close by, not to mention Biltmore and Cherokee

This property was mostly great. The views are spectacular and the layout and accommodations are fantastic. The surrounding area is really lovely with a lot of interesting options for day trips. There were a few important things that could use some work or were disappointing: - The grill did not work. This was actually a pretty big bummer as we spend a ton of time fixing a big 40th birthday dinner of burgers, kabobs etc., had it all ready to go, and then found that the grill was broken. We then spent a few hours trying to get it to work- switching out propane tanks. When I called the customer service line the gal was nice but ultimately just took note of it and didn't offer any kind of fix. - That brings me to the next item that was a bit off. The kitchen stove was awful to cook on. The temp control on the burners is rubbed off so it's a bit of a guess what level the burners are on. There is no hood so trying to cook the burgers on the skillet was an oil nightmare.There are not enough glasses for each person to have one at a time. I'm sure they get broken over time, so this is more a note that it's likely time to replace some. - The hot tub is also likely ready for a flush and refill. It smelled like seaweed/kelp. All of that is to say that if the above were fixed I would 100% rebook. This place is truly great but if you arrive and plan to use some of the accomodations that you are relying on (like the grill) check as soon as you arrive to make sure there is time to fix.

The starter/hotel sized shampoo/conditioner/soap was a great bonus. Would be 5 stars except for a few things- the driveway is VERY steep. It is paved, but would be impossible in ice/snow and dicey with rain. The true ‘log cabin-ness’ of the place includes wooden floors, walls, and ceilings. This is awesome, but not very sound proof- it was loud and if anyone was walking above your bedroom, you weren’t sleeping. Think Mast General Store floors. Small issues for an beautiful cabin. We’d likely stay there again- in the summer!

This home was super beautiful. the views were breathtaking. Everything we needed must conveniently located within the home? the only reason why I will not give this a 10 out of 10 is 1. the last quarter mile up to the house is very very steep. My husband drove his diesel 4x4 and we were actually spending some Wheels getting up the last quarter mile. 2. we were there for my son's 44th birthday. it was eight people within our party. reached out to let them know the dishwasher was not working and had standing water in the dishwasher for some time because it really did have a bad smell. No one ever came out to fix it.. So kind of a bummer having to clean up dishes after cooking for 8 guest. Hot tub was fabulous. outdoor fire pit fabulous! besides those two things, this was a really beautiful home.

The cabin was beautiful but we did run into some problems. The fireplace wouldn’t work. I don’t know if it was out of gas. The hot tub wouldn’t work as far as bubbles. It finally started to warm up but if you turned on the bubbles the whole thing would shut off and you have to use the electrical box. The biggest issue was there wasn’t any indication that going up the driveway should be a problem except in snowy or ice conditions. I drive a Hyundai Sonata and my friends drive a jeep cherokee (with brand new tires) and a Honda accord v6. The Honda got stuck halfway up and was sliding in place on the wet pavement due to how steep it is. She had to go back to the bottom and speed up it to have enough momentum. The jeep also slipped but made it up a little easier, but you could smell the burning rubber. Then I couldn’t get mine up to the top and was sliding side to side and have to go back down and drive up in reverse. It is a long steep driveway so it was dangerous. Every time Before we left the house we had to use the shovel in the garage all of the way down the driveway to move leaves out of the way, but even without leaves it was like I’ve and it’s you could barely walk up and down without falling on your butt. Also, the electronic locks battery was dead and we didn’t have the code for the lock box. Hurricane Helene came through so we were left without internet or cell service so contacting support was near impossible and I had to rely on satellites to sneak messages out. Aside from the little inconveniences and not being able to utilize the hot tub and fireplace, which was pretty disappointing, it was a beautiful house with a beautiful view and lots of comfy beds for everyone

The home has a beautiful view from the front porch. It is close to town for shopping. There were ladybugs and stink bugs everywhere in the house. They were getting in somewhere. No screens on many upstairs windows. We called the management company for help with that and to let them know there was no coffee maker. They said someone would come by to bring one and see about the bugs. No one ever came and no one ever checked back in with us. We bought our own coffee maker and cleaned out bugs all weekend.

Gorgeous house with gorgeous views. Very clean, spacious, well stocked. We would definitely go again, however with a 4 wheel drive vehicle only. Our mini van stuggled to get up the driveway.

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view. The only negative we have to say is the driveway...once you are used to it, its not bad but the initial drive up was very hard even with 4wd. Other than that the house was very clean, well stocked with toiletries & plenty of room for everyone!

The master bedroom door was standing open when we arrived, when going through the house to be sure there wasnt an intruder, the door and frame to the closet falls off, then we go to use the hot tub, it doesn't work. Then we try the sauna, nope, it doesn't work. Then we go to bed, the TV in the master doesn't work. The house was nasty. Hair clouds all over, dust all over, a toenail on my bed side table. Very unhappy. Hoping to be refunded because this is awful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Smoky Mountain National Park and all the great little towns around Sylva. Wonderful views from both levels of the deck. Very quiet neighborhood. Cabin was very clean with nice amenities.

We enjoyed our stay at Altitude with Attitude. House was clean, overall. I just wish windows, fans and under couches were a concern to homeowners. Looking out the windows at that beautiful view would be so much better if dirt wasn’t all in the corners of the windows. Good amenities, good space, great view!

We had an amazing time with the whole family. The place was incredibly clean, well prepped and stocked with all the necessities. Communication with the host was excellent! But nothing compares to the views. 10/10 we had the best experience. Thank you!

We had an absolute blast at this cabin!!!! It is extremely spacious with 3 levels. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 out of 5 is the heel you gave to drive up to get to the cabin but we got use to it after a few times lol.

The driveway was an adventure, steep but you've just gotta commit and go for it!! All wheel drive vehicles did best but front wheel drive did fine. Everyone in the group absolutely loved the house and talked about going back!! The porch was the best for spending time together and enjoying the view. Plenty of room for a large group not to feel cramped.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful waterfalls and relaxing in the very comfortable and roomy "Altitude with Attitude" mountain home! The beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked with essential cooking items. the check-in process and check-out process was simple. Lovely towns of Sylva and Dillsboro were perfect - got nails down and hiked and played games. A Great place for us - thank you for your hospitality.

Best panoramic view ever!

Absolutely loved the cabin and the amenities offered. The privacy for our three couples was great but had awesome fun in the common areas. We grilled, enjoyed the balcony and fire pit. We would suggest a Keurig and new mattress for the king bed. Everything else was top-notch! Would definitely refer and may very well be back!

The lodge was awesome! Plenty of room for everyone. Only problem was the driveway. We expected narrow one lane winding roads but getting up hill to park was a challenge. We were a group of seniors & the stairs to the basement & upstairs were tricky. (Only due to our age) i highly recommend this lodge to the tounger generation. The beds were extremely comfortable. Cant mention enough about the Mountain views.

This property is amazing and secluded at the top of the mountain. It is very clean and has beautiful views. We loved spending time on the the awesome deck with our group of six. The house has plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable. We had two minor issues. The smart lock was not working when we arrived and had to call Vacasa to get in with lockbox. We ended up using lockbox for the entire 7 days. Also, for a stay of 7 days, there is not enough provided items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc.. and we had to make several stops to stock up. Other than these minor details this home was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Love the views! The key pad lock needs some attention as took us after initial arrive over 5 attempts to get in. Called number and left on hold 15 min but it finally worked and realized just have to make sure each digit the green light MUST appear. Just kinda worn down.

Went there for the 10th anniversary and they completely ruined it, here’s how - 1. Code for the lock did not work, had to wait 30 minutes for the master key. 2. Hot tub didn’t work, called 3 times to fix, they promised to send someone but nobody showed up.

The home was wonderful for our son's wedding. Incredible views. The road to the house is extremely windy, and the driveway is treacherous. Do not plan on walking up the driveway either. I'd hesitate to visit in wet, leafy, or certainly snowy weather. Very very steep. Other than that, wonderful.

Secluded, and wonderfully cared for property with an amazing view.

The condo itself was wonderful a very spacious very clean and well-equipped. We were not informed until the day before we were to arrive it had an extreme, I mean extreme 18 grade to get up the driveway. In the instructions I received 24 hours before arrival i was told not suitable for motorcycles and car should have four wheel drive. We are retired gentleman out to enjoy the beautiful mountains. Trying to get up the driveway two of our motorcycles fell over on their sides. Because of the extreme terrain I would not recommend this property to most people. Everyone should be warned in advance of the condition. Too bad because it's a beautiful place.
