We stayed with our two 20 something year old kids. Our plans included hiking, catamaran cruises, helicopter tour, shopping and dining. The location was convenient for grocery shopping and some delicious food stands and farmers market. The view from the place was great. The building was quiet. Gym was clean and user friendly. I would give it a 4 1/2 If possible because it wasn’t quite comfortable for 4. There weren’t enough beach towels for everyone and only having a couch in the family room made hanging out a little uncomfortable. The beds and bathroom door in 2 nd room is a little tight. But overall great for location comfy beds good showers and beautiful sunrise. A rough beach so don’t stay here if you just want to swim in the ocean.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Excellent location across from grocery and within walking to a number of food options. Easy commute to either north or south/west sides. The grounds are beautiful. Family-friendly pool and hot tubs with sand bottoms. No check-in desk. Unit was well stocked and included beach accessories including beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels and cooler. Communication with manager was delayed and frustrating our last two days as we were trying for a late stay and they weren't able to get ahold of cleaning crew. This made for an awkward last two days awaiting response from manager who was responsive early in the trip. This unit's location was great for us being so close to both the parking lot and pool.

Beautiful condo that made us feel so at home. We really appreciated the opportunity to cook and do laundry in the middle of our trip to Hawaii and the pool/landscaping were absolutely stunning! The pool/waterslides were one of my favorite parts of the trip. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the condo was so spacious. Easy to drive to places we wanted to visit and hosts were very communicative. Thanks for a great stay!

Third time staying in Kauai but first time in a condo and have to say it was a great decision. Besides the money we saved in breakfast and lunch in the room the centralized location made it easy to get everywhere other than the road construction traffic. My only complaint was the pool was not heated and in January it was ice cold. It’s a shame as I really wanted to swim versus only use the hot tubs. Would strongly suggest the complex invest in a pool heater for the winter months.

We had a great time! The resort was centrally located so we never felt like we had to drive far. At time the ocean at the resort was calm enough that we could get in. The only issue we had was my daughter and her fiancé.got stuck on the elevator for amount an hour and we had to call the fire department. The resort quickly fixed the elevator and had it working by the next morning.

Wonderful view, clean unit, and quiet. It was great having a full sized washer and dryer, as most places have mini ones. Nice pool and restaurant with a great view. The furniture could be updated. Master shower was very small, even though bathroom itself was huge. Overall it was a great stay, thank you!

The condo was comfortable and almost next to a pool entrance and BBQ facilties which was great. We might suggest for future guest increased enjoyment, that the CFL bulbs be replaced with LED's as the brighter light (as in the main bath) would be great. Two more cereal/soup bowls, plastic glasses for pool use, and can cozy's would be appreciated by future guests. There are no instructions foir the TV soundbar and we had to disconnect it at its power-in connection to listen without two delayed audio tracts. The standing lamp in the bedroom is non-working needing repair. A reference to the computer room should be included in the rental info. All in all, it was well furnished and comfortable, and we would stay again.

The location of the resort is fantastic. The unit has a strong mildew/mold smell. We had to air the unit out when in the room. The unit has excellent supplies and beach toys. The trip was great, but I'm not sure we'd stay in this room again.

It was a great place and stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the place has been maintained so well. It was clean, and the amenities were greatly appreciated. It’s nice being right next to a a beach too.

This is the 2nd time to stay at Waipouli Resort because the location is wonderful. However, this unit was a bit disappointing. The “lanai” faces the parking lot. The kitchen and bathroom were clean, however, the furniture was very dusty, the air conditioner was very loud and the dryer made a terrible noise.

I was hesitant to pay the extra money for G404 but it met our expectations and beyond! We did too much around the island to enjoy the pool. We also didn’t eat at the restaurant so unable to review the food, but it looked good!

This unit is clean, well stocked, conveniently located and was a great place for our family vacation. They even had a futon that my son was able to sleep on the floor, huge bonus as I gave our four kids, some bedspace. My husband and I both agreed that this might be one of the nicest rentals we’ve stayed at in Hawaii, and over the last month we’ve been in four other rentals. Their starter package was more than enough to get us through the week that we were there, and we eat in unit quite a bit. Everything was extremely clean and well cared for, we had ABSOLUTELY NO issues with gnats, bugs, cockroaches, or geckos, AS WE HAVE IN OTHER HAWAIIAN RENTALS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL AND WOULD DEFINITELY RENT THERE AGAIN.

We booked this property so we could easily access both the south and north shore. The unit was clean and well taken care of. I think it could use some decor upgrades to lighten it up and make it more "beach" airy. It was little dark and old fashion. However, that is a personal aesthetic opinion. The size of the unit was very functional for a family. The pool was very nice to have for the kids after a day at the beach, the slides were a huge bonus. The gym was a nice size and had the right equipment to get a quick workout in. It was great to have a grocery store across the street. If you are looking for lots of beach and more of a "resort" feel, this isn't the same as the Grand Hyatt or places like that. But, that wasn't important to us as we planned to not be on the property much, rather out exploring. Overall, we would recommend it for anyone looking for a central location to stay while on vacation.

The unit was clean, had updated kitchen appliances and ample kitchen accessories and dishes to feel right at home! The only negative was the wifi connection as I was working remotely and WiFi would completely drop off. In the handbook and said we could reset the router but after searching then contacting the property mgmt contact, we were told the Wifi is shared with the resort, which was very obvious because I would have a full signal when we hot tubed at night. I would strongly recommend the unit getting it's own Wifi vs. using the resorts. Everything else exceeded expectations though and will be recommending to friends and family!

This condo had an excellent beach location with unobstructed ocean views from every room (and breathtaking sunrises every morning)! The kitchen was well-appointed and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The pool and restaurant on the property were wonderful additions to our stay. The beach was quiet; the sand was soft and the waves were gentle however there is a lot of rocky coral immediately beyond the beach so you may want to bring water shoes if you plan to swim. There is a 24-hour grocery store directly across the street that had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property for other families looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

We stayed with our two 20 something year old kids. Our plans included hiking, catamaran cruises, helicopter tour, shopping and dining. The location was convenient for grocery shopping and some delicious food stands and farmers market. The view from the place was great. The building was quiet. Gym was clean and user friendly. I would give it a 4 1/2 If possible because it wasn’t quite comfortable for 4. There weren’t enough beach towels for everyone and only having a couch in the family room made hanging out a little uncomfortable. The beds and bathroom door in 2 nd room is a little tight. But overall great for location comfy beds good showers and beautiful sunrise. A rough beach so don’t stay here if you just want to swim in the ocean.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Beautiful condo that made us feel so at home. We really appreciated the opportunity to cook and do laundry in the middle of our trip to Hawaii and the pool/landscaping were absolutely stunning! The pool/waterslides were one of my favorite parts of the trip. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the condo was so spacious. Easy to drive to places we wanted to visit and hosts were very communicative. Thanks for a great stay!

It is a gorgeous setting with top-notch accommodations. The apartment is very well-appointed - it has everything you need. The location is perfect for taking day trips throughout the island as it's centrally located. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and the food is GREAT. There are so many exciting excursions to take advantage of, and they are easy to get to. The views of the ocean are spectacular from each of the rooms, and the fresh air is amazing. This apartment offers a sunrise view.

We stayed for 8 days during spring break, the view is phenomenal! The condo is nice but a few little things kept it from 5 stars. The shower was clogged when we got there but the management company was amazing and fixed it within hours of us calling! The king bed is very hard, and I prefer a firm mattress, but I woke up with my hips and back hurting everyday. The sliding glass door in the main room is very difficult to open all the way and the screens on all the sliding doors are ripped and the parts that aren’t ripped are difficult to see through. There is beach equipment for use, which is so convenient, but the umbrella is broken beyond use and the ties that keep the chairs closed during transport are gone causing the chairs to open while carrying them. I would definitely stay here again but these are some of the little picky things that lost it a star for me.

Wonderful view, clean unit, and quiet. It was great having a full sized washer and dryer, as most places have mini ones. Nice pool and restaurant with a great view. The furniture could be updated. Master shower was very small, even though bathroom itself was huge. Overall it was a great stay, thank you!

The property was beautiful and the pool was great! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. It was a short walk out to the beach and there were lounge chairs to relax on. There was an issue with the keypad on the front door The code they gave us did not work so we called and Jeremy gave us a new code that worked. Jeremy was very helpful and resolved the issue. Mahalo Jeremy!

Jeremy was quick to respond to our call for help when the battery pack on the door died and would not respond to the entry code. The condo was clean, comfortable and cozy. Whatever we needed for comfort and cooking was readily available. Would love to come back when the weather is better. February is apparently not a good month to visit. Overall, the condo was all we could ask for and more. Special thanks to Jeremy for great communication throughout the whole process from... booking to departure.

The place is absolute incredible with breathtaking views. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary so we had an abundance of space which is priceless since we never have more than a few inches of space when we are home with our toddler boys. I truly don’t understand how anyone could give less than 5 stars staying here, it is the nicest place my wife and I have ever stayed and probably ever will. The ocean views are straight out of a movie or dream. Only constructive feedback I would give is there wasn’t any personal touch from the management company, we felt like a number not a guest from a private owner of the property. Maybe it’s the new reality of VRBO as my wife and I don’t get to travel much but we were just accustomed to previous stays where the owners sending us the check in instructions a couple days prior, not two months which went to my junk mail so we were waiting at the property for two hours before we got into our room on the 4th of July. Also there was no flexibility on a late check out, even an hour. Overall, still an amazing property, highly recommend. Just for my wife and I in the future, we will stay away from management company’s with lots of multiple properties owned to avoid feeling like this again, just a number and not a valued guest in their own home. Mahola!

Property was as advertised. Issue with code was quickly resolved (good communication). Overall the stay was really nice on a beautiful property. Kristen was very accommodating with our late check out which we understand is a case by case basis but we were grateful it worked out for us as we didn’t fly out until a late red eye.

Excellent location across from grocery and within walking to a number of food options. Easy commute to either north or south/west sides. The grounds are beautiful. Family-friendly pool and hot tubs with sand bottoms. No check-in desk. Unit was well stocked and included beach accessories including beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels and cooler. Communication with manager was delayed and frustrating our last two days as we were trying for a late stay and they weren't able to get ahold of cleaning crew. This made for an awkward last two days awaiting response from manager who was responsive early in the trip. This unit's location was great for us being so close to both the parking lot and pool.

This condo had an excellent beach location with unobstructed ocean views from every room (and breathtaking sunrises every morning)! The kitchen was well-appointed and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The pool and restaurant on the property were wonderful additions to our stay. The beach was quiet; the sand was soft and the waves were gentle however there is a lot of rocky coral immediately beyond the beach so you may want to bring water shoes if you plan to swim. There is a 24-hour grocery store directly across the street that had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property for other families looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

Great location. Right across the street from Safeway, and short drive to kapaa town and about 45 minute to an hour drive to the north shore beaches which are awesome. Room did not have an ocean view, but we were a 50 yard walk from the beach and 20 yard walk to the pool. Check in/checkout was very easy. Condo was clean and had what we needed for cooking and even had some beach gear to use.

We loved the location that made it easy to visit north and south sides of the island. The property is beautiful, fully stocked kitchen and great bathroom--shower head was a great plus after a day at the beach. The decor is a little outdated and it would be nice to have more comfortable seating both inside and outside. The property has a great pool, restaurant and plenty of beach chairs. It wasn't crowded and for a a property with a lot of units, it was quiet. Grocery store, ice cream and shave ice places right across the street and plenty of restaurants within a short drive away.

The best part is the view--close to the ocean and with three sets of sliding doors you can see it from everywhere in the unit. It was immaculate and beautiful. It had all that you needed for a great vacation. The pool with the lazy river was relaxing. Complex was across the street from the complex. The restaurant on the beach had great food and atmosphere was romantic.FYI. The tv in living room may be going out. Screen is dark half way. Did not take away from lovely place.

The property has lots to offer with its beautiful views and convenient location to restaurants, activities, and shops. Our sons enjoyed the pool, beach and being to walk to a lot of great restaurants. There’s one of the best shave ice shops right across the street. Our property was very clean and comfortable. The views were worth the trip.

I have never left a bad review before there has been a few I could’ve, but didn’t. The condo had a wonderful view, but the management company is neglectful. We got there at 6 o’clock in the evening to find out that the elevator to our unit was down, we were on the fourth floor. I picked this resort because my husband is 89 and Walker dependent. It was advertised as a wheelchair accessible with elevator. Then we noticed in the letter on the elevator it had been down since April 1 and still out when we left June 23. When I called I was told we had to walk down two flights of stairs over two buildings to take an elevator down one floor. They also said they could go to the store for us in, instead of offering us a different unit. So for two weeks, we paid 12,000 to stay in our unit. We could not enjoy any of the resort. Today we received a refund check of 741.95, which we feel is insufficient for what we went through. Does this management really care about disabled! In my opinion, this is a violation of ADA and a breach of contract.

Beautiful condo. It was clean and just as described. Great views! The property was amazing. I will definitely stay here again!The only thing that would have been better was if my family was aware of the elevator not working. Taking our family of 6 luggage up the stairs was quite a hassle.

This property works well if you want to be able to visit the north and south parts of the island without switching locations. If you have younger kids they will love the pool area. Beds are comfortable, grocery store is very close, lots of nearby restaurants.
