House was clean and nicely remodeled. Balconies off the bedroom and living room with a view of the lake. I did not see in the listing that the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. Wasn’t a problem for us, but could be for some who can’t go up stairs. Owner responded very quickly to our questions. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice house close to my daughter’s place making it super convenient for us to come and go. House was clean and had plenty of supplies. Good sized kitchen and king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the electric fireplace and the dual carafe/Keurig machine. TV had tons of channels and there was great wifi service. Stairs may be a bit difficult for some given the only bathroom is upstairs and it’s a bit cramped. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking space for our F250, pretty yard and view. Taylor was super responsive and access to the house was seamless. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay was without incident. Very comfortable accommodations with all that we needed. Great location as well. We loved the outdoor pellet grill. We didn’t spend much time in the house as we were exploring the beautiful upper peninsula, but the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and the kitchen was an accommodating as well. We appreciated being able to bring our dog too. Communication was great, and we were given an opportunity to check in early if needed. overall everything was awesome. Would definitely stay again!

We had difficulty getting up the hill behind the house to park due to the weather. Taylor was very responsive and we eventually were able to get up there. The house was clean and very accommodating. Will definitely try and be back in the warmer months!

Lovely little house! Well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels, and other amenities. The little outdoor propane fireplace was a huge bonus. The house was clean and the King bed was very comfy! We will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area. My only complaint is that almost all the lighting in the house was cold bright light. The lamp in the living room was the only warm soft light.

This house was perfect for our Labor Day Weekend stay! We were looking for a good base for day trips to waterfalls and hiking, and this worked out very well. The house is easy to find, and the host did a good job of communicating. The house has been nicely remodeled, and the brand new refrigerator was installed the day we arrived. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was a very hot weekend and we were happy there was an AC unit in the bedroom. The lower half of the house stayed fairly cool with the ceiling fans on. The only bathroom is upstairs, and is pretty small, but worked fine for what we needed. This would not be a great house for anyone with mobility issues (the stairs are fairly steep and narrow too), but was fine for us (a fairly active couple in our 50's). My husband loved cooking on the newer grill on the back deck, and we both enjoyed unwinding on the porch after dinner, then watching a few of our shows on the smart TV in the living room. The driveway/parking spot is up a steep hill behind the house, but once we got the hang of turning around up there it worked well. I would highly recommend this house if you're looking for something in the area - we would definitely stay here again.

The house meet every need that we had. We weren't there long enough to really have anything to complain about. We were out exploring the UP. The only thing I would say is just stay on top of the lawn. I know he said they mow on Tuesdays but it needed tons or weeding done. Also some of the wooden stairs were lose and that could cause someone to get hurt. The home was really warm when we got there but the bedroom was cooled by a portable AC unit. Which was fine and we were able to sleep comfortably. Other than that, the place was great. I would totally stay there again.

The view from the house was lovely. I could see the water from the front of the house.The home's appliance worked well and I was able to make meals like I was at home. Air conditioning in the main/only bedroom was nice. It stayed cool when I was there and only used it because I could not open the slider at night. There was good communication with the host.

We were happy to be able to bring our dog with us on our trip. The home was as described. It is older, with some updates, like the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has an A/C unit, but that was the only room. Thankfully it wasn't too hot during our stay. The host was very good about communicating with us.

House was cute, air conditioning in upstairs room worked great. Pack n play fit in closet in bedroom, there was a curtain for door so we left it open. Thankfully we had a box fan because other than the room that had ac unit the house was hot! About 20 mins from NMU. Lake view, however not a lake to swim in. Not handicap friendly, about 10 small steps down to get to house, tough for my mom and only bathroom is up steep stairs. It was fine for me and my daughter but hard for elderly.

The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was a very hot weekend and we were happy there was an AC unit in the bedroom. The lower half of the house stayed fairly cool with the ceiling fans on. The only bathroom is upstairs, and is pretty small, but worked fine for what we needed. This would not be a great house for anyone with mobility issues (the stairs are fairly steep and narrow too), but was fine for us (a fairly active couple in our 50's). My husband loved cooking on the newer grill on the back deck, and we both enjoyed unwinding on the porch after dinner, then watching a few of our shows on the smart TV in the living room. The driveway/parking spot is up a steep hill behind the house, but once we got the hang of turning around up there it worked well. I would highly recommend this house if you're looking for something in the area - we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice old home. Well kept and easy to access. The host was very quick to respond when we were having issues with the app and entry password. ATT is not the best phone service for this area. Highly recommend this home.

Nice house close to my daughter’s place making it super convenient for us to come and go. House was clean and had plenty of supplies. Good sized kitchen and king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the electric fireplace and the dual carafe/Keurig machine. TV had tons of channels and there was great wifi service. Stairs may be a bit difficult for some given the only bathroom is upstairs and it’s a bit cramped. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking space for our F250, pretty yard and view. Taylor was super responsive and access to the house was seamless. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was a nice little house situation atop a hill overlooking a beautiful lake. There is a nice park as well as many trails nearby. The yard is not fully enclosed but felt private and had enough room for our dogs to stretch their legs. My only gripe was that the pot coffee maker made weak coffee and the single serve wouldn’t work so I ended up purchasing a moka pot to ensure I could make a decent cup in the mornings. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and had mostly everything we needed. We especially loved the antique stores in downtown Ishpeming and all the awesome trails for hiking and biking nearby. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice little place tucked in a quiet area. Easy to get to, but not in a busy section of town. Very clean and had all the things it said it would. I would stay again without hesitation.

Host was very responsive. Sleeping arrangements we a bit cramped because the pull out couch was dirty and the kids had to sleep together on the bed upstairs. Otherwise things went smoothly and we were all reasonably comfortable. Plenty of extra pillows, sheets, blankets and linens.

The place was very clean and everything worked properly. The kitchen was well-appointed. The driveway was very hard to access and gave us problems - especially in the winter. The 2nd "office" bedroom has no door - it is just a bed in an alcove, and the only bathroom is upstairs. Not sure this is clear from the description of the place.
