Parking very difficult

Overall it was fine, conveniently located, clean and staff was nice. I saw there was parking available when I booked, but I did not see it had to be reserved in advance; there are only 3 spaces, so we had to pay for parking a few blocks away.

This is advertised as Upscale adults-only hotel, it’s not … There are high chairs in the dining room. We only saw 1 baby in our 4 nights here but it’s not adults only. As most people have already stated it’s a great location, very clean and good size rooms with lovely balcony, breakfast was much better than I expected very nice, a bit of everything. I wouldn’t say the staff are rude but not over friendly/ helpful With Expedia you get 18 euro off food and drink we had to ask for this as it was not discussed at check in, and a plate of Chorizo and cheese came with a glass of some kind of alcoholic beverage… my husband drank it he said it was ok 👍 you don’t get to choose what you spend the 18 euros on. We asked could we wait on the rooftop terrace as our room wasn’t ready - it’s no longer there 😩 The night before we left we asked for a wake up call as we had an early flight, that didn’t happen, when we were leaving the chap on reception looked like he was having a nap himself 😂 Overall it was a great trip visiting one of our favourite places 😊

nous avions choisi cet hotel pour son soi-disant parking privé qui est en fait un terrain vague, à 10mn à pied gardé mais pas la nuit à 28 euros la nuit!! pas possible de prendre le petit-déjeuner avant de partir car ouvre à 8h. chambre sur rue très bruyante et peu d'insonorisation avec les voisins (quand vous tombez sur les Russes...)

The Hotel is comfortable and in a good location. A few minutes walk gets you to the beach, local eats around the corner, a market and a pharmacy nearby. There is no Parking…it says there is parking, but the street parking in front of the hotel is not long term. The problem with this Hotel is that there is no one at the facility and contact to customer service is through wassap and Ai…checking in was a pain, you have to do all of it online (they should provide a temp code to get into the hotel) and to make matters worse, they had a system glitch where everyone was locked out of the Hotel and the rooms. I get they are trying to go full tech; but when stuff goes wrong you have to have someone available. The cleaning crew could not help because they are forbidden and everything is being recorded. This is a Hotel being ran like an Air B n B

Me gusta cama comoda, centrico y limpio. Negativo Parking muy caro 28e dia y opciones de aparcar cerca en otros parking mas economicos. No tiene piscina en el mismo edificio, si en uno cercano.

Clean rooms, no service personnel at reception except a virtual check in using devices at the desk in the lobby. Restaurant was not open but in the near vicinity there are several restaurants.

Tienen que darle una vuelta de tuerca al sistema de check in, no hay recepción y todo se hace con el móvil. Me enviaron un primer código para entrar al hotel y no era correcto, en la entrada éramos varios clientes con el mismo problema y con cara de tontos sin poder acceder. Por otro lado me gustaría advertir que las habitaciones de la cuarta planta a priori las mas caras presentan un problema de ruido por la noche debido a la maquinaria de los ascensores y diferentes aparatos de la cubierta del edificio que está justo encima. Advertir también que lo que ellos llaman piscina está fuera de servicio.

El personal ha sido lo único maravilloso del hotel. Todos y cada uno de ellos nos han atendido con una gran sonrisa en la cara. Intentamos reservar una de las plazas de parking de las que dispone el hotel días antes de nuestra llegada, pero nadie nos atendió al mensaje. Por lo que, a nuestra llegada, tuvimos que buscarnos la vida para aparcar nuestro vehículo (cosa que nos costó horrores). La entrada a la habitación fue espectacular. Nos recibieron con la cama llena de pétalos de rosa y bombones en la cama... Pero todo fue yendo cuesta abajo: habitación en la que era imposible estar, ya que hacía un calor horrible, pues no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. Al llegar al baño, me encuentronun restregón de caca, supongo que de los anteriores huéspedes. La bañera de hidromasaje todo bien, pero lo que debía ser una ducha relajante, también con hidromasaje... No funcionaba ninguno de los chorros. Pasar la noche fue duro con el calor y la almohada tan bajita y blanda. Desayuno de buffet justito. Todo estaba bueno, pero apenas tenías variedad a la hora de elegir. Quiero insistir en la amabilidad de todos los trabajadores, creo que fue lo único perfecto. Creo que no nos volveríamos a alojar en este hotel.

Wir haben dort 4 Nächte verbracht. Wir mussten nachts das Zimmer wechseln, da die Klimaanlage defekt war und Wasser aus der Klimaanlage lief. In beiden Zimmern Schimmel im Bad. Im ersten Zimmer auch im Schlafzimmer. Lampen am Bett bei beiden Zimmern defekt. Im ersten Zimmer Duschkopf extrem dreckig. Frühstück für denn Preis viel zu teuer. Kleine Auswahl, bei uns hat die Kaffeemaschine nicht richtig funktioniert. Bett war sehr unbequem.

Las habitaciones eran muy limpias y espaciosas y los baños contaban con todas las instalaciones necesarias. El desayuno ofrecía una buena variedad de opciones. El personal fue muy amable. Excelente option calidad - precio!

La habitacion era amplia, tenia balcon y estaba muy limpia. La cama era cómoda. Todo bien!!

L'hotel està en un bon lloc del poble. L'aparcament és difícil per la zona i per tot el poble la veritat. La nostra habitació inicial feia molta podor a tabac, vam haver de demanar que ens canviessin la segona nit perquè era intolerable, especial per a no fumadors. El bufet d'esmorzar molt complert o el personal fantàstic.

We asked could we wait on the rooftop terrace as our room wasn’t ready - it’s no longer there 😩 The night before we left we asked for a wake up call as we had an early flight, that didn’t happen, when we were leaving the chap on reception looked like he was having a nap himself 😂 Overall it was a great trip visiting one of our favourite places 😊

Great location, large room, check in was a bit complicated but other then that we had a great stay

The hotelroom is big and spacious. Tou can see green mountains fromnthe windows. There was a strong smell of detergent and cleaning materials so for alergic people it could be a challenge. Other than that the hotel is placed only two blocks from the bus station and a few blocks from the sea. The street is very lively and offers abundance of options. There is a supermarket right infront and a beautiful walkable path.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and went the extra mile to assist in answering any questions we had.

The virtual check in was a mess. First off you can only enter the lobby of the hotel with a code at the door. If you have not checked in you do not have a code. We had to wait for someone to leave the lobby and walk in while the door was open. We had issues with the check in and since it was virtual we had to call and message via WhatsApp as directed on the signs in the lobby next to the iPad to check in. No one responded via WhatsApp or answered when we called the number. We ended up hunting down a maid who did her best to help. If not for her I do not know if we would have been able to get checked in. If we would have come after the maids left we would have been in a bind. The messages sent on whatsapp were never replied to. The money they saved by not staffing the lobby made this a place we will never visit again.

El alojamiento está bien. Nuevo y bien ubicado. El recepcionista no ha sido muy amable. Tampoco nos aceptaron el crédito de usuarios VIP de Hoteles.com que dice en la página y se confirma al reservar. En la recepción del desayuno, el hombre que recibe es bastante desagradable y maleducado. Me atendió de muy mala manera cuando le solicité un poco de agua caliiente.

Worst check-in ever.

Great location close to everything. Clean and friendly!

The room was fine, very clean, we weren't in the room much. The hotel is 5-10 minute walk to the beach but it was nice that it wasn't right in the hustle and bustle of the night lift and busy restaurant areas. Breakfast was great; so many fresh options! I would recommend this to a friend.

Clean spaces and room, staff was amazing, 5mins from the bus stations and 8mins from the beach.

This was a great hotel! Friendly staff and you cannot beat the location- right across from a grocery store and a ten minute walk to the beach that has the castle! Price was super competitive for the area as well. Highly recommend.

Está bien, muy bien ubicado en una calle llena de tiendas que va derecha s la playa. Solo que las habitaciones no parecen de un hotel de 4 estrellas sino máximo de 3.

Très beau et bon séjour à Tossa De Mar en Espagne, nous sommes ravis de l'hôtel Vila de Tossa. Excellent buffet de petits déjeuner, copieux et pour tout les goûts. Rapport qualité prix beaucoup moins cher qu'en France. Chien 🐕 accepté et en plus ils offrent une boîte de pâté. Par contre commerce et restauration extérieur est devenue plus chère et de moins bonnes qualités qu'en France. Nous avons des marchés avec le même type de fringues moitié moins chère.

Booked this holiday really last minute without knowing too much about the area. Tossa de Mar is beautiful, perfect if you want a relaxing break away to walk around and take in the sea/views/town life that is on offer. Everything is within walking distance and we found everything so naturally, and by the 2nd night we pretty much knew our way back to the hotel without a map! Historical town centre is constantly breathtaking in whichever light you see it, it was so fun to wonder round all the streets/shops/restaurants. Let’s also not forget the Tossa castle ruins and beaches- so easy to access and again- stunning. Hotel Vila de Tossa was great- perfect for everything we needed. It was super clean through the whole property and we could decide when we wanted housekeeping to come which was really good. The room was simple but big and decor was nice, bed was super super comfy and the balcony was a great bonus for us. Plenty of towels and toiletries provided, but maybe could’ve done with an extra bin in the bedroom itself (there was only one in the bathroom). Breakfast buffet was good and provided lots of options, I am vegetarian so it can be difficult to find substantial meals catered for my diet. Staff were really kind and always said hello, and were also very forgiving of our limited Spanish (lol). I would absolutely book this hotel again!
