We booked this cabin for a guys weekend to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of our busy lives, and it was just that. This cabin is super quiet, very secluded, and in the woods. This cabin is set back from the street which makes you feel like you are all alone in the middle of nature. There are neighbors but they are so far away you can’t see them from the property. We grilled, drank beer, played cards, utilized the pool table, ping pong, hung out on the several decks that are off the back of the house, and had a great time. With that being said as part of the services offered, one of them is grocery drop off. I recommend bringing your own or using this service. The area that the cabin is located in is hard to navigate due to the winding roads and dense greenery. We needed our gps the whole weekend, it is hard to find your way around if your not familiar with the area. Everything seemed to be 20 min away or more. But that is what we were looking for, and we got exactly that! Thank you for letting us stay, we had a great time!!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our family included 3 adult children. Snow on the ground, record cold temperatures - but the cabin was cozy, so much to do (hot tub, games, bird watching, movies, ping pong and pool). The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed cooking together and eating around the lovely dining room table. The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures - a gem!

Great cabin in a peaceful location. The cabin had a wonderful kitchen and the space to allow for multiple gathering places. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the outdoor fire pit was another fantastic gathering place! We hope to be back soon.

This is a wonderful property! It is clean and comfortable. We had the supplies we needed. The setting is wooded and private. The hot tub was a nice bonus feature. The sun porch was our favorite room. The check-in/out process was easy and friendly. It is about 20-min drive to Nashville. We highly recommend this rental for families, friends or couples!

Communication was great from the owner. Hot tub worked very well. Kitchen was stocked with every pot/pan/utensil you can think of. Gas grill was in great working order. Great air conditioning throughout the cabin. Property was very clean and in good condition- no complaints whatsoever.

We loved our time at your cabin. Not only is the cabin beautiful, the setting is so peaceful. We enjoyed our family time in the atrium, around the fireplace in the living room, on the decks, and especially outdoors by the fire pit. The kitchen was amazing and well stocked. The bedrooms and rec area were perfect. While our daughter is now graduated from IU, we all talked about having to plan a return visit. Thank you for your hospitality. We loved our stay.

Communication with Marisa was top notch! The property was spotless. The accommodations were aMaZiNg, except the pull-out sofa downstairs. I strongly don\'t recommend it for anyone with back problems, or arthritis, as it sleeps like a 1" thick foam pad on 1\' thick springs (I drew the short straw.) The drive to civilization was a minium of 10-15 minutes which the four of us enjoyed immensely, but "fast-paced" city folk may or may not enjoy. We had neighbors, but they were "country neighbors" - Heaven! Marisa left us welcome snacks and fresh eggs (thank you, again!) which was a very nice, and unexpected touch. If you can\'t find a place to sit, inside or out, then you aren\'t even looking. There was plenty of practical/comfortable, lounging, and any other kind of seating that you could ever want, both on the decks and in the home. We 110% appreciated the extremely efficient air conditioning (in the 90°+ heat). The back-up generator came on immediately when the power flashed on and off a couple of days. (There was a snafu with the power on our second day that rectified itself, and Marisa IMMEDIATELY sent someone to reset the hot tub (per the instructions to follow in the book, in case of a power outage). There\'s PLENTY to do in the area. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay at Acre Ridge Cabin, and have already discussed the idea of returning this fall! 15 out of 10 - Highly recommend!! This home was perfect. Clean and very well stocked. Loved the water feature. Quiet! Perfect place to unwind in the Atrium. It was blissful when it rained and we watched through the glass. It had so many places to relax. Each level has a bedroom and bath, so it’s like a master suite on each floor. Perfect for three couples!! Or two couples and the kids upstairs. Thoughtfully have gates for the stairs. It kept our puppy on the same floor as us. Went into Ninevah and ate at Grillerz. It was wonderful to find delicious food in a tiny town! You won’t regret staying in this home. Marisa was extremely nice and helpful.

Gorgeous home that is even nicer than the photos. Everything was well stocked and very clean. We took advantage of the hot tub, gym, multiple decks, sun room, game room, and beautiful kitchen and grill. There is so much to do at the house you really don’t need to leave. We were able to instacart some items we forgot, which I wasn’t sure if we’d be able to do. Plenty of hiking nearby - even a nature preserve within walking distance. There was a level of preparation and effort put into the house before our arrival that I haven’t often seen. Very impressed.

The property location is ideal for a restful getaway. Interior surfaces were clean and neat. However, there are many items that need attention. Access to the main stairs into the cabin is treacherous due to uneven, drooping brickwork, making it dangerous for elderly persons. The umbrella shade on the rear deck is broken and, when opened, a bird's nest fell out. The s'mores items in the welcome basket were quite old and when opened were oxidized. Batteries in the Operation game were rotten and leaking acid. The pet exercise area was overgrown with tall weeds, and the gates were off their hinges. A great deal of moss was located on the north side of the main upper deck along the sunroom exterior. The master bath shower has a caddy that causes the spray to go horizontally, necessitating that the shower be handheld. This is a burden on people in their 80s and would be a frustration for anyone else. Finally, the cooking equipment has been abused and is no longer serviceable. Even on low heat, everything stuck to the pans.This could truly be a superior property with only a bit of effort.

Oh my! This cabin was everything advertised and more. Beautiful setting, spacious, and extremely clean. So many amenities. The beds were comfy, cozy. All the furniture in excellent condition. We wished we could have stayed longer. We all agreed we would like to return. Highly recommend.

Over all the stay was good. The house was cute. Our group loved the atrium and the common spaces. However the cleanliness was lacking. The floors had food on them and needed attention. Lack of towels for the number of people in our party for a week.

The cabin was extremely clean, has a very well equipped kitchen that we put to good use, and comfortable furniture for lounging (that we also put to good use). The nights were cool and we spent time in the living room with the wood burning fireplace making it cozy and warm. The atrium room is one of the best features to soak up the sun even when it is cool outside. The owners would be wise to purchase new mattresses, but there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Marissa was great to work with and replied immediately to our questions. Our getaway for three retired couples who wanted to stay up late playing cards and dominoes, sleep late and then enjoy coffee around the fireplace couldn’t have been nicer.

We absolutely loved our family getaway at this location. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The home was cozy and quiet with lots of together-time activities. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as a family, and star gazing out the sky lights at night, and several games of pool in the basement. The surrounding woods were so serene. Having our morning coffee sitting out in the atrium just chatting away was our favorite part. This home encourages connection as a family and sparked us dreaming of building a home like it ourselves someday. We enjoyed movie nights comfortably by the fireplace, and the whole family found the beds to be restful. The charm of real hardwood floors, the cabin feel, charming decor, and the heated toilet seat in the master bath made every part of our memories of our stay feel warm, homey and relaxing. Thank you all for opening such a home for others to stay and enjoy, relax and rest.

Amazing Cabin..loved the size. Very clean! Gorgeoud view and hot tub was amazing! Only issues: Master bed not comfortable at all. Also very loud mattress (I am 125 lbs and people on floor above me could hear me whenever I turned over!") Pullout beds in basement were like "sleeping on tuna cans" would not even be ok for small kids. Only basement bedroom mattress was ok. The rest were not good. Also, I resent having a tip envelope out for cleaning when we PAID for a CLEANING FEE. This makes no sense. other than that is was SUPERB!!!!

The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed cooking together and eating around the lovely dining room table. The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures - a gem!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our family included 3 adult children. Snow on the ground, record cold temperatures - but the cabin was cozy, so much to do (hot tub, games, bird watching, movies, ping pong and pool). The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed cooking together and eating around the lovely dining room table. The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures - a gem!

This is a wonderful property! It is clean and comfortable. We had the supplies we needed. The setting is wooded and private. The hot tub was a nice bonus feature. The sun porch was our favorite room. The check-in/out process was easy and friendly. It is about 20-min drive to Nashville. We highly recommend this rental for families, friends or couples!

Our family absolutely loved our stay! This was our first time staying in Brown County, and it did not disappoint. The Cabin was tucked away and cozy, yet not too far from anything we wanted to do. Our favorite thing was spending time in the beautiful sun room!

Communication with Marisa was top notch! The property was spotless. The accommodations were aMaZiNg, except the pull-out sofa downstairs. I strongly don\'t recommend it for anyone with back problems, or arthritis, as it sleeps like a 1" thick foam pad on 1\' thick springs (I drew the short straw.) The drive to civilization was a minium of 10-15 minutes which the four of us enjoyed immensely, but "fast-paced" city folk may or may not enjoy. We had neighbors, but they were "country neighbors" - Heaven! Marisa left us welcome snacks and fresh eggs (thank you, again!) which was a very nice, and unexpected touch. If you can\'t find a place to sit, inside or out, then you aren\'t even looking. There was plenty of practical/comfortable, lounging, and any other kind of seating that you could ever want, both on the decks and in the home. We 110% appreciated the extremely efficient air conditioning (in the 90°+ heat). The back-up generator came on immediately when the power flashed on and off a couple of days. (There was a snafu with the power on our second day that rectified itself, and Marisa IMMEDIATELY sent someone to reset the hot tub (per the instructions to follow in the book, in case of a power outage). There\'s PLENTY to do in the area. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay at Acre Ridge Cabin, and have already discussed the idea of returning this fall! 15 out of 10 - Highly recommend!! We stayed from 5/12 - 5/17. To say that our stay was peaceful is an understatement. The property is secluded. There are two houses within earshot, and we never heard a single noise from either house. There might have been 10 vehicles per day to pass by on that road. The experience was exactly what we were looking for/needed. The only negative item that we could find in other people's reviews, was about the mattress in the master bedroom. I hated the mattress, but my wife absolutely loved it. She literally said this morning (days later) that she misses that bed. Everyone has a different preference, so please don't let that scare you off. The atrium (glass room) was excellent for the rainy days and cool mornings. We enjoyed the peace most of all.

5 friends stayed at this cabin for a girls retreat. This place was amazing! Situated in gorgeous woods with outstanding views. We loved the enclosed, heated sunroom and ended up spending most of our days in there. It was cold and rainy during our trip, so being warm and cozy in this bright space, while hearing the rain on the roof was pretty cool. The cabin has everything you need for cooking and preparing meals. The beds are comfy. Couldn't have asked for a better place to get away from it all.

This was an amazing property with beautiful views from the atrium of woods and nature! Secluded and quiet, but also just 20min from Nashville IN. Communication with property manager was great! Highly recommend as one of the nicer log cabins in this area to stay in. We loved our time here!

This is a wonderful place to relax. Hostess was very prompt in replying to any correspondence.The location was perfect, would be nice to have a sign with house number at top of the driveway entrance so you know you are at the right place. Ty for sharing this beautiful house with us. We are already planning our next visit.

Communication was great from the owner. Hot tub worked very well. Kitchen was stocked with every pot/pan/utensil you can think of. Gas grill was in great working order. Great air conditioning throughout the cabin. Property was very clean and in good condition- no complaints whatsoever.

Were greeted by a kind welcome gift of pastries and cider from a local cafe. House is exactly as pictured. Plenty of space for 7 adults and 2 small kids. We have local family in the area and we were all able to have supper together, converse and play games in the main room. The younger crew enjoyed games in the lower level lqter in the evening. My family spent 4 days at the cabin for our rainy spring break. We got in some good hikes and shopping time in between rain storms. But the cabin offered so much to do that we had a blast and the kids were occupied the whole time despite the rainy weather. The owner was very responsive and provided everything we needed in a fully stocked kitchen and house. We can’t wait to come back!

We booked this cabin for a guys weekend to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of our busy lives, and it was just that. This cabin is super quiet, very secluded, and in the woods. This cabin is set back from the street which makes you feel like you are all alone in the middle of nature. There are neighbors but they are so far away you can’t see them from the property. We grilled, drank beer, played cards, utilized the pool table, ping pong, hung out on the several decks that are off the back of the house, and had a great time. With that being said as part of the services offered, one of them is grocery drop off. I recommend bringing your own or using this service. The area that the cabin is located in is hard to navigate due to the winding roads and dense greenery. We needed our gps the whole weekend, it is hard to find your way around if your not familiar with the area. Everything seemed to be 20 min away or more. But that is what we were looking for, and we got exactly that! Thank you for letting us stay, we had a great time!!

So peaceful. Half the fun of staying there is the drive to get to the cabin. Beautiful location. The sun room is where you will spend most of your time at the house. And it s air-conditioned (it was 94 degrees and humid). Would definitely stay there again. If you want to escape and relax this is a great place to do it.

What a wonderful experience we had at the Acre Ridge Cabin! It was a last minute spring break trip and it worked out perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed - 2 ovens!! The utensils were great shape (which is not always the case). We loved the layout of the cabin, and the absolute favorite part was the atrium. I got up at 1:00am to lie out there and listen to the rain and thunder, and watch the lightening. Definitely suggest Acre Ridge Cabin!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, quiet, and well appointed. We loved the atrium and made plenty of use of the fireplace. We will definitely be coming back!

The property location is ideal for a restful getaway. Interior surfaces were clean and neat. However, there are many items that need attention. Access to the main stairs into the cabin is treacherous due to uneven, drooping brickwork, making it dangerous for elderly persons. The umbrella shade on the rear deck is broken and, when opened, a bird's nest fell out. The s'mores items in the welcome basket were quite old and when opened were oxidized. Batteries in the Operation game were rotten and leaking acid. The pet exercise area was overgrown with tall weeds, and the gates were off their hinges. A great deal of moss was located on the north side of the main upper deck along the sunroom exterior. The master bath shower has a caddy that causes the spray to go horizontally, necessitating that the shower be handheld. This is a burden on people in their 80s and would be a frustration for anyone else. Finally, the cooking equipment has been abused and is no longer serviceable. Even on low heat, everything stuck to the pans.This could truly be a superior property with only a bit of effort.
