Gorgeous views, quiet, clean

The check-in process was easy. The home has beautiful views of the lake however, by the first day we were there, we started seeing carpenter ants. The owner had someone drop off some ant poison, but it didn’t seem to do the job as the ants got worse and worse. We booked four nights stay there, but could not stay the whole four nights because the ants became so bad that we were literally killing multiple ants every few minutes mostly in the kitchen, but then they started to be in the bedrooms. We asked for a refund for our last night because we could not stay there with those many ants crawling around the home. It definitely needs to be exterminated. We let the homeowner know that the ants were everywhere yet they refuse to give us a one night credit…. while we enjoyed the view. The home was nice… the ants ruined our trip. Hopefully they will get that resolved for their next guests.

Loved our stay here. The neighborhood is quiet, but still very close to downtown Lexington and not a far drive to Port Huron. The view of the lake was gorgeous. The house is spacious and we had plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Comfortable beds, beautiful view—an excellent stay.

We had a girl's weekend and the house was perfect for the occasion. The view in the morning is breathtaking, the beds were cozy and the water pressure was great. I plan on booking this house again in the summer so we can enjoy the beach!!!
