We certainly enjoyed our time relaxing at the cabin by the pines! A private and quaint little cabin that had everything we needed, including the tranquility of being surrounded by nature. From the deck, we got to watch the horses in the pasture in front of us while we watched the sunset. There was even the soothing sounds of a distant train nearby here and there. Everything was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. Our host, Dennis, was polite and great with communicating quickly and answering any questions.

ReviewReturning to my home town to see family and friends, we found this space to be idyllic, tranquil, a wonderful retreat from the big city. This place was perfect for us, from the deck you can watch the horses graze and the calves frolic as the birds and bugs join in a chorus and your stress just melts away. It’s not a big place but it’s wonderfully laid out with all the basics you might need. And it had the best seating we’ve found in this size of vacation rental.

A nice little cabin right off a driveway, but the surrounding pine trees make it separete and secluded, with a view of farm land and little else so you can disconnect and relax, forgetting the world exists. The decor is old rustic meets modern utilitarian, fantastic use of gas piping to make bars for curtains and handles for shelves and to hang towels. A very comfortable bed that does have a head adjustment. You have to get use to the tank-less water heater. The couch in the sitting area is wonderful, heated, massaging, and extremely comfortable. The cabin is in the rural area of Goshen but close enough to downtown that it make little different. The cabin is also very close to Elkhart so shopping, dining, and amusement are close. I hope the family that opened there cabin is blessed for the little bit of calm they bring to people.

This little cabin is perfectly laid out to maximize space and comfort. I wish we could have spent our full 2 weeks in Elkhart in this little cabin. It is so much better than an extended stay hotel room where you can’t even turn a light on without disturbing your partner.

The cabin was adorable, clean, quiet, and relaxing. The property sits next to a pasture where the horses would come out and roam, which was fun to see. Trip was to destress and relax and this place provided the perfect place to do that. It was obvious that the owners took great care to provide easy access to the cabin and left good notes on how to checkout - which is always helpful. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away for a little bit.

My wife and I loved the cabin. It was quiet, clean, and had horses, cows and turkeys out the front door. So much better than a dreary hotel room! Will definitely stay again when I am in town.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay so much! We were at the cabin for a long weekend. The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. The cabin was super clean and everything was very easy to use. The property manager was very prompt with communication and answered the couple questions we had in a timely manner. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay for a couple looking for a weekend away!

This is my second year to stay at this property. I come to the South Bend area one time per year to visit with friends and see a Notre Dame game. It is reasonably close to ND and South Bend. The location is great, and the property is so peaceful. The owner is very nice and easy to work and communicates well. I plan to return again.

Nice peaceful cabin perfect to unwind. We visited to participate in the Pumpkinvine Bike Ride. Cabin is very close to trail and many Amish attractions. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Recommended.

I hope the family that opened there cabin is blessed for the little bit of calm they bring to people.
A nice little cabin right off a driveway, but the surrounding pine trees make it separete and secluded, with a view of farm land and little else so you can disconnect and relax, forgetting the world exists. The decor is old rustic meets modern utilitarian, fantastic use of gas piping to make bars for curtains and handles for shelves and to hang towels. A very comfortable bed that does have a head adjustment. You have to get use to the tank-less water heater. The couch in the sitting area is wonderful, heated, massaging, and extremely comfortable. The cabin is in the rural area of Goshen but close enough to downtown that it make little different. The cabin is also very close to Elkhart so shopping, dining, and amusement are close. I hope the family that opened there cabin is blessed for the little bit of calm they bring to people.

Staying in Elkhart for about 3 weeks, decided to break up the hotel stays and found this place. It was super cool! Peaceful but 5 minutes from any shopping you might need. Definitely suggest

Perfect for a quite get a way. Far enough out of town for quite evenings. Close enough to town to go to resteraunts. Fidler Pond in Goshen was quite enjoyable, walking, biking.

This is my second year to stay at this property. I come to the South Bend area one time per year to visit with friends and see a Notre Dame game. It is reasonably close to ND and South Bend. The location is great, and the property is so peaceful. The owner is very nice and easy to work and communicates well. I plan to return again.

We booked via Vrbo, but the web site photos don't do it justice. This place is gorgeous! Charming, meticulously clean, comfortable and so peaceful. It was the perfect honeymoon spot. We will be back and plan on recommending this sweet little cabin retreat to others!

What a relaxing weekend. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and clean and loved the scenery around it. We will definitely come here again. A highly recommended quiet getaway.

The little cabin was very enjoyable. We had everything we needed. The unique cabin is in a wonderful location to visit the surrounding area. The country setting is quiet and very peaceful. Beautiful pines sway and create a lovely background behind the cabin.

Very nice cabin that was warm and cozy, even in the snow! Extremely clean with comfortable furnishings. Cookware was in great condition and there was everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. Totally enjoyed our stay!
