Very beautiful place to to stay. Even though it is located on the owners property, we felt we had totally privacy. We enjoyed the yard & firepit area. The location is perfect for anything that you might want to do in Shipshawana and the surrounding areas. It is a perfect place if you are just trying to "get away from it all." I did not notice that Wifi & TV were not listed on the amenities and unfortunately my cellular coverage was not that good on the property. So it would be good to plan for that. There is also a light above the spare bed that seems to be connected to the solar panel outside. It comes on during the day and turns off at night and there appears to be no light switch that is accessible. The owner should at least put a sign of explanation as we spent quit a bit of time trying to figure it out; and if I had to stay in that spare bed, I would find that annoying. That same spare bed also has no privacy as it is out in the living area. It was not a problem for us, but I kept thinking that could be awkward if you had other people other than your young children sleeping on the bed. A moveable screen could be a great answer. Also, there is a window A/C for the cooling in the Master Bedroom. It makes it where you cannot block all the light from outside if you are running the A/C. They do have a blind in addition to the curtains but a lot of light still comes in.But even with all those little things, we would be happy to stay at this location again.

it is nice because it is close to town. But it said it slept 6 and it only had two beds. we were ale to fins a air mattress. so one person had to sleep on that and one person on the sofa. we were not happy.

We checked out of this little slice of heaven today and already can’t wait to return. What a joy it was to stay on this property. Perfect for our two kiddos, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, a fire, and of course visits with King, the horse on the property. If you are looking for a beautiful, CLEAN, quiet sanctuary for a weekend away, look no further!
We checked out of this little slice of heaven today and already can’t wait to return. What a joy it was to stay on this property. Perfect for our two kiddos, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, a fire, and of course visits with King, the horse on the property. If you are looking for a beautiful, CLEAN, quiet sanctuary for a weekend away, look no further!

Rented for my MIL and 3of her lady friends all above the age of 85! They came in to go to 4 gospel concerts at the Blue Gate. It was an absolutely perfect place and they LOVED it!!
