OB native bringing son home for a visit during his Fall Break. Great location super close to everything but out of the way enough from the super partying. Plenty of amenities in the unit and complex was very quiet. One parking space was small so anything larger than a small suv will have some challenges. Will definitely look to stay there again when I come home for a visit.

Pulling up to the outside of the building, I wasn't impressed, but once inside, the condo was as described. Just a couple of houses from the pier or a block down to the beach was a perfect location. Having a closet with all of the beach amenities was so convenient and helpful. There were several restaurants at the other end of the block (Bar 1502 was a favorite) or a couple of blocks away (Breakfast Republic also great) so no car necessary. Unfortunately, there were some homeless men living out in front at the edge of the pier that would yell at us when walking by to where I didn't feel comfortable with my daughter and I walking by without my husband and did put a bit of a damper on things. Not the fault of the condo but does impact the experience. Janet super quick to respond and pleasant to work with.

This is an excellent condo to stay at when you are looking for somewhere near the beach. They have everything you need for a day at the beach. A full kitchen with everything you need to prepare 3 squares. A grill for cooking delicious steaks. We highly recommend this location.

Lovely condo in a great location. The beach is in walking distance as well as tons of restaurants. The condo had a couple beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards that made our stay incredible. Ocean Beach is very active at night and on the weekends. We could hear loud music from various areas when outside the condo, but could barely hear anything inside the condo. Host was very pleasant and responded quickly and went above and beyond to address a minor issue. Highly recommend this condo!!

This property is at ground zero of Ocean Beach - an ocean-side town that has a definite “get back” beach vibe. You are literally surrounded by great local restaurants - think fish tacos, hamburgers ceviche and margaritas). The property is within steps of the beach - but not an “umbrella bring the grandchildren beach” that you would find at a resort. The property is great for 2 - enough said. Parking included, but make sure you have a reasonable size car ( i.e., not a Ford F-150). We loved it - but we had been to San Diego before and we were just looking to kick back (although we did hike Torrey Pines). Make sure you stroll up to Sunset Beach Cliffs - about a mile and 1/2).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ocean Beach. The condo itself was accurately described. One bedroom is all we needed. It was clean and had everything you needed to spend some days at the beach. Having air conditioning and the washer/dryer were great amenities and made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is central to everything around San Diego so a great place to make home base. The location is close to very good restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping. Loved all the locals frequenting the establishments as opposed to being overrun with tourists. We were torn between places in Mission Beach and Ocean Beach. Glad we picked Ocean Beach. You can't go wrong with Janet's place. She was super friendly and a great communicator. We were there during some bad weather and had trouble getting out of San Diego. She was great as we figured things out. May have to go back and continue an extended Ocean Beach stay in the future!

My wife, teen daughter and I flew into San Diego and were excited to stay close to Ocean Beach. Great restaurants, coffee, ice cream nearby so we could walk a few minutes there. We had rented a car and the property parking was clean and easily accessible. This property was very well stocked and clean. Beds and couches were comfortable and we had plenty of blankets/bedding/pillows to make our relaxing time perfect. Streaming TV and updated appliances were great! We enjoyed our stay on this property and would surely stay there again.

The condo was great. The location was convenient to everything. We spent time in La Jolla, the zoo and Coronado Island and never spent more than 20-30 minutes in the car to our destination. The only issue we had was the AC and dishwasher were out of commission. Neither had an impact on our stay and Janet was very to communicate with and alerted us to the AC before we arrived (even offering to fully refund if we preferred!). Overall, we had a great stay in OB!

Great location. Beach just a house away. Loved being able to walk to lots of restaurants. Forgot about the planes going overhead , but got used to them. The tub area needed a little Clorox. But everything else was very nice. Lots of towels and bedding. Especially glad to have a designated parking spot.

Just a regular vacation. This is a great location for just about everything to do in and around SD. Ocean Beach is a great community with very nice people. The condo was the perfect size and cost for my wife and I. The condo was clean and orderly and had everything needed for us. I would certainly choose this location again. Beach, shopping, dining, entertainment, etc is all in walking distance. Drive to the airport is quick and easy. When you stay here there is nothing to worry.

Condo was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The location is great and walking close to the pier, beach, restaurants and shops. For those who are not use to airplane noice, the location is in the launch path of the airport. If the windows are close, the noice is not disruptive. Over all, we will return for future vacations.

My experience was top notch. Condo was very clean with everything I needed. I could have cooked and served an entire meal if needed. No cheap TP :) (true mark of quality and host that cares). Bed comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Coffee shop across street, walkable neighborhood with excellent restaurants. My experience was A+!!!!

Comfortable beds, amazing location literally steps from the beach. Quiet, safe neighborhood with lots of great food options. Went to the farmers market a few blocks away on Wed afternoon and it was a great time. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend.

Amazing property! So close to so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach was also a 5 minute walk so it was great not dealing with driving around for our weekend away. The space was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 4 & 7). Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had some concerns with the freezer making noise one day after we returned from the beach but host was quick with communication and the sound went away after a bit, might have just been the ice maker. But overall it was a great experience & I’d definitely book it again!

The space was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 4 & 7). Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was so close to the Ocean Beach Pier that it felt like it was in my front yard and yet inside the unit it was quiet and peaceful. A one bedroom sounds small but the way that the furniture and rooms are appointed it feels like a three bedroom. Anything that you might need to have fun at the beach and at the place were available. To be able to enjoy Ocean Beach so easily is a true gift!

We were there for 3 nights. It was a perfect location, very close to sunset cliffs, and to lots of shops/restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and everything was nice in the place. They had drinks in the fridge, a bottle of wine and chocolate on the table when we entered. It was perfect for our quick trip to San Diego! we would be willing to stay here again if we are in the area again!

Lovely condo in a great location. The beach is in walking distance as well as tons of restaurants. The condo had a couple beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards that made our stay incredible. Ocean Beach is very active at night and on the weekends. We could hear loud music from various areas when outside the condo, but could barely hear anything inside the condo. Host was very pleasant and responded quickly and went above and beyond to address a minor issue. Highly recommend this condo!!

Our stay was wonderful, the property was clean and easy access to the beach, bike trails, and restaurants too. We had a little issue with the smoke alarm. Anything we cooked seemed to set it off, calling the owner and using the fan when cooking helped. She said it will be replaced. Other than that it was a wonderful place, would go back again

Comfortable beds, amazing location literally steps from the beach. Quiet, safe neighborhood with lots of great food options. Went to the farmers market a few blocks away on Wed afternoon and it was a great time. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend.

Amazing property! So close to so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach was also a 5 minute walk so it was great not dealing with driving around for our weekend away. The space was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 4 & 7). Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had some concerns with the freezer making noise one day after we returned from the beach but host was quick with communication and the sound went away after a bit, might have just been the ice maker. But overall it was a great experience & I’d definitely book it again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ocean Beach. The condo itself was accurately described. One bedroom is all we needed. It was clean and had everything you needed to spend some days at the beach. Having air conditioning and the washer/dryer were great amenities and made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is central to everything around San Diego so a great place to make home base. The location is close to very good restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping. Loved all the locals frequenting the establishments as opposed to being overrun with tourists. We were torn between places in Mission Beach and Ocean Beach. Glad we picked Ocean Beach. You can't go wrong with Janet's place. She was super friendly and a great communicator. We were there during some bad weather and had trouble getting out of San Diego. She was great as we figured things out. May have to go back and continue an extended Ocean Beach stay in the future!

The condo was great. The location was convenient to everything. We spent time in La Jolla, the zoo and Coronado Island and never spent more than 20-30 minutes in the car to our destination. The only issue we had was the AC and dishwasher were out of commission. Neither had an impact on our stay and Janet was very to communicate with and alerted us to the AC before we arrived (even offering to fully refund if we preferred!). Overall, we had a great stay in OB!

Condo was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The location is great and walking close to the pier, beach, restaurants and shops. For those who are not use to airplane noice, the location is in the launch path of the airport. If the windows are close, the noice is not disruptive. Over all, we will return for future vacations.

Just a regular vacation. This is a great location for just about everything to do in and around SD. Ocean Beach is a great community with very nice people. The condo was the perfect size and cost for my wife and I. The condo was clean and orderly and had everything needed for us. I would certainly choose this location again. Beach, shopping, dining, entertainment, etc is all in walking distance. Drive to the airport is quick and easy. When you stay here there is nothing to worry.

Pulling up to the outside of the building, I wasn't impressed, but once inside, the condo was as described. Just a couple of houses from the pier or a block down to the beach was a perfect location. Having a closet with all of the beach amenities was so convenient and helpful. There were several restaurants at the other end of the block (Bar 1502 was a favorite) or a couple of blocks away (Breakfast Republic also great) so no car necessary. Unfortunately, there were some homeless men living out in front at the edge of the pier that would yell at us when walking by to where I didn't feel comfortable with my daughter and I walking by without my husband and did put a bit of a damper on things. Not the fault of the condo but does impact the experience. Janet super quick to respond and pleasant to work with.

My experience was top notch. Condo was very clean with everything I needed. I could have cooked and served an entire meal if needed. No cheap TP :) (true mark of quality and host that cares). Bed comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Coffee shop across street, walkable neighborhood with excellent restaurants. My experience was A+!!!!

This property is at ground zero of Ocean Beach - an ocean-side town that has a definite “get back” beach vibe. You are literally surrounded by great local restaurants - think fish tacos, hamburgers ceviche and margaritas). The property is within steps of the beach - but not an “umbrella bring the grandchildren beach” that you would find at a resort. The property is great for 2 - enough said. Parking included, but make sure you have a reasonable size car ( i.e., not a Ford F-150). We loved it - but we had been to San Diego before and we were just looking to kick back (although we did hike Torrey Pines). Make sure you stroll up to Sunset Beach Cliffs - about a mile and 1/2).

My wife, teen daughter and I flew into San Diego and were excited to stay close to Ocean Beach. Great restaurants, coffee, ice cream nearby so we could walk a few minutes there. We had rented a car and the property parking was clean and easily accessible. This property was very well stocked and clean. Beds and couches were comfortable and we had plenty of blankets/bedding/pillows to make our relaxing time perfect. Streaming TV and updated appliances were great! We enjoyed our stay on this property and would surely stay there again.

We were there for 3 nights. It was a perfect location, very close to sunset cliffs, and to lots of shops/restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and everything was nice in the place. They had drinks in the fridge, a bottle of wine and chocolate on the table when we entered. It was perfect for our quick trip to San Diego! we would be willing to stay here again if we are in the area again!

Charming and cozy condo and just steps from the OB pier. Has a designated parking spot which we didn’t use. I would suggest not renting a car while here because the parking is scarce and or 25 everywhere else. I’m glad I didn’t rent a car. We didn’t spend much time inside because why would you, you’re on the beach?! So many things to do close by, plenty of great food and bakeries/coffee joints.

The location is the key! Steps from the Ocean, one block to Newport Ave, Bars, Restaurants, Shops etc. The flat could use some updating and brightening up. But it has everything you need for your stay.
