Our stay at Lakehaven cottage in Buckeye Lake, Ohio has been THE BEST VRBO experience ever. Here, they treat you like you are family. We were welcomed with the softest homemade cookies, perfect buckeye treats and a Happy Birthday balloon as we were celebrating a birthday during our stay. The beds are comfortable with ample blankets. They had all the toiletries we could have needed. Laundry soap and stain remover were provided. The hottub was perfect. We loved playing air hockeye too. The fenced in yard worked well for our furbaby. We loved walking to the local brewery, restaurants and to see the lake and fountain. We also loved relaxing by the propane fire pit outdoors. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. I am certainly planning to return and for a longer stay.

It’s winter time near the lake. Cottage is very comfortable. So many things I liked. Grocery store not too far away. There were a few restaurants open near the lake. I had margaritas and tacos and Chinese food. Both very good. The cottage had everything i needed to cook with. Including plates and such. The heated floor in bathroom was a bonus. Hot tub was amazing. I can’t wait to come back with a few more friends to darts or air hockey.

Kelli and Sam deserve 100 stars!! The place was phenomenal!! The freshly baked cookies and the dog snacks!! The coffee bar was excellent!! The back yard and rhe outdoor living space were over the top. Our fur kids had never had a safe place ro run until here!! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The kirchen was great to cook in. During our stay it was over 90 almost every day and it was always cool in the house. The hot tub was very relaxi g. The choices of restaurants was awesome!! We are ready to book for next year!!Thank you Kelli and Sam!

We stayed to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Denison University. This house was too small to host any kind of celebration party but it was perfect for our family to stay. The houses in the neighborhood are close together yet it was very quiet. And it's such an easy drive to Granville. There are so many amenities that it truly was very easy to feel like we were at home. Kelly was so responsive and left such thoughtful treats. I just wish we had had more time to enjoy Buckeye Lake and the bikes and fire pit and air hockey/ping pong table, etc. Loved the coffee bar!

We had a wonderful 4 night fall getaway at Lakehaven cottage. The property was so comfortable and inviting. We had everything we needed and more. All of the thoughtful extras provided by the host made the stay even more lovely. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor seating area. It was so nice, on the day that it rained, to sit in the covered area with the gas fire pit and enjoy watching the rain. My husband had to do some work while we were there and the internet was great- no problems joining virtual meetings. We enjoyed the lake and Buckeye Brewing. Check in and out were easy and communication from the hosts was great. We will definitely be back!

We had such a good time staying at Kelly’s little cottage at Buckeye Lake over the Memorial Day weekend! We have a family of four including our two teenage daughters! The place was perfect for what we needed! Very clean, updated very nicely and a great location for us! (The only thing better would have been right on the water)! We took our bikes and paddle boards! Loved biking the 4 mile trail along the lake, going out to papa Bo’s, buckeye lake brewery, Boatyard and Dips on the lake! We enjoyed playing air hockey and ping pong at the cottage as well as using the hot tub numerous times! We would recommend this place and would love to go back soon!

Nice, clean spot with all you could need! Plenty of space, lots of activities around the property and it's in very close walking distance to Buckeye Lake! Our favorites were the hot tub and gas fire pit. The host also let us use their kayaks which was a fun experience! Relaxing little stay in a quiet little neighborhood (albeit some nearby dogs barking early in the morning). Overall a pleasant stay! We would recommend it.

Kelly and Stan do a fabulous job. The cottage was very clean and very well supplied, plus they have added numerous little added touches that were so welcoming and enjoyable. I’ve never stayed at a rental that did so much for the comfort of their guest.. The location is great and the back yard had fun things to do. Definitely recommend.👍👍

This rental is very well stocked with the usual things and a lot of extras with a few personal touches. The proximity to the lake is very convenient. It has plenty to do when the weather doesn’t cooperate. It was very clean inside. Kelly was an excellent host. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years and this one was the cleanest, most thought out place we’ve ever been. You literally only need to bring clothes and meals. There’s shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, detergent, softener, toilet paper, paper towels….and the list goes on. There was not one time I thought “I wish the cottage had this.” I could have camped out on the heated bathroom floor with the chocolate chip cookies and been a happy camper. :) My 17 year old daughter took the bedroom with the full bed and it was a nice, private space for her. We enjoyed the air hockey and hot tub as well! My husband found some quiet time hanging out in the shed at well. The weather was not cooperative when there, but we did manage to get out one afternoon and walk the paved path by the lake which was really pretty. Our favorite restaurant while there was the Buckey Lake Winery! Kelly was also very prompt and helpful in any questions I had. Would recommend this place to everyone!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The cottage had EVERYTHING you would need and then some! The restaurant recommendations were delicious! The lake is minutes away, walking. I'm blown away by the attention to detail this host had putting together a home away from home- Freshly baked cookies, lots of extra blankets, the heated bathrooms floor. I'll repeat, THE HEATED BATHROOM FLOOR!! My husband and I would love to stay there again!!

We enjoyed playing air hockey and ping pong at the cottage as well as using the hot tub numerous times! We would recommend this place and would love to go back soon!

This rental is very well stocked with the usual things and a lot of extras with a few personal touches. The proximity to the lake is very convenient. It has plenty to do when the weather doesn’t cooperate. It was very clean inside. Kelly was an excellent host. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We had a wonderful 4 night fall getaway at Lakehaven cottage. The property was so comfortable and inviting. We had everything we needed and more. All of the thoughtful extras provided by the host made the stay even more lovely. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor seating area. It was so nice, on the day that it rained, to sit in the covered area with the gas fire pit and enjoy watching the rain. My husband had to do some work while we were there and the internet was great- no problems joining virtual meetings. We enjoyed the lake and Buckeye Brewing. Check in and out were easy and communication from the hosts was great. We will definitely be back!

Lakehaven Cottage has been THE BEST VRBO stay we have ever had. The hosts think of everything you may need for a relaxing stay. They provide excellent homemade buckeyes, cookies and dog treats. They also have some toiletry items should you need them. This is our second stay and we plan to return. Highly recommend!

We stayed to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Denison University. This house was too small to host any kind of celebration party but it was perfect for our family to stay. The houses in the neighborhood are close together yet it was very quiet. And it's such an easy drive to Granville. There are so many amenities that it truly was very easy to feel like we were at home. Kelly was so responsive and left such thoughtful treats. I just wish we had had more time to enjoy Buckeye Lake and the bikes and fire pit and air hockey/ping pong table, etc. Loved the coffee bar!

Nice, clean spot with all you could need! Plenty of space, lots of activities around the property and it's in very close walking distance to Buckeye Lake! Our favorites were the hot tub and gas fire pit. The host also let us use their kayaks which was a fun experience! Relaxing little stay in a quiet little neighborhood (albeit some nearby dogs barking early in the morning). Overall a pleasant stay! We would recommend it.

The hosts were so hospitable and it truly made our stay more relaxing. The homemade cookies and buckeyes were delicious that they left for us and our dog enjoyed homemade peanut butter treats! The guest book was super helpful we would have never checked out the diner without it, and the food was fantastic! Dips on the lake was the perfect ice cream spot! The backyard oasis was perfect for us and we enjoyed the hot tub! A wonderful and fun place to stay.

Our stay at Lakehaven cottage in Buckeye Lake, Ohio has been THE BEST VRBO experience ever. Here, they treat you like you are family. The beds are comfortable with ample blankets. They had all the toiletries we could have needed. Laundry soap and stain remover were provided. The hottub was perfect. We loved playing air hockeye too. The fenced in yard worked well for our furbaby. We loved walking to the local brewery, restaurants and to see the lake and fountain. We also loved relaxing by the propane fire pit outdoors. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. I am certainly planning to return and for a longer stay.

We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years and this one was the cleanest, most thought out place we’ve ever been. You literally only need to bring clothes and meals. There’s shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, detergent, softener, toilet paper, paper towels….and the list goes on. There was not one time I thought “I wish the cottage had this.” I could have camped out on the heated bathroom floor with the chocolate chip cookies and been a happy camper. :) My 17 year old daughter took the bedroom with the full bed and it was a nice, private space for her. We enjoyed the air hockey and hot tub as well! My husband found some quiet time hanging out in the shed at well. The weather was not cooperative when there, but we did manage to get out one afternoon and walk the paved path by the lake which was really pretty. Our favorite restaurant while there was the Buckey Lake Winery! Kelly was also very prompt and helpful in any questions I had. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Kelli and Sam deserve 100 stars!! The place was phenomenal!! The freshly baked cookies and the dog snacks!! The coffee bar was excellent!! The back yard and rhe outdoor living space were over the top. Our fur kids had never had a safe place ro run until here!! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The kirchen was great to cook in. During our stay it was over 90 almost every day and it was always cool in the house. The hot tub was very relaxi g. The choices of restaurants was awesome!! We are ready to book for next year!!Thank you Kelli and Sam!

Loved it. These hosts had this place stocked very well, had an organized three-ring binder with comprehensive information on restaurants and activities in the wider area. Peg, Rachel, and I absolutely loved our stay at this cottage during our trip to the Dark Star Jubilee Music Festival! The home was incredibly cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully stocked — truly one of the best-equipped rentals we’ve stayed in.We especially appreciated the little touches: toiletries provided, pantry staples, a well-furnished kitchen, homemade cookies and Buckeyes waiting in the fridge, and the matching towel sets (genius idea for groups!). The organized tabbed guest guide with menus, recommendations, and clear instructions was SO appreciated by three Type A moms.The three of us have been traveling together to jam band shows all over the country for years, and these weekends away are time we truly treasure— a chance to step away from demanding careers & busy home lives and just enjoy great music & time together. This cottage made the weekend even more special.The hot tub was perfect after long days of dancing; we only wish the weather had cooperated more so we could have spent additional time enjoying the beautiful outdoor space & fire pit.To top it all off, after we left, we thought we had accidentally left behind a set of keys. Kelly & Sam rushed right over to help search for them, which says so much about the kind of hosts they are — responsive, caring, & genuinely invested in their guests’ experience.We would absolutely stay here again and hope to return next year!

The home was incredibly cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully stocked — truly one of the best-equipped rentals we’ve stayed in.We especially appreciated the little touches: toiletries provided, pantry staples, a well-furnished kitchen, homemade cookies and Buckeyes waiting in the fridge, and the matching towel sets (genius idea for groups!). The organized tabbed guest guide with menus, recommendations, and clear instructions was SO appreciated by three Type A moms.The three of us have been traveling together to jam band shows all over the country for years, and these weekends away are time we truly treasure— a chance to step away from demanding careers & busy home lives and just enjoy great music & time together. This cottage made the weekend even more special.The hot tub was perfect after long days of dancing; we only wish the weather had cooperated more so we could have spent additional time enjoying the beautiful outdoor space & fire pit.To top it all off, after we left, we thought we had accidentally left behind a set of keys. Kelly & Sam rushed right over to help search for them, which says so much about the kind of hosts they are — responsive, caring, & genuinely invested in their guests’ experience.We would absolutely stay here again and hope to return next year!

This is one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. The hosts thought of every detail to make us feel felt right at home. The beds are super comfortable and the cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything you need for a perfect stay. The homemade sweet treats were an added bonus. The hosts were friendly and responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are headed to Buckeye Lake, I would highly recommend staying here.

everything was super clean stocked with coffee n snacks my grandson loved. My fur baby Bella Lightning loved the yard as much as we did. Was super awesome being so close to lake had blast fishing and then coming back hoping in hot tub to relax. was awesome place already making a plan to come back. p.s. all the little xtras were amazing like the buckeye mmm awesome n Bella Lightning soo approved of her special homade treats. top rated ck it out I highly recommend.

The cottage was everything that the host stated online. Very cozy and relaxing! She also literally thought of everything! The outdoor space was enjoyable with the games, hot tub, and fire pits. Our pups loved the outdoor area and the short walk to the lake! The kitchen was clean, had everything you needed, and very well organized. You can tell she puts thought into the property for sure!
