The communication from the host was excellent matched with the location and accurate property description. We had an excellent time at the property with Quarantine Bay nearby. Facilities within the property are good with nice comfortable beds, heating via air conditioning and wood stove.

Well equipped, even had an air fryer, comfy beds, fabulous shower, brilliant wood heater. This was our 3rd stay here. Looking forward to coming back, our fur baby loved the outdoors. Very private with a great outlook.

Easy access and lovely location with wallabies visiting morning and evening. Well equipped kitchen and pantry was an absolute bonus. Two bedrooms with queen beds and one also included bunks so great for larger families. Great hot shower and reverse cycle heater and wood heater with plenty of cut wood available. 10 / 10 - thank you for making this place available. Loved staying here.

We loved this property. It suited our family down to the ground. Our favourite part of the stay was sitting around the fire pit at the end of the day, roasting marshmallows looking over the water.

The house and location were just perfect.... Secluded, quiet, tranquil. Beds were super comfy. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook with. Just remember to bring everything you need to eat from the mainland, like milk &tonic water..haha! They had loads of dry pantry items. We left some marshmallows for the next family. Highly recommend a walk on the beach to check out the rock oysters. Never seen anything like it, prehistoric! A perfect 2 days. Even saw a few quols, plus lots of Wallabies. Highly recommend!!!

We luv coming to this house, our dog has the best time ever. There is clear access into water with little oysters, our dog enjoyed all the swimming at his back door. The pantry items are extensive and always impress us.

Extremely well set up. Like visiting a friend home while they are away. Many handy pantry items - great as you need to bring food. Not close to shops. The bay (Quarantine) is so pretty. We had a square rigger moored in front for two nights. Owners were very good with coms. Spent most nights around the open fire near the deck. Magic! Be prepared for the gravel drive in - about 10 mins. Entrance is a little hard to find first time. Would be difficult at night. Great to look around the Nth of Island. Very scenic. Many visitors would not get to this part. No tourist busses.

Very clean you have everything you need here. You can go down to the water and have a feed of mussels and oysters. The wild life is amazing the day we turn up there was a encinda walking right pass the back deck. Make sure you have your dogs tied up so they don't chase the wildlife. We had the best time there.

If it's peace and serenity you're looking for, then this is the place! Nothing but silence, glistening water, bird song, occasional kangaroos, amazing sunsets. A most comfortable cottage, with everything you need and more. No wifi.

Lovely property. Major selling point for me was that it was dog friendly. It’s not fenced, but you’re away from everything so great for you dog to run around. There are a few wallaby around though, so be aware if your dog likes to chase. Pretty much all the amenities you need are supplied. Only thing missing which would have been handy were firelighters. We managed to make do though. There’s also a heat pump, so you won’t be cold. There is also no wifi, but reception for both Optus and Telstra was fine. Bed was comfy, as was the lounge suite. Nice deck out the back. We didn’t spend much time out there due to the weather, but I’m sure it would be beautiful in summer. Location is a bit away from all the touristy spots. Not much of an issue as the island is only small and being away from it all is part of the charm. Very much enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again! Thank you!

Perfect place to relax with beautiful lake views. Quite a bit of wildlife around. However, do bring anything you will need as the closest general store is like 30 minutes away. No wifi, so be prepared. This is the best vrbo on our 2-month trip. Highly recommended.

Firstly Paul was assuring, communicative and all round nice guy! The place itself was wonderful. Away from the rat race nestled away in the bush yet literally metres from the water. Friendly native animals and every need not too far away. Comfortable house, beds and a well stocked pantry went a great way to a relaxing stay! I can highly recommend this place to anyone and already have!

Perfect location for a peaceful few days on Bruny. Out and about exploring during our days, then cozying up beside the fire and enjoying the stunning water views at the end of the day. Dixie our dog absolutely loved sniffing out the smells associated with wallabies and possums. We had a picnic lunch down at the waterfront on our last day. Thank you Paul and Sharon for allowing us the pleasure of enjoying this wonderful little treasure. John and Lyndell and Dixie (from Railton) 😊

Found the dirt roads and signage confusing and the numbering on the property was not clear from the road. Access to property entrance was poor from the road but the driveway was acceptable. Everything else was fabulous and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a square rigger moored in front for two nights. Owners were very good with coms. Spent most nights around the open fire near the deck. Magic! Be prepared for the gravel drive in - about 10 mins. Entrance is a little hard to find first time. Would be difficult at night. Great to look around the Nth of Island. Very scenic. Many visitors would not get to this part. No tourist busses.

This hideaway house was lovely, the location was absolutely stunning and the owners ensured that virtually everything we needed was included in the house - you still need to bring your own food, but effort has been made to provide the day to day basics like sauces, spices, condiments, glad wrap etc. We could not have been happier with this accommodation and we have every intention of staying here again if we ever return to Bruny! We didn't choose to bring our dog on this occasion, but genuinely appreciated that it was an option and would likely do so in the future.

Perfect place to relax with beautiful lake views. Quite a bit of wildlife around. However, do bring anything you will need as the closest general store is like 30 minutes away. No wifi, so be prepared. This is the best vrbo on our 2-month trip. Highly recommended.

Firstly Paul was assuring, communicative and all round nice guy! The place itself was wonderful. Away from the rat race nestled away in the bush yet literally metres from the water. Friendly native animals and every need not too far away. Comfortable house, beds and a well stocked pantry went a great way to a relaxing stay! I can highly recommend this place to anyone and already have!

If you're keen on a getaway to a beautiful, secluded location not even a stone's through from the water, this is it! A quiet 20 minute drive to artisan cheese, fresh baked sour dough baguettes, house labelled beers and wine, fresh fresh oysters and amazing honey. Then there's the south island! Very comfortable accommodation with all you could ask for. Important! read the welcoming notes and do not leave your shoes outside overnight!!! We are definitely planning a return trip.

Easy access and lovely location with wallabies visiting morning and evening. Well equipped kitchen and pantry was an absolute bonus. Two bedrooms with queen beds and one also included bunks so great for larger families. Great hot shower and reverse cycle heater and wood heater with plenty of cut wood available. 10 / 10 - thank you for making this place available. Loved staying here.

The house and location were just perfect.... Secluded, quiet, tranquil. Beds were super comfy. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook with. Just remember to bring everything you need to eat from the mainland, like milk &tonic water..haha! They had loads of dry pantry items. We left some marshmallows for the next family. Highly recommend a walk on the beach to check out the rock oysters. Never seen anything like it, prehistoric! A perfect 2 days. Even saw a few quols, plus lots of Wallabies. Highly recommend!!!

We luv coming to this house, our dog has the best time ever. There is clear access into water with little oysters, our dog enjoyed all the swimming at his back door. The pantry items are extensive and always impress us.

My parents and I had a very relaxing time at Hideaway. We loved the seclusion of the property, the peacefulness and the deck and ammenities. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and additional thoughtful items such as containers, salt and pepper etc. The only thing we regretted, was not bringing meat to cook on the BBQ, however we did use it to heat our lasagna which worked prefectly!

Great views and walks nearby. There's a bit of a dip at the start of the driveway that might be a problem if you've got a low car. Host provided clear instructions on day of arrival, great experience overall!
