The hot tub was great. The cabin is near several state parks to go hiking in. The bed was super comfortable! The deck was very nice but unfortunately we only saw one deer. The owner was very quick to message back to us and was easy to communicate with.

Tom did it right with this rental. The quiet blew us away, exactly what we wanted. Excellent deck to hang out and enjoy nature and a hot tub to soak if you need to relax after hiking or a long day. Comfortable bed to rest and plenty of amenities to get you through your stay. If you enjoy wildlife and need some extra peace and quiet in your life, stay here. Great price and great host, thank you.

The pics dont it justice. It was more than I'd wish for. The deck showed off a wooded area teaming with deers and colorful birds. So peaceful! Great hot tub.

Check in was so easy, and was appreciated after a long day driving. We felt nice and secluded on the back deck with views of the woods, birds, and deer! The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedroom was very comfortable, and the shower is a real highlight! We will be back!

The listing says there are two bedrooms, but there is only 1 and it is separated from the living room by a movable divider so it's essentially one big room. It also lists a double sofa bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room, neither of which were there. There was a couch in the living room but it did not fold out to be a bed, which was disappointing since I was stuck with the blow up mattress. This was listed as full size but was the size of a single bed. I am 6'1'' and my feet hung off the end by about 6 inches. It also said that it had a headboard which it does not. The bathroom and kitchen are nice and as listed and the deck was very nice with a solo stove and soft sided hot tub big enough for 2 people. It was very restful spending time on the deck. This would be a great place for a couple who slept in the same bed and with up to two small kids. One of the pictures shows a sofa that has been replaced by a recliner. We enjoyed our stay except for the sleeping accommodations.

The kitchen had a few extras like some basic spices in the cupboard and condiments in the fridge. Nice deck and pretty woods at the rear of the cabin. Spare dog bowls if you bring a furry friend but forget your bowls. Only drawback really was that the twin(?) size air mattress was not really big enough for a tallish adult (5'11"). We had booked over a year in advance to come for the total eclipse and the sleeping accommodations had changed in that time. The bed itself was great. So currently sleeps 3 maybe 4 if two of the four are kids.

The property is beautiful, we spent most of our week on the back deck watching the deer. Bed is SOOO comfortable, everything put together with thought and intention. Tom was a most gracious host! He provided great information on the area and activities and went out of his way to ensure all our needs were met. His property is a perfect weekend retreat, with little touches, that made it extra special. The people in the area were very welcoming, too! Check out the donation-based full buffet breakfast on Sat mornings from 8:30-10 AM at Eagle Point Lodge, just around the corner. Friendly folks, and a great way to start your day exploring all the state parks! Again, Tom was one of the best hosts we've encountered at VRBO!

Very nice cabin. Very clean. Very quiet. Not quite the location I had expected, but the veiw off the back deck is beautiful and secluded. Will probably rent again. Definitely recommended!!!

The property is beautiful, we spent most of our week on the back deck watching the deer. Bed is SOOO comfortable, everything put together with thought and intention. Hosts Tom and Amy were on top of everything, communication response, less than 30 min. We can’t wait to come back in the fall to see the foliage. Thanks so much!

Great property. Super clean. A/C is top notch. The hot tub was clean and worked well. TV was nice and swiveled. Well thought out and attention to details in this adorable treehouse. Nice quiet. Easy check in. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed our stay with our pooch. My only suggestion would be to add a portable luggage stand.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Tom, the host, is very friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting him, which made our trip even better. He really wants to ensure that you are comfortable, feel welcomed, and have a great stay. Communication was outstanding. The place was very clean, and we had everything we needed and more. This was hands down our best cabin rental experience we have had! The cabin was in a great central location which allowed us to visit state parks and the Shawnee National Forest. The deck with the hot tub and fire pit were a great way to wind down and relax after hiking.

This property is not ready for the season. The lounge pool was not near being close to being opened. It’s advertised as May-Sept., we stayed after Memorial Day weekend, basically June. The outdoor shower hasn’t even been cleaned out for the season. There’s more ants in the kitchen than there was anywhere outside. The hot tub was dirty. The solo stove and wood provided was highlights of the stay. Very disappointed.

The cabin was nice and cozy. The deck was relaxing. It was mostly clean,only thing was the sofa had animal hair on it but a lint roller took care of that. Communication with the host was great. Overall it was very nice.
