Cozy Cottage!Shared Honeoye Lake Access 5 min walk

Everything was there we didn't need to bring anything.The owner was very helpful. We will probably go there again.

The Location was a plus on this visiting trip. The rental was 5 min away from my family in Bloomfield which was a huge plus. Naples or Canadagiua were our other options. However, our stay in the rental had a few draw backs. The kitchen was very nice. The bathroom was tite with the washer & dryer, but we were forwarned that it's a work in progress. The beds were extreamly hard! They need a box springs or replace with panel bed mattress's. Our largest issue was the Musty Oder! We opened windows & bought room freshners, Nothing seemed to help. Our hanging clothes had absorbed the oder too. I feel the musty oder & beds need attention for the price we were charged.

Cottage was well equipped with comfortable furnishings (dining furniture especially nice) and cutely decorated but needs a little TLC and attention to detail. Appreciate the cable TV with movies and Wi-Fi. Bathroom is problematic as it has a full size washer and dryer right smack in the middle which you have to navigate around to get to the toilet and vanity. No hooks in bathroom to hang towels and clothes. Water pressure impeded by kink in the shower hose but water temp was great. There were a lot of bugs in the cottage. Prob came in thru space around AC. Bedrooms could use room darkening curtains and separate AC units. We had to leave bedroom doors open to keep bedrooms cool. One bedroom had old sheets that were pilling. Other bedroom was fine Overall we enjoyed our week long stay but the cottage could use some work and attention to detail. Kitchen cabinet doors are uneven/hinges loose, molding around doors etc loose, holes in wall/door, bedroom doors don’t shut all the way, etc. There were plenty of bath towels but only two hand towels and no washcloths, only one dish towel.

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was as described, equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and a brief walk to the picturesque Honeoye Lake. The host was very responsive and we would love to return!
