Crystal River Cabin w/ Scenic View & Fire Pit

The home is so relaxing and tranquil from the moment we stepped into the home. The decor is very nice and the size of the home was the perfect. I can't say enough how nice it is to sit out on the upper or lower deck overlooking the river and hearing it. At night opened the bedroom window to hear to river. So peaceful! Thank you and I will keep this home in mind if we come down that way again.

This house is the perfect little place to get away for the weekend. It had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is beautiful

The property is exactly what we were looking for in this vacation. A place not only to lay our head, but relax on the back porch, grill, sit by the fire - though we had to watch as there were fire alert warnings in the weather. By the time we hit the bed each night we all fell right off to sleep. The accommodations were perfect and close enough to the GSM National Park we could have gone every day, but we spent one whole day at the cabin relaxing and enjoying everything. I cannot say enough about how much we loved our stay.

Needed a base camp for Bigfoot festival and sightseeing. Nice cabin glad we didn't bring our f250 parking a little tight. Other than that good . Neighbor renters parked a little close to fire pit but they left Sun am so could have fire that night. . Next renter also parked kinda close but we had a fire anyway.

Love this property! It never disappoints. The Cabin and appliances are well maintained and the ice maker even works which is unusual in rental properties. We will be back again next year.

We had a fantastic time! We really enjoyed the view from the big porches and listening to the river flowing past us. There was plenty of room for four adults and our little dog. The fire pit was great and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the evening.

We decided this year to do a small staycation. This cabin was amazing and really fit the standards and beyond what we were looking for. The small space where there was a bedroom and small living area was fantastic for our son who has sensory issues so he literally got his own space and did what he wanted wether it was outside or inside. The cabin was beautiful and right size for our small family. There was a hiccup with the heating and air however the owners and hostess was amazing with communication. Very apologetic even though it was out of their control, but the issue was resolved. Having two decks to choose from was an added bonus the bottom deck has a shower so once the kids were done in the river they could rinse off before heading up to the top deck. Our dog enjoyed it too so that's a bonus. The river access was easy for the kids too. On our last night the air had messed up again however once it was addressed the owners and the hostess were on it. Communication is a big thing with them and we appreciated it so much. We are definitely going to stay again and can't wait. Highly recommend this cabin and the owners and hostess who truly take pride in their property and the families that stay.

I have been visiting Townsend for more years than I can count and this is the best cabin I’ve found so far! It sits right on the river and the primary bedroom has a huge picture window that showcases it. The place is clean and well stocked with everything you need. It has ample outdoor decks for hanging out and an outdoor shower. Apple Valley Farms is a 5 minute drive down the road. The only downside is parking is pretty limited but we will definitely be booking again.

This is a Trout fishing paradise. The description of " 2 parking spaces + additional roadside parking" well, that is a stretch. The front door is literally 10 feet from the edge of the road. I was barely able to fit my 19 foot 2015 F150 super crew cab w/ 5.5 ft. bed (diagonally) in the "2 parking spaces". That was with the front bumper about 3 feet from the edge of the road. The house is well equipped with new appliances and a recent modern renovation. The living room floor sloping toward the river is interesting. Overall, this was a pleasant stay.

Everything was great. Clean space-even the porches were free of spiderwebs and critters. Watched a family of ducks everyday from the back porch and a sweet raccoon couple across the river. The BEST part about this home is the river, but I would like to suggest the downed trees be removed so the river could be entered easier. We tubed and swam and enjoyed this cabin so much! Beds were so comfy and there were plenty of nice big towels for us! VERY CLEAN and just the perfect home for our family. We will be back!!

Property was very clean. Family and I really enjoyed the accomdations. Best part was relaxing on the deck overlooking the river. We will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much! There were a few issues with the hall bathroom, i.e., broken shower rod, tissue holder broken, tub stopped up. Someone was sent to unclog the tub, but he did not have any liquids to fix it. Said he would be back again. Also, the wood floors were dirty, especially in the kitchen. There was a lot of noise from traffic from Hwy 321 above us as we were in a valley. The lovely view of the river was so soothing. We stayed on the balcony most of the time. We went to a little restaurant in Townsend that served wonderful Fried green tomatoes. Overall a great stay!!! We

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at Crystal River Cabin! The setting is lovely! The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. We had a wonderful time and we will be back!

This cabin was very nicely remodeled. It was very light and quaint on the inside and the gated porches were wonderful. My son loved swimming in the river but my husband and I enjoyed the peacefulness of the river. With that being said, there is no grass for your pet to use the bathroom. That was very nerve racking. The cabin it's self could have definitely been cleaned better. They did provide beach towels however they were rolled up and placed in a basket while they were still wet. The washer had a mildew smell to it and the cob webs were terrible. I really hope they get a handle on the cleanliness of the cabin because it is a very nice one.

We loved the sound of the river, and our pup enjoyed wading in it. The only thing that was a little inconvenient was cell service was spotty, but the wifi worked fine. Would definitely visit again!

The location on the river in the mountains is amazing. The cabin is newly remodeled and very nice. It was clean on arrival & there were no immediate issues. However, night one we saw a mouse. Given the rural location & traps in place we thought it was an isolated incident. However the longer we stayed the more apparent it become they currently have a real issue with rodents. Hopefully they can resolve this, and then it would be a great place. Do note that while the parking lot is flat (no crazy mountain driveway) it is in a curve of the road which makes backing no fun. Also there is very little space to walk a dog (the owner communicated this to us). But even our little dog we ended up driving to the near by park. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy most of the outside areas which are probably the best feature. We did notice the fire pit is right next to the neighbors driveway. If they back in the bumper is feet from the fire pit. Also beds are nice, good pillows, lots of large quality towels. Really if the mice were gone it would be 4.5 place.

Our family stayed here over Christmas and it had enough beds for our two teenagers, oursleves and my in-laws. The kitchen was well stocked and the view of the river was very pretty. We were able to take several scenic drives through the mountains and visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was a great experience. The only down side was the community space was limited so we kind of felt like we were on top of each other. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.

The property was just as pictured. I am familiar with the area so knew where it was generally located already. The river view is literally unbeatable. We loved it so so much and all girls said we would separately rent it again with our families or come back often for more girls weekends. It convenient to whatever you want to do in Townsend and again, the river being right there is priceless.

My buddy and I stayed here for 4 nights in April. Great location, river sound was so relaxing and cold! House is very updated and has everything you need when away from home!

Master bed was a bit hard and one toilet had to be played with to flush and refill. Those were minor. Otherwise it was just wonderful.

WOW just WOW!! Crystal River Cabin was absolutely amazing! We didn't know what we had been missing! The cabin is exactly as the Vrbo ad describes, it is beautiful. The river that was our backyard was gorgeous and so clear. The constant sound of the rushing water was so relaxing and brought our family back to what really matters in this crazy thing we call life! We will go back! This is the perfect place to stay! Everywhere we wanted to go was an hour or less away...Again just perfect! A big thank you to the owners for sharing their cabin with us! Please, if you are considering staying here...DO IT!!!

This cabin was the perfect spot to rest and recharge. The river was beautiful and the home is adorned with endless special touches. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was what we expected and more.

Displaced from home. Stayed 8 days. Great locaton , convienant but secluded. Beautiful riverfront views giving my family a nice distraction from the bad situation i was in. Owners and Matt from envolve were both outstanding helping me through. I will be staying again.

This was our 4th and my in-laws 1st trip to Townsend/GSM and it was amazing! Our main goal was to hike more of the trails, visit Cade's Cove, go horseback riding and just relax as a family. The cabin was perfectly situated for all of the activities (less than 30min drive) and we all enjoyed the campfires/s'mores by the river in the evening. We had dinner on the lower deck one night because the weather was perfect. My kids enjoyed the rope swing and plunging into the Little River as they felt it was quite "warm"! The River, by far, was the best attraction and loved the constant sound!!! There was plenty of space for all 6 of us to be comfortable, and the "kids room" was a perfect little nook for them to chill after a long day! We had a good amount of hiking gear/backpacks with us and it was never too cluttered, but closet space is a bit limited. The 2 queen mattresses were comfy, and there's plenty of extra pillows and blankets. I can't rate the bunks as I didn't sleep on them, but the kids loved it and said they were comfy! Having the 2 bathrooms/ DW and W/D was a great convenience!! We ate a few dinners out in town, and cooked/grilled others- there was plenty of basics for everything we needed. Peaceful Side Social had a great menu and the food was delicious!! IGA grocery store is less than 15min away in case you need pantry/grilling/food or household basics. Old Walland Road is close to the cabin, but noise from traffic and town was minimal. The outdoor furniture and areas to relax by are perfect after a long day of hiking in GSM!! You can tell the owners took care in planning the use of the indoor and outdoor spaces, and there are many nice features and personal touches. We also received a hand written card with a welcome, s'more fixings to get started with, as well as fresh coffee... small gestures mean so much!!! Thank you for helping to make a weeklong stay in TN so enjoyable and memorable for our family and grandparents. The fun times and memories are priceless!

Our family loved our stay at this amazing river side cabin. It was perfectly laid out for our family of five. Sitting on the deck listening to the river was a wonderful escape. Easy access to the park made this a great stay. We would come again.
