In August of 2025, I accidentally booked a one-night stay for this hotel on hotels.com for 9/13/26 instead of 9/13/25. The booking was a birthday gift for my elderly parents connected to a concert in Charlotte I was paying for them to attend as part of the gift. The date of the concert I needed a room for was 9/13/25. I realized my booking error within minutes and asked for the booking to be cancelled so that I could rebook with the correct date. It was a simple mouse-click error. The manager of the hotel refused to cancel or adjust the booking. One year later, they were still unwilling to work with me. I effectively was made to pay for an unused hotel room booked accidentally a year in advance of my stay that would have cost the hotel nothing. That's unacceptable for me, and I will never do business with this hotel again. My parents had a great time at the concert and a different hotel. So at least I have that.
