The house was pristine. The playrooms were fun for the kids. The layout of the house was great for a large group and the yard and play areas were also great. The kids liked collecting eggs in the morning. I can't say enough about the house or the experience.

I really cannot say enough good things about this house and the owners. From the moment you pull into the driveway and then walk in, it feels like home! The brownies were delicious and all of the little touches made all 10 of us feel like we were at home. Sheets were already on all the beds, coffee and condiments were provided, and every bathroom had huge bottles of nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I have never stayed at a house that the kitchen was so well stocked including flour, sugar, oil and spices. Our family loved the huge back covered deck/porch and of course the fresh eggs every morning. What a nice couple as well! They called us to be sure they would not be bothering us if they took care of a tree that a branch had fallen. Gary & Jennifer, we cannot thank you enough for your generous hospitality! You have a lovely home and we appreciate you sharing it with our family! We will definitely be back!

This house was the perfect setting for our family of 9. We had so much space, the home was so clean and well stocked. They really thought of everything we could possibly need. The Brownies at check-in was a superb touch, For us the best part was the back deck! We could have stayed out there the whole trip! Close to Colonial Williamsburg, Bush Gardens, Golfing and the Outlets this house was in the perfect spot! Hope to return soon!

Our friend group traveled to Williamsburg for a weekend golf trip and very much enjoyed our short stay here. The tucked-away house is well appointed and gave us all plenty of space and privacy, with our own separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor covered patio off the dining room is the star of the home (although the gas BBQ could be beefed up for grilling purposes!). There is ample parking in the driveway, bookended by lovely front and back yard space. Also great for families, with cute add-on spaces for kids throughout the house and a jungle gym off the driveway. There are railroad tracks nearby, so the occasional train does add a bit of outdoor noise. We found it to be a charming touch! The house is an easy 15-minute drive from the heart of Williamsburg. Hosts provided excellent check-in/check-out instructions and were communicative during our visit. Would definitely consider coming back in the future!

My friends and I had such a great time time making meals, cooking on the grill and chilin’ at the house after our rounds of local golf. Normally, I have to bring LOTS of things from home to make gourmet meals. Not here — cookware, serving bowls, plenty of glassware, everything needed to make nice meals at “home” - what a treat. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor is so inviting to chill after a day exploring and experimenting Williamsburg. I highly recommend this home and look forward to another stay!

Jennifer and Gary Campbell provided a wonderful home away from home for our family adventures. Their VRBO was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and very welcoming. The layout was spacious and able to accommodate our family comfortably with room to spare. The back deck offered a wonderful place for morning coffee and a great place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. The grill was easy to use. The chickens brought our daughters great joy. The kitchen offered everything we needed for all of our meals (we typically ate 2 meals a day at home). The cooler and ice packs made it easy to pack good and drinks for our adventures. We used the workout space often and our girls shot hoops for a bit nearly every day. We couldn’t have asked for a more central location (we travelled to Richmond, Jamestown/York town, Virginia Beach, Colonial Williamsburg ). It was easy to navigate to all these areas. Jennifer was very accessible and gracious in answering questions. Gary provided us with great restaurant recommendations. Thank you for opening this home to our family. Many amazing memories were created.

This house had something for everyone! The adults loved the porch and beautiful surroundings, the older kids enjoyed the privacy of the “secret bedroom” and the 4 year old loved all of the toys! There was plenty of space for everyone to eat together, play games and enjoy our extended family trip!

Plenty of space for our family of 9 to spread out and everyone have a bed. The house is even lovelier in person than the pictures show. The back covered porch with fans was a favorite of the adults and picking fresh eggs and having chickens roam around the property was a favorite of the kids. There are plenty of stores near by (Harris Teeter, Walmart, etc) and about 20 min from Colonial Williamsburg or Busch Gardens. Check in was smooth, easy and rapid communication with the owners, and an easy stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for big groups.

The house is simply amazing. It looks like the pictures, only the reality is better because you can’t picture how comfortable, cozy and yet spacious the house is. They’ve taken such good care of the home. It is clean and welcoming, and has the things you need to enjoy it. The back patio with coffee was one of our favorite times of day. That and visiting the adorable chickens! The hosts are so friendly and helpful, and generous. The plate of fresh brownies was appreciated by all. Our only regret was not having more time to enjoy the house itself because we were coming and going so fast. We will definitely be back! Thank you Gary, Jennifer and your family!

This is the second time that my group has stayed at this magnificent home. Both times we found that the home was furnished with anything that you may need. The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms and living room are clean amd large, the outside covered deck is huge with plenty of seating. The hosts could not have been more responsive to any communication. All was wonderful!

We rented this home for a business planning retreat and it was PERFECT! The owners were so accommodating and friendly! There were even fresh baked brownies with a welcome sign awaiting us when we arrived! It made us all feel so special! The home itself was VERY clean and EXTREMELY comfortable. There was plenty of room and a bathroom for each bedroom! We had one little hiccup with a fuse and the owners were very responsive and acted quickly to remedy the problem. We LOVED our stay and would most definitely go back!

This was probably the best VRBO I've ever stayed in. We were met with a plate of delicious brownies that were still warm and a spotless house that was thoughtfully decorated for Christmas. The property is beautiful and affords privacy with the amount of acreage. Our girls were able to get fresh eggs from the chickens each morning. Overall, we just felt really refreshed after staying here and would love to come again sometime. Thank you, Jennifer and Gary!

Stayed here with family for over 2 weeks. The house is very clean and one of the best we have stayed at for over 16 years of vrbo travel. Lots of kitchen tools, utensils, plates, etc. Wifi worked well to do work remotely. The location is perfect - about 10 miles to Colonial Williamsburg while yorktown, jamestown, and busch gardens are all about 15-30 min away. note: the house is by the train tracks and there are trains that run through out the day and night. You can really tell the owners take care of the place. Pictures and listing is accurate. shampoo, soap, etc is provided which is nice. Homemade brownies were made for our arrival was a very tasty surprise. We gathered cage free eggs pretty much every morning and had wonderful breakfasts. The owners were easy to get in contact with and were quite responsive. some feedback, but not a deal breaker at all - change master to king and add another night stand - upgrade quantity and quality of the bath towels - add a few more bathmats and towel racks all in all, the house provided a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend this place and if my travels take me to VA again, I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a great vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the property and the house. Small issue with one of the upstairs tub drainage first night, but we fixed it with hot water and plunger. Enjoyed the brownies and fresh chicken eggs.(nice extra)Loved the back porch! Overall enjoyable and visit to Old Town of Williamsburg! God Bless! Bill

We enjoyed the house very much.Would suggest arriving during daylight due to railroad track and location.Dryer in the laundry room needs too be checked. We washed and dried a load of laundry. Clothes smelled like mildew after using the dryer. Tewa shed the clothes. Dryer in garage was fine.

We stayed for a week for a family trip to Williamsburg. This is a beautiful home and property! The home was extremely clean and we could not have chosen a better place to stay! You can tell the owners are very thoughtful and considerate towards the guest!

This VBRO was absolutely incredible! Nestled in a country setting, complete with railroad tracks nearby, it is so close to the amazing Williamsburg. The house is immaculate. We were able to accommodate our whole work group without anyone feeling cramped for personal space. Adding “icing on the cake”, the home was decorated for Christmas- and that was such a great delight! We will definitely be back for our next planning retreat. Individuals in our team expressed their desire to rent the house personally. The experience of this rental will bring me back time and time again!

We didn't have children with us, but they have play areas and dress up clothes for the children to enjoy. We were invited to collect fresh eggs from the chickens, delicious! This is a very spacious house. It was set up perfectly for each of us to have our own bedroom-connected bathroom (en suite) too! We needed three such suites, and there are at least four in the house, nicely spaced. There’s also terrific outdoor space on a back deck, with ample furniture. It’s just a super property. New/clean/well-decorated. It’s on the edge of town, which we loved. Lots of trees/fields/sky, but immediate access to main roads. Only 15-20min from Colonial Williamsburg.
This is a very spacious house. It was set up perfectly for each of us to have our own bedroom-connected bathroom (en suite) too! We needed three such suites, and there are at least four in the house, nicely spaced. There’s also terrific outdoor space on a back deck, with ample furniture. It’s just a super property. New/clean/well-decorated. It’s on the edge of town, which we loved. Lots of trees/fields/sky, but immediate access to main roads. Only 15-20min from Colonial Williamsburg.

We really want to thank Jennifer and Gary for a wonderful place to stay! The home is beautiful in a very serene setting! When we checked in we thought it was way in the country, but it is actually very close to everything we needed and very close to all the historical parts of Williamsburg, Jamestown and York!It would be wonderful for several families with children to stay! Most of the bedrooms have private restrooms attached!Jennifer was very prompt answering any questions we had! Very nice people!You will really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it highly!

This was the third rental of our trip, and after a lackluster rental at our second spot, we were all really looking forward to arriving at Gary and Jennifer's place. I was worried we had hyped it up too much in our minds, but the house did not disappoint! Everything was clean and comfortable. My kids absolutely loved the basketball hoop and the tire swing, and my daughter couldn't get enough of the little toy closet in her room. From the homemade brownies to the various signs around the house letting us know how things worked, this place is very welcoming. Just one thing to note: the house is very close to the train tracks and trains do run through the night and can be very loud as they go past. Most of us slept right through it, but just be aware in case you're a light sleeper. Thanks to Gary and Jennifer for a great stay!

Booked this home for a 10 person bachelorette party. Was pleasantly surprised by the overall cleanliness of the house as well as the open concept and floor space. Also happily surprised by the fact that no one had to share a bed despite previously thinking we would need to! Owners were incredibly kind, receptive to messages and communicative. This was the PERFECT home for to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary!!! We had plenty of room for our party of 12! The house had all the things you would want when you are away, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, super clean, beautiful outdoor space. I HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking. It was also a prefect location to explore all the area offers: from Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Virginia Beach. The owners were also SUPER responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay!!!

We rented this home for a business planning retreat and it was PERFECT! The owners were so accommodating and friendly! There were even fresh baked brownies with a welcome sign awaiting us when we arrived! It made us all feel so special! The home itself was VERY clean and EXTREMELY comfortable. There was plenty of room and a bathroom for each bedroom! We had one little hiccup with a fuse and the owners were very responsive and acted quickly to remedy the problem. We LOVED our stay and would most definitely go back!

Stayed here with family for over 2 weeks. The house is very clean and one of the best we have stayed at for over 16 years of vrbo travel. Lots of kitchen tools, utensils, plates, etc. Wifi worked well to do work remotely. The location is perfect - about 10 miles to Colonial Williamsburg while yorktown, jamestown, and busch gardens are all about 15-30 min away. note: the house is by the train tracks and there are trains that run through out the day and night. You can really tell the owners take care of the place. Pictures and listing is accurate. shampoo, soap, etc is provided which is nice. Homemade brownies were made for our arrival was a very tasty surprise. We gathered cage free eggs pretty much every morning and had wonderful breakfasts. The owners were easy to get in contact with and were quite responsive. some feedback, but not a deal breaker at all - change master to king and add another night stand - upgrade quantity and quality of the bath towels - add a few more bathmats and towel racks all in all, the house provided a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend this place and if my travels take me to VA again, I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a great vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

While we didn’t need to use them, several of the large walk-in closets had been turned into baby/toddler/kid nooks which were adorable and so convenient for families traveling with little ones! The location was great, and we were about 15 minutes away from most things in Williamsburg. The hosts were fantastic with great communication. I highly recommend this beautiful home!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The owners were very hospitable and very responsive. We even had some car trouble on our last day and the owners offered to shuttle us if needed. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great home close to everything with a country feel and fresh farm eggs to enjoy each morning.

We booked this home for a W&M graduation weekend. Our intention was to have all family members stay together and spend time visiting local Williamsburg attractions before graduation. Before our arrival, the hosts were so helpful making recommendations for local restaurants/bakeries. They were very quick to respond to questions and requests. The home was so beautiful - spacious, nicely decorated, well-equipped. We loved the large bedrooms and kitchen as well as the backyard patio/deck. Each room was just lovely! The only “downside” was a very close train tracks. The whistles were a bit loud but many of us got use to them quickly. I would highly recommend this property to families staying in the Williamsburg area. I’m not sure if we’ll be back in the area but we would definitely book here again. And the Campbells are very thoughtful and generous hosts to work with. Thank you for making our special weekend even more enjoyable!

Plenty of space for our family of 9 to spread out and everyone have a bed. The house is even lovelier in person than the pictures show. The back covered porch with fans was a favorite of the adults and picking fresh eggs and having chickens roam around the property was a favorite of the kids. There are plenty of stores near by (Harris Teeter, Walmart, etc) and about 20 min from Colonial Williamsburg or Busch Gardens. Check in was smooth, easy and rapid communication with the owners, and an easy stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for big groups.

This is the second time that my group has stayed at this magnificent home. Both times we found that the home was furnished with anything that you may need. The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms and living room are clean amd large, the outside covered deck is huge with plenty of seating. The hosts could not have been more responsive to any communication. All was wonderful!

Our friend group traveled to Williamsburg for a weekend golf trip and very much enjoyed our short stay here. The tucked-away house is well appointed and gave us all plenty of space and privacy, with our own separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor covered patio off the dining room is the star of the home (although the gas BBQ could be beefed up for grilling purposes!). There is ample parking in the driveway, bookended by lovely front and back yard space. Also great for families, with cute add-on spaces for kids throughout the house and a jungle gym off the driveway. There are railroad tracks nearby, so the occasional train does add a bit of outdoor noise. We found it to be a charming touch! The house is an easy 15-minute drive from the heart of Williamsburg. Hosts provided excellent check-in/check-out instructions and were communicative during our visit. Would definitely consider coming back in the future!

Rented for one week for reunion of cousins from OR, MO, PA & VA, all over 60. Great house in nice rural setting. Location was ideal for day trips to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Williamsburg, and Jamestown. Only 45 minutes to Richmond airport. Clean, well maintained, would highly recommend.

It was a great experience staying at the Campbell House! The location is very close to downtown Williamsburg, attractions and shopping. Having fresh farm eggs each morning was amazing, plus having the fresh brownies when we arrived was a very nice treat. If you have kids, it is the perfect place for them to explore and play. We strongly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the Williamsburg area!

I really cannot say enough good things about this house and the owners. From the moment you pull into the driveway and then walk in, it feels like home! The brownies were delicious and all of the little touches made all 10 of us feel like we were at home. Sheets were already on all the beds, coffee and condiments were provided, and every bathroom had huge bottles of nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I have never stayed at a house that the kitchen was so well stocked including flour, sugar, oil and spices. Our family loved the huge back covered deck/porch and of course the fresh eggs every morning. What a nice couple as well! They called us to be sure they would not be bothering us if they took care of a tree that a branch had fallen. Gary & Jennifer, we cannot thank you enough for your generous hospitality! You have a lovely home and we appreciate you sharing it with our family! We will definitely be back!

The Brownies at check-in was a superb touch, For us the best part was the back deck! We could have stayed out there the whole trip! Close to Colonial Williamsburg, Bush Gardens, Golfing and the Outlets this house was in the perfect spot! Hope to return soon!

We were traveling with a large group of 13, ages 6-70. The house was big enough to accommodate and spacious so we were not on top of each other. We were there for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was large enough and equipped, for a few of us to cook a full Thanksgiving spread. The host (Jennifer) was wonderful. She had fresh brownies waiting on our crew. She came by mid stay for a trash pick up and was as nice as the come. The property location is great as you are in close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. We even went to VA Beach one day. Book if you are traveling to the area, you will not regret it!
We were traveling with a large group of 13, ages 6-70. The house was big enough to accommodate and spacious so we were not on top of each other. We were there for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was large enough and equipped, for a few of us to cook a full Thanksgiving spread. The host (Jennifer) was wonderful. She had fresh brownies waiting on our crew. She came by mid stay for a trash pick up and was as nice as the come. The property location is great as you are in close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. We even went to VA Beach one day. Book if you are traveling to the area, you will not regret it!

My friends and I had such a great time time making meals, cooking on the grill and chilin’ at the house after our rounds of local golf. Normally, I have to bring LOTS of things from home to make gourmet meals. Not here — cookware, serving bowls, plenty of glassware, everything needed to make nice meals at “home” - what a treat. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor is so inviting to chill after a day exploring and experimenting Williamsburg. I highly recommend this home and look forward to another stay!

This house is simply amazing!!! Wonderful space for multiple families to gather, relax and cook family meals together. House was beautifully decorated for Christmas—a nice touch since we were three families far from home for the holiday. The house was exactly as pictured in the listing/photos and the owners were super easy to communicate with. House is minutes from Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, New Town and other attractions. The farm fresh eggs and brownies were a nice touch!

Jennifer and Gary Campbell provided a wonderful home away from home for our family adventures. Their VRBO was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and very welcoming. The layout was spacious and able to accommodate our family comfortably with room to spare. The back deck offered a wonderful place for morning coffee and a great place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. The grill was easy to use. The chickens brought our daughters great joy. The kitchen offered everything we needed for all of our meals (we typically ate 2 meals a day at home). The cooler and ice packs made it easy to pack good and drinks for our adventures. We used the workout space often and our girls shot hoops for a bit nearly every day. We couldn’t have asked for a more central location (we travelled to Richmond, Jamestown/York town, Virginia Beach, Colonial Williamsburg ). It was easy to navigate to all these areas. Jennifer was very accessible and gracious in answering questions. Gary provided us with great restaurant recommendations. Thank you for opening this home to our family. Many amazing memories were created.

We booked this home for a W&M graduation weekend. Our intention was to have all family members stay together and spend time visiting local Williamsburg attractions before graduation. Before our arrival, the hosts were so helpful making recommendations for local restaurants/bakeries. They were very quick to respond to questions and requests. The home was so beautiful - spacious, nicely decorated, well-equipped. We loved the large bedrooms and kitchen as well as the backyard patio/deck. Each room was just lovely! The only “downside” was a very close train tracks. The whistles were a bit loud but many of us got use to them quickly. I would highly recommend this property to families staying in the Williamsburg area. I’m not sure if we’ll be back in the area but we would definitely book here again. And the Campbells are very thoughtful and generous hosts to work with. Thank you for making our special weekend even more enjoyable!

This home is lovely, cozy and spacious. I loved all the thoughtful touches such as the home being decorated for Christmas as we were in Williamsburg for Christmas Town. Wow! Plenty of kids toys, books, play stations. Kitchen was well stocked even had a crockpot. Very clean. The porch is huge and enjoyed the scenery from the back porch while sipping coffee by the fire pit. A tray of delicious brownies awaited our arrival. Looking forward to a return stay

This is the second time that my group has stayed at this magnificent home. Both times we found that the home was furnished with anything that you may need. The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms and living room are clean amd large, the outside covered deck is huge with plenty of seating. The hosts could not have been more responsive to any communication. All was wonderful!

This is a very family-friendly home-- lots of toys and amenities for children. We had 7 adults and 2 babies in our party and there was ample space for all with a crib, pack & play, high chair, and tons of toys for the kids. The fresh eggs each morning from their chickens were fun too! It's a quiet location--except when the train goes by, but they have sound machines in each room so just make use of them. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This property was lovely and just what our large family needed! With 5 bedrooms, we were able to spread out and not be on top of each other but still enjoy family time in the large common areas. Pros:-super clean! -plenty of indoor and outdoor space-our kids loved collecting and eating fresh eggs from the chickens -kitchen was well equipped and easy to navigate-each of the huge walk-in closets was a different activity for young children. One was a kitchen, one a store, one a dress up closet-there was a playground and a treehouse which our kids loved-great location—convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Busch Gardens and more-ample linens and towels were provided Cons:-4 of the 8 beds used by our family were uncomfortable. 1 mattress very hard, 1 with a large dip in the middle, one very lumpy, and 1 just generally uncomfortable -the only TV was in the open concept area downstairs. It would be nice to have a TV somewhere else so the kids could watch a cartoon without everyone having to hear it. -only 1 key was provided which was inconvenient with 6 adults trying to come and go at different times-the beautiful plush grass pictured in the listing was roped off and not to be walked on which was a little disappointing Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we returned to Williamsburg.

Fabulous!! The pictures do not do it justice. Family friendly, pristine and private. The hosts are terrific and the location is ideal for those looking for a spacious lay out in a very relaxing environment. This home has everything!!
