Stayed during sandpoint music festival. Close to everything greeted by deer every day. Wash and dryer great bonus. Was concerned about lack of air conditioning however window unit was awesome. Very clean can’t wait to stay again.

I stay in a lot of guest rentals and I also owned one myself. This one was a delight. From the moment you drive up to this private oasis, look at all the details from the grill, fire pit (stocked), rockers on porch and ALL the amazing amenities inside. Everything down to the hooks in the bathroom are very tasteful 'Cabin theme". Having laundry in a tiny cabin is an added bonus. THANK YOU!

Cute little cabin in the woods. We were able to enjoy the deer and the wild turkeys and even had a skinny friendly cat come to visit. The cabin itself was identical to the listing except did not realize how difficult it would be for women in their fifties to be able to go up and down that ladder to the loft. It was especially difficult to get my friends huge piece of luggage up there. We spent most of our time there outside and would have appreciated more wood for the fire pit. We would be more conscious next time to bring our own axe and wood to a unit with a fire pit. The weather was great and we enjoyed Sandpoint.

We had a great time staying at the Cabin in the Meadow in Sandpoint. The hosts Kris & Rachel, thought of everything and made the stay incredibly comfortable while we visited Sandpoint for the first time. There was great privacy and thoughtful touches throughout. They had a great AC unit for a hot weekend. Thanks so much for everything!

We had a great 4 day stay in the cabin. The owners provided so many nice features in the cabin - fresh eggs from their chickens, local beer and wine, various food items for our use, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with sundry items. Ken refreshed our wood each day for the fire pit. And a great selection of coffees for the Keureg was included The cabin was very clean and in a beautiful location. Thanks for sharing your property.

Everything about this cabin was perfect. It was so clean and comfortable. You can tell the owners have put a ton of work into it and we appreciated all of the small extra touches from the wine to the readers. We loved relaxing on the porch and really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The cabin is adorable. The furnishings and furniture are perfect! The location is close to town but feels remote. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is spa-like. Adding an oven would make the kitchen perfect. Time was forgotten and relaxation took over. Our check out was a little quirky, but we would rent the cabin again if we get the chance to return to Sandpoint.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and full of charm — we loved seeing wild turkeys and deer right in the yard. Evenings spent sitting by the fire under the stars were a highlight of our trip.Inside, the home was very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. The beds were cozy with excellent pillows, and plenty of towels were provided. The barbecue was great for cooking meals, and everything we needed was right there.One of the best parts was the location — it felt like we were far out in the woods, surrounded by nature, but in reality we were just a short drive to town.The host was extremely responsive and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend this property and would be happy to stay again!

Staying at Cabin in the Meadow was a dream! My partner and I stayed here for my birthday and were looking for a little escape from the city - we got exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was impeccably clean, and the hosts have an extraordinary attention to detail. There was everything we could ever need and more, to make our stay feel just like home. The cabin is rustic, cozy, and full of character, while at the same time being modern and comfortable. It is remote and private while also being super close to town. Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The cabin is by far the cleanest, and prettiest of all the places we have stayed. The decor had fun touches of antique and new, but everything was super nice and quaint. The small touches of chocolates, wine, beer, scones, and fresh eggs on top of the usual amenities like coffee just felt like our hosts had gone out of their way to make this the best VRBO experience possible. If I could have picked up this cabin and taken it with me, I totally would have on our epic 2 weeks of road trip travels. I love that the hosts were available if needed but respected our privacy and let us soak in the beautiful surroundings. If we are in Sandpoint again, I know where we are staying!

We really had a great stay. The communication with the owner was quick and easy. This very cozy cabin is really clean, loved the eye fot detail in the interior. We even had wild deer, chipmunks and turkey in the front yard passing by.Again it's a great perfect stay.

Our stay in this wooded tucked away cabin could not have been better. The cabin is so well done, immaculate and the hosts left amazing little goodies for us. From the towels, to the silverware, everything is top notch. We truly hope we can get back there someday. Loved it!

Very clean and neat, with everything you need for a nice relaxing stay. Very quiet and secluded even though you are conveniently close to town. The craftsmanship was very good and I appreciated the live-edge siding on the exterior. The snow was nicely plowed before we got there.

Cabin was cute and minimally furnished (in a good way). Every detail of decor was well thought out. We plan to come back in the winter. Only complaint is there is a main road nearby and is a little noisy (but the cabin interior is well insulated so we couldn't hear it inside).

Loved our stay! The cabin was even more wonderful than we expected. Rachel & Kris have truly created a cozy space and have thought of everything to make it a home-away-from-home! Clean, private & cozy... super well equipped cabin & they always responded quickly when we messaged. A few of our favourite things: the drinks & scones that welcomed us, having morning coffees on the deck, & fires at night at the fire pit. The very best part of this property is the privacy. For all the introverts out there, this is the recharge you need! When you're sitting on the porch, you can't see any other houses, just that gorgeous meadow and woods. You can on occasion hear some traffic from a nearby road but even me who is sensitive to traffic noise didn't mind it. The only minus - nothing is perfect - is it's a bit dark inside though the kitchen is well-lit. I use a tablet for reading and such so I didn't mind but if you're one who needs light, bring your own because it's such a small thing compared to all the pluses.

Nearly new, tastefully decorated cabin with turkeys in the woods. Very quiet and private. Nice shower. Fun to have a fire outside on a cold night. I failed to notice that the cozy loft is accessed by a ladder which wasn't ideal, my bad. Would return provided my buddy takes the loft next time!

Outstanding stay! We saw a moose 50 feet from the front deck on 2 seperate days! Also deer and wild turkeys one evening. The place is super clean, linens are first class, and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Easy access to restaurants in Sandpoint. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay! The cabin was even more wonderful than we expected. Rachel & Kris have truly created a cozy space and have thought of everything to make it a home-away-from-home! Clean, private & cozy... super well equipped cabin & they always responded quickly when we messaged. A few of our favourite things: the drinks & scones that welcomed us, having morning coffees on the deck, & fires at night at the fire pit. An all around lovely place to stay and we\'d love to come back someday!! Thanks for everything :) :) ~the "Biker Butts"

We had a great time staying at the Cabin in the Meadow in Sandpoint. The hosts Kris & Rachel, thought of everything and made the stay incredibly comfortable while we visited Sandpoint for the first time. There was great privacy and thoughtful touches throughout. They had a great AC unit for a hot weekend. Thanks so much for everything!

This is my second time staying at the cabin in the meadow. It is extremely quiet and peaceful and wonderful as a solo traveler. The bed is comfortable, the water is hot, and the coffee supply is seemingly never ending. The drive up to Schweitzer is fairly easy and also provide provides quick access into town.Even with a four-wheel-drive vehicle, the driveway is very steep. If weather conditions are icy, I recommend contacting Kris and Rachel to get a “parking spot“ cleared up top. I slid off the end of the driveway and could not get my vehicle back on solid ground by myself. Kris spent at least an hour trying to help me, but we ended up having to call a tow company for a winch out anyway. This is by no means a reflection of the property and the hosts were extremely gracious through the whole event. I appreciate their warmth and caring, and the laughs had at my expense . If my travels bring me back through Sandpoint, I will surely stay at this cabin for a third time.

The owners provided so many nice features in the cabin - fresh eggs from their chickens, local beer and wine, various food items for our use, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with sundry items. Ken refreshed our wood each day for the fire pit. And a great selection of coffees for the Keureg was included The cabin was very clean and in a beautiful location. Thanks for sharing your property.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and full of charm — we loved seeing wild turkeys and deer right in the yard. Evenings spent sitting by the fire under the stars were a highlight of our trip.Inside, the home was very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. The beds were cozy with excellent pillows, and plenty of towels were provided. The barbecue was great for cooking meals, and everything we needed was right there.One of the best parts was the location — it felt like we were far out in the woods, surrounded by nature, but in reality we were just a short drive to town.The host was extremely responsive and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend this property and would be happy to stay again!

The inclusion of small amenities like farm fresh eggs and cabin slippers were excellent touches from gracious hosts. If you are looking to stay in the area, I highly recommend this cabin and would stay there again if the opportunity allows.

The Cabin in the meadow is absolutely beautiful! We stayed there with our family and enjoyed every minute so much so that we didn't want to leave the property. The hosts, Kris and Rachel have thought of everything and we loved all of the special touches. The cabin is very well equipped and clean. The beautiful setting in the woods is truly breath taking...the deer greeted us each day. The hosts were very easy to reach and the check in was seamless. We will definitely be back!

The very best part of this property is the privacy. For all the introverts out there, this is the recharge you need! When you're sitting on the porch, you can't see any other houses, just that gorgeous meadow and woods. You can on occasion hear some traffic from a nearby road but even me who is sensitive to traffic noise didn't mind it. The only minus - nothing is perfect - is it's a bit dark inside though the kitchen is well-lit. I use a tablet for reading and such so I didn't mind but if you're one who needs light, bring your own because it's such a small thing compared to all the pluses.

Outstanding stay! We saw a moose 50 feet from the front deck on 2 seperate days! Also deer and wild turkeys one evening. The place is super clean, linens are first class, and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Easy access to restaurants in Sandpoint. Highly recommended!

We had the most amazing time staying in the Cabin in the Meadow. Our two boys loved the loft bed and the cabin size was comfy and perfect for our family. Every detail was thought of...from the little things you may have forgotten to fresh farm eggs and some local goodies. We loved the outdoor fire pit, sledding and feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere, but yet close enough to town and the ski mountain. The hospitality from the owners was great and we'd highly recommend this cabin! We greatly enjoyed our trip and hope to visit again soon!

This was a great place to stay! All the little details made it so comfortable. Extra blankets for sitting warmly on the porch, scones, wine/beer, homegrown eggs, mints, coffees, in addition to high-quality hardware and building details, antiques, and many other features show the owners' care and attention to detail. Although it was perfect as is, I might add a small selection of books and cushions on the porch rockers (which fit my xl body perfectly). We sat in those rockers and watched a deer and a flock of turkeys play follow-the-leader. Such a nice place! Thanks for a wonderful getaway.

Great location for hiking and restaurants. Great communication and we were even able to check in early. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this was our favorite. Book it!!!

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a conference. It was perfect and provided a peaceful setting to unwind. This little cabin was clean and cute! Heads up: the fridge is quite small (fitting for the small space), so bring a cooler. The decor was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Everything about this cabin was perfect. It was so clean and comfortable. You can tell the owners have put a ton of work into it and we appreciated all of the small extra touches from the wine to the readers. We loved relaxing on the porch and really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The cabin is adorable. The furnishings and furniture are perfect! The location is close to town but feels remote. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is spa-like. Adding an oven would make the kitchen perfect. Time was forgotten and relaxation took over. Our check out was a little quirky, but we would rent the cabin again if we get the chance to return to Sandpoint.

The cabin was gorgeous! When we arrived, they left a special message and provided drinks to celebrate our engagement. Firewood was provided as well as freshly laid eggs. People in Sandpoint are very polite. We intend on returning here for another trip in the future.
The cabin was gorgeous! When we arrived, they left a special message and provided drinks to celebrate our engagement. Firewood was provided as well as freshly laid eggs. People in Sandpoint are very polite. We intend on returning here for another trip in the future.

Cool vibe with an homage to "the old days" decor and furniture. The ladder to the loft was a bit sketchy and not for the feint of heart. Having the only bathroom an on-suite was a bit problematic and unexpected; that was the only real drawback of the space.
