Lavish Riverfront Escape w/ Gas Grill!

The size, design and open floor plan of this house was perfect for a large group like ours (19 people) and we recommend it as long as you are aware of a couple of caveats. The house featured the biggest and nicest dining table for family meals we have experienced. The barstool area was also well done and ideal for seating during dinner prep. The open floor plan on the main floor had plenty of seating and the pool table was a well used addition. We liked the lovely setting on the Caddo River with plenty of songbirds and deer sightings. The covered deck is also amazingly large and well furnished. There’s plenty to do on the river and in the surrounding area including short trips to the Crater of Diamonds State Park, the Daisy State Park and even Hot Springs. The double washers and dryers were also a tremendous amenity we haven’t seen often along with sheltered parking for 6 cars. The owner responded quickly with any concerns or questions.On the downside, we found the system of taking garbage and trash to a “trash house” at the gate to the property to be a negative experience. It wasn’t kept cleaned out or emptied often enough. The road from the gate was bumpy and our vehicles scraped bottom several times. The bridge over the creek was also a little dicey.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was in excellent condition and very well stocked. (The only thing we found lacking was no can opener.) The manager was very easy to communicate with, and we are looking forward to making this a yearly gathering! We had 17 people over 3 generations and everyone LOVED it!

We had a great time with family ranging from infant to grandparents. There was plenty of parking, plenty of places to play in the water, and the house was perfect for the 20 people we brought.

Great location for multiple families to meet and spend several days for Christmas. Property was decorated for Xmas and we had plenty of room to spread out and gather. Enjoyed beautiful views of Caddo. Rooms were neat and clean. Pool table was popular along with lighted deck where we setup a Corn Hole tournament space. Four married couples and 8 young adults from 13 to 20. Everyone loved it!

Our host went ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US. The home was spotless and set up for a wonderful family weekend.
