Surprised to discover bungalow is completely floating on water and attached to others by series of piers/docks! Once initial shock over, we enjoyed water living! Enjoyed live entertainment poolside and sandy area with palm trees felt like a private oasis. However, disappointed with lack of green space on site for walking dogs

Worked out really well for us. We brought 2 kids who weren't bunk bed ready, but we could just fit two playards into that room for them. My wife dropped her phone into the water unfortunately, but an employee went above and beyond to help me try to recover it. I really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. There are electrical vehicle chargers on site but I couldn't figure out how to use them.

We stayed in the floating bungalows. The location is clean and new with a beautiful pool and small beach area. Please note that you can sit in the beach area, you cannot access the ocean. The bungalows are small with no closet space, so keep this in mind. There is no dishwasher or laundry facilities, so plan accordingly. This is a lovely, quiet location for a vacation.

This was a new bungalow right on the water! Has all the amenities of a hotel room plus a full kitchen, full size fridge, living room, AC, heat. A screened deck attached in the front with tables and chairs. You could rent a boat if you'd like, or moor your boat there. Beautiful views of the bay right outside. There are bungalows that are stationary and there are ones that basically float on the water. Oh, and an outdoors swimming pool! Plenty of parking too!

This was absolutely wonderful. We were right on the waterfront. The porch looked out over the bay. The sunsets were magnificent. The pool was clean. Saturday night they had a band. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The bungalows were adorable and clean. It was well-maintained and just a cool place to stay. I really liked the pool and the "beach" area, and found the fire pits and corn hole boards there to be a welcome addition to our stay. I've already recommended it to others! Do take note: my family were the only people at the pool one day during our stay, and the music coming through the pool speakers was both too loud AND a genre that none of us were enjoying at all. I kindly requested that the station be changed, and was told that they couldn't change it. I then asked if it could be turned down, and was also told that it couldn't be. It was really weird -- and frankly, the four young men who responded to my request were clearly lying. About two hours later, other guests showed up and all of a sudden, the music DID get turned down. Lying and then not trying to make it a better experiencenfor us was just kinda a jerk move on their part, and unwarranted. I wasn't being hateful or demanding, and had simply requested it. They seemed offended that we didn't want to hear their music. Considering we were the only guests there, it made no sense, and I'm chalking it up to immaturity and/or just apathy. Either way, I hope this feedback can be a teaching moment.

My kids (13 and 7) spent a long weekend in one of the floating bungalow boats. We had a blast! The bungalow was super clean and cute. The views from our bungalow and our property were gorgeous. The pool overlooking the water was a hit also. We will likely come to stay again. Such a fun and unique experience.

I loved the whole experience of my stay here except for the beds. Very uncomfortable. I think new mattresses are needed, plus I don’t think my sheets were changed? There was sand and hair on them. Otherwise , the place was fresh and clean.

Overall, my stay was excellent. We had a family emergency and had to stay an extra night and I was accommodated. Check-in was super easy and they have wagons to bring your luggage to the bungalows. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because our shower had hair on the walls and our pots were not cleaned. Would stay again.

What a treat it was! We arrived the morning of the Nor'easter, so we basically had the entire place to ourselves. What an amazing stay. We stayed 4 days. The Bungalow was PRISTINE as well as the entire property. I couldnt believe it was the same place (Captain Bobs) that my Dad and i used to rent boats from in the 1960s. Job well done Blu Fin. JOB WELL DONE

Had a great time! We stayed on the floating bungalow. Everything was clean, smelled like bleach when we walked in. Shower was nice and big. Only complaint is guest bedroom with the bunkbeds barely got air so it was warm in there.

I loved staying in the bungalow! It had a beautiful view of the bay! Our first morning there, we saw dolphins and even a bald eagle on a stumo in the bay! Everything inside the bungalow was very clean and spacious. I highly recommend staying here if you decide to visit the island!

Bluefin cottage is a nice place to stay for a short time. Cottage bay views were stunning. The screen in porch was great especially since it rained an entire day during our stay. Love the kitchen living room and dining room spaces. The main bedroom is a little tight but the bunk bed room was nice. The reason why this property received 4 stars ; 1. The shower water turned cold in the middle of my shower that’s unacceptable especially for a building code official visiting for the first time actually it’s a code violation 2. Housekeeping must start cleaning screened in porch spider webs were on the walls and ceiling and dirty fingerprints were on all the doors. I had to clean and disinfect all shareable areas. We love that this property is a keyless no contact property. As a timeshare owner and frequently staying at nice hotels this cottage was a nice experience. Overall we will definitely stay here again💕

We had a wonderful time at BluFin Bungalows & Marina! My husband and I took our 7 month old son on his first vacation. Check-in was a breeze! We arrived after hours, and I was sent the passcode to let ourselves in! The bungalow and property were beautiful and very clean! There are a lot of things you can do on the property and everything else is a short driving distance. I highly recommend this property!

The view and the screened in porch were the best. Lots of mosquitoes at this time of year. Unit is wonderful. Clean, cozy, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful bathroom with a great shower and mattresses were really comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Can’t say enough good things. Looking forward to revisiting.

The floating bungalows are very nice, but you will feel some movement. There is one ramp to get to all the bungalows and it can be confusing if you arrive after dark.

The boat bungalow was definitely an awesome experience, however, they are so close together you can hear everything going on at the one next to you. You can’t open up any blinds unless you’re okay with people being able to look from their bungalow into yours. The screened in porch was great as well, but again, you’re right on top of your neighbor and it was hard to have any conversation because they’re right there with you. The interior was great. Just enough space for us to relax and be together. The shower did have some drainage issues and we could never shower at same time of day because the basin would fill up and take hours to drain after a shower. We were sad that they had closed the boat and jet ski rentals already for the season. When we booked, I had called and was told they wouldn’t be stopping rentals until 10/1, so definitely frustrating that they did in fact close up rentals early. It was definitely an experience and we enjoyed ourselves, but I probably wouldn’t stay there again just because of how close you are to the other boat bungalows and little privacy unless you shut yourself inside.

Been there before. New units within the last 2 years. The edge of the screened porch is 5’ from the water. Great view of the bay. Not 4 stars - but nicely done. Kitchen has most of the basics. Bathroom is good. The queen bed is a little cramped in the bedroom.

I thought these were beachfront view but the view was the other bungalows. The room was freezing when we got in and no instructions on how to change I had to Google for the manual. The 2 tvs had remotes that were connected and we had to unplug the one to get the other tv to work with the controller. The room was very nice and clean. Would have liked to have more coffee packs.

Shower is nice but water only warm. Toilet area cramped.No bumpers so if windy hits the dock can be loud. Couch is low. No directions for thermostat. Nice kitchen and nice to sit at table outside if weather is good.Very Very close to n

Overall, my stay was excellent. We had a family emergency and had to stay an extra night and I was accommodated. Check-in was super easy and they have wagons to bring your luggage to the bungalows. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because our shower had hair on the walls and our pots were not cleaned. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at BluFin Bungalows & Marina! My husband and I took our 7 month old son on his first vacation. Check-in was a breeze! We arrived after hours, and I was sent the passcode to let ourselves in! The bungalow and property were beautiful and very clean! There are a lot of things you can do on the property and everything else is a short driving distance. I highly recommend this property!

The bungalows were adorable and clean. It was well-maintained and just a cool place to stay. I really liked the pool and the "beach" area, and found the fire pits and corn hole boards there to be a welcome addition to our stay. I've already recommended it to others! Do take note: my family were the only people at the pool one day during our stay, and the music coming through the pool speakers was both too loud AND a genre that none of us were enjoying at all. I kindly requested that the station be changed, and was told that they couldn't change it. I then asked if it could be turned down, and was also told that it couldn't be. It was really weird -- and frankly, the four young men who responded to my request were clearly lying. About two hours later, other guests showed up and all of a sudden, the music DID get turned down. Lying and then not trying to make it a better experiencenfor us was just kinda a jerk move on their part, and unwarranted. I wasn't being hateful or demanding, and had simply requested it. They seemed offended that we didn't want to hear their music. Considering we were the only guests there, it made no sense, and I'm chalking it up to immaturity and/or just apathy. Either way, I hope this feedback can be a teaching moment.

Awesome place!!! We stayed in a floating bungalow and it was adorable, very clean, and the perfect size. And a big shout out to the staff. There were a few issues with power outages but staff responded immediately and the fix was seamless - thanks Gary!!

We stayed in the floating homes and while it was unique, i think next time I'd stay in the ones on land. The floating ones are packed together, facing each other, while the land ones are all on the waters edge and get a view of the sunset every night. But that aside they were very clean, we had everything we needed and the price was great. The only reason we gave it one less star was it was sometimes hard to communincate with the office. When we asked forhelp with the living room tv which wasn't working correctly, they said they'd come by while we were out to fix it. They never came in the 4 days we were there. We tried stopping at the office several times, but no one seemed to ever be there when we were. Other than that we had a great stay.

Posizione sul lungomare un po' distante dal centro città, ma facilmente raggiungibile in auto o in bicicletta per negozi e attività. Il noleggio in loco rende le gite convenienti, anche se l'acqua può essere poco profonda per la pesca e possono comparire zanzare o tafani stagionali.

Blufin property was very clean. With it being pet friendly we assumed there would be signs of previous pets, but there was not. Very clean/smelled good. I had read about the proxomity from parking to bungalow but the provided carts were so helpful and really made it a non-issue. The only thing negative I can say is the surrounding space was not very "pet friendly" with it being a lot of sandy, shelly areas with sparse grass, but that is typical for a beachy area.

What a great spot, I will definitely be back. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was very efficient. Far enough removed from all the usual hotspots that there wasn’t a ton of traffic. Great view across the water.

Stayed here for Pony Round up. Perfect location. We rented a boat right from the location to watch the ponies swim across and then were able to walk down the street to watch the parade. Place was super clean!

We stayed in the floating bungalows. The location is clean and new with a beautiful pool and small beach area. Please note that you can sit in the beach area, you cannot access the ocean. The bungalows are small with no closet space, so keep this in mind. There is no dishwasher or laundry facilities, so plan accordingly. This is a lovely, quiet location for a vacation.

This bungalow was beautiful! It was right on the water and my family was able to rent a boat right there so that they could go fishing. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable. It was close to town so that i could walk around and shop. The staff were great and helpful from telling us the best places to eat to use of their amenities.

We had a wonderful Spring Break getaway at Blue Fin. The waterfront cottage was comfortable for my two teenage daughters and myself. The view from the screened porch is amazing and I spent many hours there reading even though it was chilly I couldn’t resist! We arrived after hours and had no issue getting in with the code that was send earlier in the day. We are already talking about staying here again in the warmer months when we could enjoy the waterfront beach area and pool!

The view and the screened in porch were the best. Lots of mosquitoes at this time of year. Unit is wonderful. Clean, cozy, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful bathroom with a great shower and mattresses were really comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Can’t say enough good things. Looking forward to revisiting.

Wonderful place, had the most relaxing time here on the water. Friendly, helpful staff, everything we needed in what was a tiny house rather than a hotel room.Loved the dog friendliness here too ,we chose this place because they allowed dogs. The place was so quiet and low key too,everything was quiet after 10. Chincoteague is a charming ,picturesque island, town with multiple delicious food options. Cannot wait to stay at Blu Fin again!

If, like me, you always wanted to stay in a floating bungalow but the Maldives and BoraBora are not currently in you budget, here is a great option! Affordable, super clean, and comfortable, these bungalows are close to the fun, restaurants, and activities. You may see the wis ponies wandering about or enjoy the beautiful views from your screened in porch overlooking the water. Drivable from NY and surrounding states, it’s easy to get to and the check in process is simple. I highly recommend! See the website for pics.

The property was amazing. Having the comforts of home right on the water was perfect for my multigenerational family. Everything was clean and fully operational. We also appreciated the proximity of the property to many local shops, restaurants, and more. We will definitely be staying here again.

Accommodations at the Blufin Bungalows were excellent. Staying on a houseboat was such a fun experience. Nothing beats being lulled to sleep by a rocking boat. The screened-in porch was a lovely place to enjoy our morning coffee and breakfast. The check-in was seemless. I would definitely stay there again.

I love staying here. The view is beautiful and there are activities like renting jet skis or boats for fishing. It is in close proximity to all of the local restaurants and shopping.

Check in was a breeze. Our room was ready and door code activated at exactly the check in time. The bungalow was cool, clean and perfect size. The only concern I had with the room was a crack in the shower pan, but it appeared to be old, and I imagine it would be replaced in the off season. It did not affect the function of the very large shower. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well. Any time we had an issue, help was there quickly (lost power, tripped a breaker, needing TP or towels etc.) Everyone on site was friendly. My only suggestion for improvement is to have a laundry machine available at the marina house - there is no laundromat on the island, and our trip was 8 days - we were running on fumes and dirty clothes by the last day. Would be convenient to have a coin laundry in one of the office spaces at the Marina to run a quick load. We cannot wait to return!

Room was clean food on island wasn't to great and was pretty expensive. Blu fin was great other then septic system fills quick ac worked amazing very cold was great
