The place was absolutely stunning and staff has very warm pure Balinese hospitality♡ Room was simple, cozy, tidy and very comfortable. Little swimming pool was nice too. I used to lived in Bali for 7years and this place was absolutely perfect for me to remind me Bali I fall in love 17 years ago... Higly recommend to people who wanna taste the pure Balinese culture.

I highly recommend this B&B. We were there for 5 blissful days early May of 2025 and had a fantastic group of people there, Putu, Yuni and Parem (apologies if I spelt it wrong) making our stay in Tanjung Benoa a very pleasant, relaxing and memorable one. They went over and beyond at times to assist us like offering to pick up medicine at the pharmacy. When I asked for a new towel they did it immediately. There’s always someone at reception ready to greet us while we were there. Great atmosphere and whilst there we had the pool all to ourselves! We love the gardens and having our tasty breakfast next to it. The place emits a rustic vibe of a quiet rural living which is exactly what we were looking for.

It was a lovely boutique B&B tucked in a residential area, right across from the Water Sports Center. It has a lovely garden. The room is spacious with all the basic things you will need. It was a wonderful "homey" experience.

Hotel was lovely, even had a library for swapping books in many different languages. Lots of greenery, but because there was 2 dirty ponds with fish that I felt sorry for, it attracted mosquitos. I did not like the area around, it was very run down with not many restaurants to suit western tastes. Many restaurants have closed down in the area. I went for water sports, which there is plenty, but the beach was not pleasant and was dirty. Queen room was very dark with limited light, lotus 3 was better although noisy as next to small road. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although if you eat in restaurant be patient, you can sit there easily for 10 mins and you have to get their attention when you patience runs out and was bitten by mosquito 3 times waiting to order my breakfast, although guests in other seats were not effected, I was very unlucky every morning seated in the middle

This was a lovely place. Clean. Quiet. Safe. The pool was small but great. The only downside for us was the property’s reliance on small, single-use plastic water bottles. We were given one each upon arrival, but there was no way to refill them with filtered water on the property. In today’s world, we should all be working together to do all we can to end single use plastics and conserve resources.

Price point matters. Do not compare this to a much more expensive location, that would be unfair. At this price, this is a superior option. The garden is beautiful. The swimming pool although small in size is clean. The room has more than sufficient amenities for this price. The air conditioner works great. The staff is professional. You will be happy.

The pool is big enough and surrounded by lovely plants. Our room was large, authentic and had a lovely dining table and kitchen. Yummy breakfast and other meals we ordered. Great value.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, malgré notre arrivée tres tardive, un membre du personnel nous attendait avec le sourire. Un petit havre de paix niché en retrait dans un magnifique jardin avec piscine. Un lit confortable une chambre ou rien ne manque, et même une kitchnette si vous souhaitez cuisiner un peu. Des restaurants a proximité ou l'on peut se rendre a pieds, et bien situé pour découvrir le sud de l'île. Merci a tout le personnel pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil, nous avons passés trois nuits, bien apprécié cet endroit en retrait du tumulte des grandes stations balneaire.

2泊だけの滞在でしたが施設が古いことを除けば全てにおいて満足しています。スタッフは皆さんフレンドリーです。お部屋にはキッチンもついており長期滞在にも便利だと思います。朝食のナシゴレンは絶品です。 海まで徒歩数分で行けるので日の出や砂浜の散歩が楽しめます。 コンビニ、ドラッグストア、ビーチクラブ、レストランが目の前にあり困ることはありません。大きなスーパーマーケットやショッピングモールなどはありませんが静かに過ごしたい人には大変おすすめです。 この地域は近くでマリンスポーツが楽しめますが、私は何もせずのんびり過ごし、十分満足しています。

I can’t thank the owners & staff enough for making me welcome & ensuring my was really special. Special thanks to Putu, Numan, Malik & Juni. The accommodation & grounds are beautiful with lots of Balinese character. Very serene & tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. The accomodation is really suited to a more mature clientele. I’d say it’s not really a place for kids as it’s so quiet & the pool is big enough but rather small for kids frolicking. Minor feedback: I would suggest replacing the towels & ensuring their whiteness & softness. Thank you again to all the staff at Pondok Agung 🙏 Tracy

We stayed for 3 night and the place is lovely , super quiet and the staff and owners are amazing. Was a great place to switch off and relax, if you use to and want the hustle of Kuta etc then this place is not for you, if you want peace and quiet with a good selection of restaurants all within walking distance , then this is the place ,Clean rooms might be a little dated but it’s all there and works and the pool is a winner , Will stay again

We stayed for 3 night and the place is lovely , super quiet and the staff and owners are amazing. Price point matters. Do not compare this to a much more expensive location, that would be unfair. At this price, this is a superior option. The garden is beautiful. The swimming pool although small in size is clean. The room has more than sufficient amenities for this price. The air conditioner works great. The staff is professional. You will be happy.

The pool is big enough and surrounded by lovely plants. Our room was large, authentic and had a lovely dining table and kitchen. Yummy breakfast and other meals we ordered. Great value.

The place was absolutely stunning and staff has very warm pure Balinese hospitality♡ Room was simple, cozy, tidy and very comfortable. Little swimming pool was nice too. I used to lived in Bali for 7years and this place was absolutely perfect for me to remind me Bali I fall in love 17 years ago... Higly recommend to people who wanna taste the pure Balinese culture.

I can’t thank the owners & staff enough for making me welcome & ensuring my was really special. Special thanks to Putu, Numan, Malik & Juni. The accommodation & grounds are beautiful with lots of Balinese character. Very serene & tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. The accomodation is really suited to a more mature clientele. I’d say it’s not really a place for kids as it’s so quiet & the pool is big enough but rather small for kids frolicking. Minor feedback: I would suggest replacing the towels & ensuring their whiteness & softness. Thank you again to all the staff at Pondok Agung 🙏 Tracy

We were there for 5 blissful days early May of 2025 and had a fantastic group of people there, Putu, Yuni and Parem (apologies if I spelt it wrong) making our stay in Tanjung Benoa a very pleasant, relaxing and memorable one. They went over and beyond at times to assist us like offering to pick up medicine at the pharmacy. When I asked for a new towel they did it immediately. There’s always someone at reception ready to greet us while we were there. Great atmosphere and whilst there we had the pool all to ourselves! We love the gardens and having our tasty breakfast next to it. The place emits a rustic vibe of a quiet rural living which is exactly what we were looking for.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the garden was beautiful and so relaxing, and the area was lovely. Everything was in walking distance and the beach is literally across the road. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay there again.

It was a lovely boutique B&B tucked in a residential area, right across from the Water Sports Center. It has a lovely garden. The room is spacious with all the basic things you will need. It was a wonderful "homey" experience.

Hotel was lovely, even had a library for swapping books in many different languages. Lots of greenery, but because there was 2 dirty ponds with fish that I felt sorry for, it attracted mosquitos. I did not like the area around, it was very run down with not many restaurants to suit western tastes. Many restaurants have closed down in the area. I went for water sports, which there is plenty, but the beach was not pleasant and was dirty. Queen room was very dark with limited light, lotus 3 was better although noisy as next to small road. Having a great time to stay in this garden surrounding B&B. Unique garden design for your relaxation, including pool, library and gazebos. Putu (the manager) is a great person to help you in all aspects, two thumbs up. Location wise, very convenience. Beach right across the street for you to pick any water sports. You could walk on the curb (hardly find on the Bali) to the convenient stores, foods or massage (only cost us IDR 200,000 for 2.5 hours massage). For sure we will come back again.

This was our second stay at Pondok in a Superior Studio room. The studio had a good sized separate bedroom, an outdoor covered area with table and chairs and a lounger plus a small kitchenette with large fridge. The studio was on its own on an upper floor accessed by stairs. The property is beautifully landscaped and with traditional style buildings. The smallish pool is perfectly adequate and a choice of Continental, Balinese or American style breakfast is included. While not buffet standard it was perfectly adequate and the evening meals were very nice, especially the Nasi Goering and the Spring Rolls. The tariff is very good as are the lovely staff. The only downside from our perspective was the very limited restaurants close by otherwise it was a 500m plus walk away. The beach close by is not suitable for swimming as it is where all the water sports activities are. We would stay again but just for a few nights. If you are into water sports it would be a perfect place to stay.
