Haus am Wasser in Toledo Bend mit eigenem Dock!

While the interior of the house was acceptably clean and comfortable, the exterior was very filthy. The front door patio was covered with thick dirt/mud. There were spiderwebs covering all the exterior furniture, woodwork, and windows. Both grills were very dirty. The MAJOR issues regarding the house were that the back sliding doors didn’t close, letting bugs in. The only way to lock that door was with a makeshift pole in the track. This pole was the only thing keeping the door shut, so if you went out, the door would roll back open. The game room sliding doors had no window coverings, which resulted in no privacy at night for our young kids. Also, the master bath and bedroom had no air-conditioning. We did love the layout, the boat ramp, and the boat dock deck was nice after we swept it. The host was extremely pleasant and helpful upon arrival. The location was great, and the neighbors very friendly. We would highly recommend this property if exterior conditions are improved, air conditioning is added, and doors/window coverings are addressed.

Stayed here for the weekend with my family. Beautiful views, clean property. Hosts were always available to answer questions before and during our stay. It was 7 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of room and never felt crowded. Starlink internet was a plus! Fabulous weekend. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay. The rental was in a perfect location. One or two miles from groceries, gas, bait, etc. the view was beautiful. Communication with our contact, Sandy, was easy and she quickly responded. I would return to this location. It was quiet and peaceful. We cooked inside and out. They had plenty of pans. We were happy we brought our own favorite, large pot to cook in . The showers were hot and had excellent pressure. We seldom used the camp and stayed on the deck that had more than enough electrical outlets to add a couple of fans to the two they provide. Thank you.
