Schone rustige kamer, ruim. Eten was goed, bar was gezellig, personeel vriendelijk en een welkomst drankje bij check in. Er is een spa, zwembad en fitnessruimte. Min punt er was weinig parkeerplek en na het elektrisch laden van de auto geen plek meer bij het hotel. En het uitzicht is op een industrieterrein. Tv op de kamer werkte niet.

It was difficult to find the entrance to the carpark for the hotel. Safe parking with barrier entry. €10 per night. Restaurant was the only place to eat in the evening due to refurbishment. Food and service were excellent although a bit pricey The roof top bar was closed on the Wednesday night when we stayed Separate toilet and shower room ( no door on shower room ) which was handy. Lighting in shower room wasn't very bright, not good enough to put your make up on ! Selection of teas was limited to either green tea of earl grey. We felt that the pillows were too soft and there was no opportunity to change. Breakfast selection was extensive, we enjoyed our meal. Overall a good stay but could have been a bit better for the price

Hôtel moderne dans une zone plutôt industrielle à quelques kilomètres du centre de Gand. Aucune nuisance sonore. De nombreuses chambres.Accueil professionnel. Intérieur luxueux. Chambre spacieuse, grand lit, belle salle de bains, deux bouteilles d'eau offertes. Nous n'avons pas essayé le spa, sauna, ni la salle de sport pourtant très bien équipée. Petit déjeuner buffet très copieux, produits de qualité.

Modern hotel located next to a large stadium and an industrial zone, in the outskirts of Gent. Although it was a bit difficult to navigate the narrow alleys leading to the hotel entrance, it is conveniently located next to major motorways and about 10 minutes driving to the city center. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. Parking is convenient and plentiful, it costs 10 euro per night. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The nice restaurant located on the ground-floor was quite busy on a Saturday night and on a holiday night but easily available on weekdays. The menu was impressive and quite pricy. You can have drinks and snacks in the lobby and they make ordering very easy on line. Service was prompt, actually faster than in the restaurant on a busy night. They provided an amazing breakfast with endless choices that should meet anyone's expectations. Breakfast was included in the price of the room for the duration of out stay. Public transportation is available to the train station where you have to change to the citycenter, but only runs on weekends up to 8pm. You can conveniently buy tickets on the buss. There is a large supermarket opposite to the hotel and a small refrigerator available in (all?) rooms. The hotel does not have a pool, but only a spa. We did not use it.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel. Sauberkeit ist im ganzen Hotel sehr gut. Lobby sehr einladend. Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt. Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet. Bett sehr bequem. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen.

Multiple issues with this hotel. Carpets were dirty in both the room and the hallways. Furniture was worn and sheets used were of low quality. If you order room service, you are charged a fee of 15 euros. The hotel is on the industrial fringe but they charge you 9 euros per day for parking. No baggage assistance. This hotel is 3 stars at best with poor service.

Wir hatten das Zimmer 444 und ich muss sagen das war mit Abstand das schönste und größte Hotelzimmer was wir je hatten. Sehr schöne und große Regendusche, bequemes Bett, sehr sauber alle Hotel Einrichtungen, reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, sehr aufmerksames Personal, gute Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln an die Innenstadt, Buslinie 08,fährt alle 15 Minuten in der Nähe vom Hotel ab, wir müssen sagen das war ein rund rum gelungener Städtetrip.

Rooms- the rooms were very specious and well kept. Very high tech i.e. scanning key before selecting floor. Easy to request for room service and 'do not disturb' Easy control of the heating. Breakfast- excellent spread of food and choice. The best breakfast I have had for a long while. Minimum 10/10 rating. Staff- nothing to fault. Great level of service and staff very friendly and approachable. Very professional. Location- great to get into town very easily with cabs/Uber. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be returning.

Suite spacieuse et bien équipée très propre. Réservation pour 3 personnes mais seulement 1 grand lit dans la chambre donc il a fallu payer un supplément pour lit d appoint. Robinetterie très propre mais mal montée. Bouge dans la baignoire. Mini frigo hs qui ne fonctionne pas…pas utile pour moi en hiver mais l’été ça peut aider.

La chambre était très belle, mais j’ai rencontré un problème avec l’évacuation de l’eau dans la douche. L’eau ne s’écoulait pas correctement, ce qui m’a obligé à interrompre l’utilisation pour éviter un débordement. Je n’ai donc pas pu profiter d’une douche chaude comme prévu après une longue journée de travail.

Grande chambre lumineuse et moderne avec du rangement, un frigo avec des bouteilles d'accueil, une bonne literie et une jolie salle de bain. Bon wifi, clim/chauffage efficace et spa très sympa. Par contre le parking est payant et pas d'autre possibilité pour se garer aux alentours, la vue est sur le parking (mais c'est très calme) et les rideaux laissent beaucoup trop passer la lumière du jour.

Grande chambre lumineuse et moderne avec du rangement, un frigo avec des bouteilles d'accueil, une bonne literie et une jolie salle de bain. Bon wifi, clim/chauffage efficace et spa très sympa. Par contre le parking est payant et pas d'autre possibilité pour se garer aux alentours, la vue est sur le parking (mais c'est très calme) et les rideaux laissent beaucoup trop passer la lumière du jour.

Superbe hôtel en périphérie de Gand. Chambre familiale magnifique, très spacieuse, avec un espace dédié aux enfants avec lit superposé, peluches, livres, et une grande salle de bains (douche + baignoire). Literie très confortable et chambre très calme. Par contre, l'hôtel est situé dans une zone industrielle, quasiment aucune offre de restauration disponible hors de l'hôtel, avec un restaurant complet à notre arrivée. Bien penser à réserver un restaurant avant, sinon possible de commander boissons et snacks dans le bar du lobby

The hotel is excellent. The room was very good with a comfortable bed and breakfast is amazing. The only downside is that the bus does not run at the weekend so it is a 15 min walk to the tram stop at the hospital.

Amazing hotel for families.The family suite really spacious and clean.Kids room with bunker beds, kids book and teddy bear. Very friendly staff, welcome drink champagne and small plush toys for the kids. Room with a nice view and very comfortable bed. Wood room card, no plastic. Special kids box with shampoo and bath amenities. Morning breakfast buffet very good with a lot of options and everything really tasty and fresh. Totally recommend it for a family stay.

Rooms- the rooms were very specious and well kept. Very high tech i.e. scanning key before selecting floor. Easy to request for room service and 'do not disturb' Easy control of the heating. Breakfast- excellent spread of food and choice. The best breakfast I have had for a long while. Minimum 10/10 rating. Staff- nothing to fault. Great level of service and staff very friendly and approachable. Very professional. Location- great to get into town very easily with cabs/Uber. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be returning.

Another great stay at this hotel for us as a family. When ever we have the opportunity to stay in Belgium we chose Van der Valk for simply great servive we receive. This year on our return to UK from our trip to Europe we chose this hotel again and our experience again was lovely. From check in to the room choice and great breakfast we received an outstanding service.

Arrivée a 10h30, j'ai demandé si on pouvait éventuellement me preparer ladite chambre en priorité pour que je puisse me poser un peu. Et bien j'ai reçu un fin de non recevoir, je ne pouvais pas accéder a ma chambre avant 15h, sauf si je payais 10€ de l'heure jusqu'à 15h, soit 45€!!!!! La chambre coutant déjà 187€ la nuit! On marche vraiment sur la tete.....c'est une véritable honte!!! Le service n'est pas top.....bref je ne recommande pas, ils ne le meritent pas!!!!!

Multiple issues with this hotel. Carpets were dirty in both the room and the hallways. Furniture was worn and sheets used were of low quality. If you order room service, you are charged a fee of 15 euros. The hotel is on the industrial fringe but they charge you 9 euros per day for parking. No baggage assistance. This hotel is 3 stars at best with poor service.

Quality, luxury and high-tech are 3 words that come to mind. A distance from Ghent centre but easy and exciting transport on local bus and tram. Staff are first class - special mention of a waitress in the Lobby bar ( short Cambodian lady) who provided friendly and excellent service to my family.

Nice hotel but located in an industrial area, so you need to take a taxi to get to the city center (the bus does not pass by during the weekends). Great hotel with high room standards, as always for Van der Valk hotels. 3 restaurants + skybar in the hotel. We ate at two of them. Had a 6 course meal at Mr. Sato which unfortunately was on the average (it was saved by the meat dish and a very good dessert) so there is room for improvement (waited 20 min for a non-alcoholic beer after having reminded 3 waiters. The cutlery was not changed between the different courses, just left straight on the table which had no table cloth. Not quite the standard you expect for a EUR 80 meal). Overall a good hotel experience and Gent was a beatiful city.

Property clean and staff excellent. Approach to hotel felt like an industrial estate and view from window the same. Car is necessary to go into town. Lighting in dining room too dark at breakfast, and not enough light in room for reading. Good car parking (surface and underground) at a reasonable rate.

Modern hotel located next to a large stadium and an industrial zone, in the outskirts of Gent. Although it was a bit difficult to navigate the narrow alleys leading to the hotel entrance, it is conveniently located next to major motorways and about 10 minutes driving to the city center. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. Parking is convenient and plentiful, it costs 10 euro per night. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The nice restaurant located on the ground-floor was quite busy on a Saturday night and on a holiday night but easily available on weekdays. The menu was impressive and quite pricy. You can have drinks and snacks in the lobby and they make ordering very easy on line. Service was prompt, actually faster than in the restaurant on a busy night. They provided an amazing breakfast with endless choices that should meet anyone's expectations. Breakfast was included in the price of the room for the duration of out stay. Public transportation is available to the train station where you have to change to the citycenter, but only runs on weekends up to 8pm. You can conveniently buy tickets on the buss. There is a large supermarket opposite to the hotel and a small refrigerator available in (all?) rooms. The hotel does not have a pool, but only a spa. We did not use it.

It was difficult to find the entrance to the carpark for the hotel. Safe parking with barrier entry. €10 per night. Restaurant was the only place to eat in the evening due to refurbishment. Food and service were excellent although a bit pricey The roof top bar was closed on the Wednesday night when we stayed Separate toilet and shower room ( no door on shower room ) which was handy. Lighting in shower room wasn't very bright, not good enough to put your make up on ! Selection of teas was limited to either green tea of earl grey. We felt that the pillows were too soft and there was no opportunity to change. Breakfast selection was extensive, we enjoyed our meal. Overall a good stay but could have been a bit better for the price

We stayed at this hotel for our Euro family vacation in August 2026. It's in a great location, with an Albert Heijn supermarket at the back and a Tesla supercharger at the front. They have basement parking, which was nice. Hotel quality is excellent throughout. Staff was friendly. They respond to emails quickly if you have any questions. Rooms are big as well as the corridors. So much space. Cottes restaurant has amazing food. Reasonably priced as well. I had a pork ribs starter that came to my table a bit cold. It was sorted and was delicious. Breakfast was also great with lots to choose from. Only problem I had with my room was the air conditioner & bathroom exhaust stopped working mid stay which was a shame. They offered to change to a new room the night before were going to leave so we declined as it was too much of a hassle to move. Overall I was happy with this hotel & would stay again in the future.
