Excellent location since my international flight was scheduled to arrive before midnight and my next flight was early morning. A no-frills hotel room. Rug was stained. Good shower pressure. Generally overpriced, in my opinion

Flight delays brought me in late at 10:15pm, and as the Connie bar was closing at 10:30pm, I hurried to at last get one drink and experience the sensational drawcard. As I got there at 10:20, I was the only one there, and went to the bartender to order one quick drink, just to know I experienced it and take some photos. The bartender told me he called last drinks a few minutes ago (when I wasn't there) and said they were closed. But I said it closed at 10:30, so could I at least get 1 drink...a beer? He reluctantly and begrudgingly served me my beer, but then said I couldn't drink it in the Connie as they were closing (despite it being only 10:20) so I asked if I could take just a few photos, he huffed and begrudgingly allowed me. I was like a kid in the candy store at the hotel, as I LOVED the style, attention to detail, amenities, THE CONNIE! , but to be greeted like a nuisance by that bartender did rattle my vibes. I would still recommend going as the hotel is FANTASTIC, but make sure you get to the Connie bar in PLENTY of time, or suffer the unwelcome ...

Amazing transformation of an iconic terminal into a hotel - super well thought out. And the best hotel gym on the planet bar none! Staffing levels & professionalism could be improved & too many non-hotel guests flopped out around the property (proximity to JetBlue terminal prob does not help here), which could be a safety issue. Rooms are clean & well maintained.
