The property was very nice and clean overall, very quiet and safe. The people that work there are very friendly and kind! The only thing that they can improve on is the patio outside where the BBQ are at is pretty dirty. Like the bbq are very dusty. Lot of dirt around the BBQ! They should keep that area constantly clean. But overall very happy with my stay. Would definitely go back to that hotel!

It was very clean, high ceilings, fully stocked kitchen- our room was very pleasant. The pool was heated and the workout room was clean and well equipped. Staff helped confirm the breakfast was peanut safe for my daughter with a severe allergy. I will definitely be back!

I got to the hotel and was given my room information and then told that parking would be extra? My room had hair and just didn’t smell clean. I bought cleaner to wipe things down. We live in a time where new disease processes are popping up and hotels can spread that if they are not careful. Keep the rooms clean shouldn’t be a special request it should be a standard.

Room was adequate. Unfortunately things were poorly stocked. Had to ask for bedding, soaps, toilet paper and the bottles for shampoo and conditioner were empty. The room was not very clean, we found many left items under the beds and old food next to the refrigerator. The light switches were all on motion sensors as well along with majority of the plug ins so it was difficult to get everything charged. For the price we paid, I hoped for a bit more. Thankfully we weren’t in the room much. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

The run was clean. There were no instructing on internet nor a pad of paper or pen. No information on the atea etc. Room was clean but hallways had stains (puke??)... numerous... did not appear the common areas were cleaned/ cared for like the rooms.

The room itself was fine. The hallways were filthy the carpet needed to be replaced. When my wife and I arrived there was a pile of dirty towels in the hall and when we left they were still there. And breakfast ended at 9:00 with no notice.

The hotel and staff were wonderful, pool comfortable, and amenities and breakfast were fine. The challenge was the highway noise. I was on the ground floor facing the highway and it was so loud all night long that even my white noise app couldn't drown out the freeway noise.

Stayed here for SacAnime over Labor Day weekend. Rooms are spacious and nice with a modern design. A/C works like a dream in 100+ degree heat. The only real issue I had was with parking. Lots of people in full size SUV's, Lifted pickups, full size trucks, etc. parking in spots designed and reserved for compact vehicles. Had to park on street several nights and was still getting charged $12/day for parking I couldn't use.

It’s was a very spacious and modern room. Our bathroom door was broken. Towels were hard to find. Tv was rotating, this helped a lot for both sides of the room. Sofa bed had a terrible mattress that was impossible to sleep in. It was amazing at first, but then we noticed the problems that were mainly in our room.

This is our second stay here, but not because we loved it, just because it's the closest to my daughter's college apartment. They badly need to renovate the carpet. We stayed on a different floor the first time we stayed and this second time, but the carpet in the rooms are worn out on the edges and needs to be replaced or repaired. The shower doors won't close properly and keeps sliding open while showering ( this happened on the 2 different rooms we stayed at), We had to put face towel as a stopper to prevent the shower doors from sliding open. What I hated the most in this hotel are the power plugs in the room which are motion sensor, meaning they turn off every 30 minutes. My wife and I both use CPAP and we kept waking up because our CPAP kept shutting down. We didn't notice the sticker that said the outlets are motion sensor powered. Whoever thought of doing this didn't think well enough. Also, the housekeeping service is terrible. The first time, they didn't clean our room. The second time, they just replaced our towels and didn't clean our room, and despite us notifying them that we are out of the liquid shower soap, they didn't refill it. This hotel has a nice location, but needs a lot renovation, maintenance, and improve housekeeping service.

Just a basic hotel. Relatively clean and comfortable enough. Windows were very small so the room felt somewhat claustrophobic and if you want your room to be cleaned, you must request it in advance (I wasn’t informed of this policy upon checking in, so I got a lecture and some clean towels.)

Good room/closet space, comfy bed, nice desk & TV, parking is $12/night, good breakfast but I was there for 7 days and the microwave was not usable because internal bracketing was burning and giving off potentially toxic smoke immediately upon use.

Everything was extremely clean and the room had a good selection of amenities. I had a room on the back of the building, not facing I-80, and I didn't notice the noise complaints that others have had - even though the hotel seemed very full. Plus it may have been the best shower water pressure I've ever seen in a hotel! I would stay again when in the area.

The facility itself was nice and the staff was great. The only issue is we had trouble sleeping because our room faces the freeway and the freeway is right in front of the frontage road that the hotel was on. We had a corner room so we had 180 degree exposure to the freeway noise. We bought a fan for the second night so hopefully we can get some sleep.

Clean and spacious room, easy parking options comfortable beds. Centrally located to everything around Davis and was a 6 minute drive to campus. They have bike rentals that you can rent to go around town. Highly recommended this place if youre moving in your kid to UC Davis and have the whole family with you!

I've stayed here before and found it pleasant. Not this time. No staff to clean except for a few who couldn't speak English. I had to go to the front desk and ask for a roll of toilet paper! Housekeeper couldn't even take care of that. You have to ask for cleaning 24 hours in advance. Our toilet clogged and despite asking for assistance, no one came. Thankfully it resolved itself. When I complained, the front desk offered to let us change rooms. I told him no, and if it overflowed, well that would be on them. Front desk hung up on me. Breakfast was blah. Won't be staying here again. I wish i had gotten the names of the few staff who were helpful because there were a few. Glad we're leaving tomorrow.

check in was great. Ray was great. Checkout was great. Room was mostly good. Kitchenette dishes were questionable and we had to wash by hand just to be sure. Breakfast service lady was quite grumpy for some reason. I said good morning and no response. All throughout the food area were passive aggressive signs. Maybe someone offended her?

This hotel is about a 5min drive to downtown Davis. It is next to the highway (so go with earbuds, light sleepers). The property was convenient. I like that they have car chargers. The noise insulation from the hallway was not great, but it was just voices of people walking by. My room was not on the highway side, so I don't know what the noise there would be like, but I did not experience freeway noise.

Great little hotel. Very clean and modern. Staff was nice and helpful. Not walkable to campus or downtown which is what I would have preferred but not a big deal either. Area is nice and quiet, despite being next to the highway. Overall, a great stay.

Really a quiet area aside from the freeway which for me wasn't really an issue... not likely walkable to dining and shopping but a close drive to these things. I liked the property and will most certainly return. The Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Clean and spacious room, easy parking options comfortable beds. Centrally located to everything around Davis and was a 6 minute drive to campus. They have bike rentals that you can rent to go around town. Highly recommended this place if youre moving in your kid to UC Davis and have the whole family with you!

Hyatt House Davis was very comfortable and clean, but the breakfast staff was very rude. We arrived to breakfast on Saturday admittedly five minutes before it ended and the staff member turned the light out as we were grabbing breakfast. We arrived one hour early on Sunday, and there was no food left. The oatmeal bowl was gone and the potatoes, eggs, and sausage were empty. There was one bagel left, but was very old and stale. I asked if oatmeal would be replenished and she she snapped at me and said that it was gone for the day. We probably would not have cared if the staff would have been slightly kind.

Check in was great and fast, the suites were nice however the tile flooring in shower should be updated as one tile was a little sharp on my foot, a little scratch. Breakfast is always great however no yogurt in machine. This property always has kind helpful employees. Beds are super comfy.

I was unaware I needed to request my room be cleaned. I returned after a long day of attending a funeral and the bed was unmade- towels on the floor where I placed them in the morning- when I spoke with the staff at check in they asked in a surprised tone, “oh , you wanted your room cleaned?” It was taken care of the next day. My husband suggested we get a hamburger at the counter in the lobby as we had read a small bar menu was available, but we were informed they only had soup and hash browns. It would have been nice to have known that before hand. The included breakfast was extremely modest- no fruit of any kind.

Everything was great! Wish the breakfast was better though. Not a lot of options and things weren’t refilled often. It was also a little hard to fall asleep with the noise from the freeway. Room was not cleaned. Coffee stains on the countertops, wet towels , make up stains in the bathroom countertops. Went up to the counter and had them bring up clean sheets and towels. I changed the sheets myself and the towels too. Also there was a bug on the “clean sheets” that were brought in I had to make sure it wasn’t a bed bug before using them. Crazy that I have to do all that on a supposedly clean room.
