This was the smallest hotel room I've ever seen. There is really no parking. Be prepared to have to park somewhere on the street - if you can find a spot. It was cheap, which is a plus. I only needed the room for about six hours while I slept before an early morning flight.

Tiny, tiny, tiny room. The navigation button on the TV remote did not work properly so choices were limited to whatever came up first. The parking lot was equally small. Don't stay here.

It's actually a good place to sleep only. Since the hotel is located across the street, loud noises can sometimes be heard in the room. There are no waiting areas in the lobby, nor is there an area for eating. I had to leave a $100 deposit, and they didn't give me any documentation to prove it. If you want late check-out, it's an additional $30 per hour. In my case, my airline canceled my stay, and if I didn't pay the late check-out fee, I'd be stuck on the street because there was nowhere to sit.

Room was very clean. Parking is very limited, maybe 4-5 spots for the whole hotel. The rooms are very small, bed is a low platform so if you have any limitations or restrictions don't book. Area is okay, right around food spots and public transportation.

Room narrow basically just for a bed. But decent for the price. Location is good. 10 min walk to Main Street. No lobby but only a check-in desk. Looks like a family managed business. Room service not available after 5 pm, but the desk is staffed 24 hours. I was asked for $100 deposit at check-in. If you pay in cash, you get cash back immediately at checkout.That's what I did. Told the refund will take time if you use credit card to pay the deposit.

Convenient location for Governor’s Ball, less than a 15min drive from Flushing Meadows Corona Park. About a 20min walk to Flushing’s Chinatown which had amazing food! Check in/check out was quick and easy. Parking on the property was extremely convenient, however there’s only about 4 parking spaces in the uncovered lot. Free ice and water in the small lobby. Very small rooms but the property was clean and comfortable for our stay!

Staff was super nice, room was decent for 1 night only. Needs cleaning, soiled carpet, etc. I was at the Open, arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm and left at 8:30 the next morning. Any longer and I wouldn't have stayed here

Having never stayed at a New York hotel before I guess the old cliche is true- You get what you pay for. The price was too good to pass up. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is the size of the room. Honestly, I didn’t think the door would open when I walked in. The bed was less that 12 inches from door.

Too small, room was prob 8x10 at best. No where to put anything - no dresser, no desk, no chair, so good luck. Had to watch TV on my phone. No way could this room fit TWO people! I felt very unsafe - no real hard lock on the door just a chain.

Place isnt bad but insanely expensive for the price. Tiny rooms paper thin walls. No iron in room, no lotion or other small toiletries , no drinking water bottles or coffee.

The room was clean but very small. The queen size bed took the entire room with no place to comfortably walk around. No room for a small fridge or microwave. The hotel is in a crowded area and there was construction everywhere. So if you have a problem with noise, then this hotel is not for you. The staff was friendly.

Size of the room is just larger than the queen size bed (which was very comfortable). The TV did not work and was tiny. The bathroom was quite comfortable and clean and had good towels. Very convenient to the airport and reasonably priced for NY

Clean space and well maintained. But they do not clean the room or change sheets everyday. We stayed for four days and they didn’t clean or change anything during the course of our stay. The service staff is not available after 5:30. A decent one for the price.

When I checked in the guy at front desk was very rude and raised his voice in anger whenever i had any questions about my stay or reservation. He also walked away mid check in and left me waiting for 10 minutes before coming back and looking at me like my presence was bothering him. Horrible service

Room was clean, just needed a bed and shower for the weekend so for the most part it was okay but the check in was annoying, the clerk was on the phone and prioritized the person on the phone, something unrelated to his work and would tap on the counter at signs and whatnot I can read about the hotel, then after five minutes of waiting I finally checked in.

It was a small but cozy room, very suitable for my trip since I spent all day in NY and only needed a place to rest at night. There is a bus station right in front of the hotel, which you can take to Main Street and get the train, so it is very easy for transport.

This was a great place to stay for my trip back to my hometown of Flushing. It's a short walk to Main Street where you can catch the 7 train, and if you prefer to take a bus there's a stop right outside on the corner. There's a shopping center two blocks away with places to eat and buy groceries. I stayed for 4 nights and was very comfortable. The staff is friendly, the room was clean. I'm definitely staying here again on my next visit.

What a rip off. Worst condition hotel facility I’ve ever experienced. To top it off, at 6am began a continuous symphony of commercial airplanes taking off and flying directly over the hotel every four or five minutes. Paid nearly $300 to sleep for one night. Terrible experience. Never again

Room narrow basically just for a bed. But decent for the price. Location is good. 10 min walk to Main Street. No lobby but only a check-in desk. Looks like a family managed business. Room service not available after 5 pm, but the desk is staffed 24 hours. I was asked for $100 deposit at check-in. If you pay in cash, you get cash back immediately at checkout.That's what I did. Told the refund will take time if you use credit card to pay the deposit.

The rooms was very small , i don’t think that I am coming back to this hotel. The staff wasn’t friendly or helpful at all ,, the bed was comfortable , the best thing about this hotel very close to a bus stop and restaurant and stores in walking distance from the hotel , no free breakfast and then is a free parking , but it’s a very tiny parking lot , it’s didn’t have a parking space,

We booked a hotel at John Hotel, only to discover upon getting there that you (Hotels.com) switched our hotel to Flushing Garden, which was in the ghetto and clearly showed it. I paid for parking and breakfast included, to which none were provided. This caused unnecessary stress and frankly pissed my partner and I off. I will not be recommending Hotels.com to anybody or this hotel in particular. Terrible choice of a hotel change, and not sure how legal it is to change somebody’s booking the day of. $134 a night is worth parking and breakfast, not whatever this was. Thank you for the wonderful stay with the homeless people sitting outside digging through the hotels trash and the rats that seem to frequently vacation there.

This is probably a 1.5 star hotel of last resort. No amenities and parking is very limited. Room was small and clean but needs maintenance. Wall paper was peeling off. The internal lock latch was broken and the refrigerator was not working.
