Stayed 4 nights

Basic clean accommodation. The reviews said it was one of the best which says a lot about how bad the other places in town must be. Our room had a double bed, not a queen. It was really too small for two people. Breakfast was basic but very good. We had reserved 4 nights but had to leave early because it was hard to sleep given the bed and the altitude. We asked but they did not refund the unused days. The town of Huaraz is dirty, polluted and kind of a dump. It has none of the charm like Cusco or Ollantaytambo. This was in contrast to the spectacular scenery of the Cordillera Blanca. We would not return.

Stayed 3 nights

The rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. However, it took a long time for the hot water to arrive in the shower. The location of the hotel is very central, walking distance to the main plaza. I also felt very safe. They had 24-hour staff support. The breakfast had both warm and cold food options.
