Super fint nyåbnet hotel. Der er fin tag terrasse og gratis kaffe/te. Fint værelse, dejlige puder og dyner. Super god morgenmadsbuffet. Hotellet ligger meget centralt, men desværre også i et lidt skidt kvarter med hjemløse, narkomaner og psykisk syge i gaderne tæt på.

Getting to the hotel is VERY unsafe, and incredibly uncomfortable. Having travelled frequently, we have never experienced anything like the 5 minute journey from the station to the hotel, which whilst I know is not in the control of the hotel, is something I think people should be aware of. The hotel itself, not a welcome reception, staff unfriendly and seem generally put out by having to deal with anyone. Room was ok, clean and tidy. Absolutely not sound proof, could hear EVERYTHING from neighbouring rooms. Room next to us played music all night and you could sing along from our room it was so clear. The rooftop bar was a selling point for us staying here… which when we went to visit, closed. Asked at reception who didn’t seem to care at all and just stated ‘yeah it’s not open because we don’t have staff’. So that meant no food or drinks for our stay because we weren’t going to venture out past nightfall into the neighbourhood. The room guest info has info about the convenient food and drinks and even offers free drinks vouchers for not having your room serviced during your stay.. completely pointless as NOTHING is available. By the time we visited this hotel we had been travelling for over a week and staying in various hotels, this was our final night before our journey home and was the low point of our trip. Would not stay again nor recommend.

Great choice for our needs. This is very close to the train station. While we paid for parking, we likely would have been able to just park on the street, however, I felt safer having the car in a gated area. If you choose to use the paid parking, make sure you get the instructions from front desk! It took us 10 min to find out how to open the gate from the inside. The room itself was nice, but I would have preferred a little more shelf space in the bathroom, as well as more towel drying racks.

Very nice new hotel. Staff very friendly. Absolutely the best free breakfast buffet we have had at a hotel. Close to trains and local transportation. The neighborhood is not very good. Homeless and drug dealers at meny corners, The police walking the area most of the time. We would not go out after dark. Recommend opening up 7th floor bar for guests.

Rooms were great and I would come back again. Would be nice if the roof top breakfast area transitioned into a place to have a drink at the end of the day - but I'm sure they are worried who might wander in off the street.

The rooms and building interior were clean and well maintained. The buffet style breakfast was good at 18.5 euros. The downsides in the room were no flat surface with a chair to use for reading or laptop use, no kettle or cups to use for coffee or tea, to put toiletries there was a 3 centimeter strip around the bathroom sink just wide enough for a razor, not even Kleenex tissues. Of course no fridge. Stepping outside you land in one of the worst drug use areas in Germany. People actively using at all times of the day and filthy streets. I checked what time their bar opened as going out after dark seemed unsafe. I was told “we have a bar but no bartenders “

Wirklich sehr viele Haare in dem Bett, also anscheinend nicht gewechselt worden. Leider konplettes No-Go und ekelhaft Spuren an und um die Toilette vom Vorgänger. Aber dermaßen viele Haare (?!) Ich spreche hier von bestimmt an die 20 kurze Haarreste. Gerade aber auch die Problematik, dass die Toilette nicht ordentlich gesäubert wird ist jetzt schon das 2x mal der Fall im Nio! Leider auch die Rezeption war in diesem Fall gegen Nachmittag nicht freundlich. Ich hatte schon bereits vorher eingecheckt bei einer Kollegin und wollte nur noch meine Karte haben. Es war ein Vorgang von 20 Sekunden und hätte mich nicht in der Schlange von 5 Leuten jemand vor gelassen hätte ich ewig gewartet. Die Dame an der Rezeption hatte mich einfach ignoriert! Was soll das? On Top war noch der Vegane Aufstrich beim Frühstück schlecht. Er war nicht abgelaufen aber anscheinend nicht richtig gelagert worden. Also sehr viele Sachen die zusammengekommen sind. Beim Check Out war niemand an der Rezeption somit konnte das Feedback auch von nicht weitergegeben werden. Letzes Mal im Nio gewesen :(

We stayed here for just one night before catching the flight back home. The hotel is in walking distance from the train station and there are many food shops nearby. It is in great condition with nice simple decor. Our room is good size and everything is extremely clean. The staff is nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here.

If you’re not moving by car, keep in mind it’s a dodgy area (specially at night). Better to move by car or taxi, or book a different hotel altogether. Parking costs 20€ per night, but you won’t find many basic amenities inside the room. It’s alright for a one night/short stay.

Great facilities and amenities. The only issues were my TV didn't operate all the time and the beds were basically two single beds put together which wasn't great sleep on and I booked for a queen sized bed. Overall it was okay.

Das sog. Queenbett ist eine Katastrophe. Matratzen sind okay, aber die Ritze ist unterirdisch. Man verschwindet beim "Hinüberkrabbeln" geradezu. Queenbett bedeutet nicht zweit zusammengestellte Einzelbetten. Der Begriff ist absolut irreführend

In general the hotel was nice, the room was a bit small, no closet and no space for 2 overseas travelers to even open the shuitcases, there was also no desk to work on computer, bathroom nice, no room asmmenties, no coffee machine etc.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Fenster zur Straßenseite. Am Wochenende scheinen Partys oder Clubs in der Nähe zu sein. Von 22 Uhr bis morgens 06:00 Uhr war durch die geschlossenen Fenstern Musik und ein deutliches Wummern (Bass) zu hören. Es fällt sehr schwer Schlaf zu finden. Kann ich so nicht weiterempfehlen.

Fint nyrenoveret hotel men forfærdelig beliggend. Midt i by kaos med junkier, stofmisbrugere og glasskår og kanyler lige ude på fortovet. Vi kunne ikke gå der med vores hunde og syntes det var utrygt miljø at være i så vi blev inde. Personale var søde til at lade os lufte vores hunde i deres atriumgård. Mangler køleskab på værelset.

Hotel is prima. Kamers klein maar alles is aanwezig. Jammer van de junks en dealers in de straat. Zorgt voor een onveilig gevoel. Maar het is aan de lokale overheid om daar iets aan te doen. Hotel is goed bereikbaar en dichtbij het centraal station

Modern clean hotel. Room and bathroom are good size. Bed was comfortable and good air conditioning. Cons. No bar fridge in room and not in best location. I suggest taking train, tram or taxi to old town and river.

The rooms and building interior were clean and well maintained. The buffet style breakfast was good at 18.5 euros. The downsides in the room were no flat surface with a chair to use for reading or laptop use, no kettle or cups to use for coffee or tea, to put toiletries there was a 3 centimeter strip around the bathroom sink just wide enough for a razor, not even Kleenex tissues. Of course no fridge. Stepping outside you land in one of the worst drug use areas in Germany. People actively using at all times of the day and filthy streets. I checked what time their bar opened as going out after dark seemed unsafe. I was told “we have a bar but no bartenders “

A hotel that absolutely does not care about customer relations. We sent an email about an issue before the stay, and they never responded. I would never stay at a place like this again. If you want to satisfy your guests, start by valuing customer relations.

Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen Mitarbeiter sowohl an der Rezeption als auch beim Frühstück! Die Lage ist zentral und nah zum Bahnhof - das Bahnhofsviertel ist halt was es ist, da kann das Hotel nichts für :)

As we were expecting to arrive at the hotel around 0530 we decided to reserve a room from the previous day to guarantee a room on our arrival as we had been travelling overnight. We informed the hotel of this at the time of booking and I sent a reminder via Hotels.com a few days prior to our check in. On arrival the receptionist said they did not have our reservation and could not check us in. I showed him our Hotels.com confirmation number which included that our reservation had been paid in full. After some debate the receptionist finally agreed to create a new reservation to allow us to check in. On our last morning we had no hot water however I think that this likely to be an isolated incident. The room was on the small side however was comfortable. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station although the area around the hotel is not the best so just be aware of your surroundings.

Das Personal an der Rezeption grüßt den Gast beim Betreten des Hotels grundsätzlich nicht. Das ist ausgesprochen unhöflich und ein Gruß kann erwartet werden. Abgesehen davon ist das Personal in allen Belangen "schwer von Begriff". Es scheint sich um "ungelerntes Hilfspersonal" zu handeln. Unter den Betten wurde jegliche Reinigung unterlassen. Es fanden sich dort Papierknäuel und anderer Unrat. Für die Umgebung, in der es von Drogenabhängigen und Alkoholikern wimmelt, kann das Hotel nichts. Jeder Weg dorthin war jedoch ein ungeliebtes Abenteuer zwischen Heroinnadeln, Bierflaschen und bestialischem Uringestank. Die Polizei kann sich hier leider nicht durchsetzen und führt nur Gespräche mit den Obdachlosen, ohne jedoch damit nachhaltig eine Veränderung zu bewirken. Es ist eine Schande, dass in einem derart reichen Land wie Deutschland ein solcher "Schandfleck" in einer großen Stadt zugelassen wird. Den (kranken) Menschen könnte bei gutem Willen der politisch Verantwortlichen nachhaltig geholfen werden. Das Positive zum Schluss: Ruhige Zimmer, ein elektrisch einstellbares Insektengitter, ein sauberes und großes Badezimmer. Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Convenient to be close to the train station, though, for the same reason there were some streets close by that felt somewhat unsafe. Hotel itself was safe though.

Sehr freundliches Hotelpersonal, saubere Zimmer mit optimaler Ausstattung. Die Lage vom Hotel ist top, viele Attraktionen sind fußläufig Erreichbar. Hinsichtlich der Lage, sind viele Suchtmittelabhängige Menschen in direkter Hotelumgebung, dafür kann das Hotel an sich nicht. Die Menschen machen nichts, jedoch war ich trotzdem ein wenig eingeschüchtert beim vorbei gehen. Ansonsten ist das Niu echt zu empfehlen.

Hotel stay was excellent and staff are friendly. Walking distance to central train station and nearby attractions. Just need to be careful at night, don't wander alone at night from 10pm to 6am as its near the red light district and nearby smokers of all kinds.

Das niu liegt sehr nahe zum Bahnhof und dennoch hört man vom Zimmer aus nichts. Es ist auch sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war erste Klasse mit einer großen Auswahl. und obwohl sie sehr nachhaltig seien wollen, gibt es immer noch dinge beim Frügstück die man ändern kann (mini butter, mini frischkäse, einzeln verpackter zucker etc). beim check in wäre es super wenn man direkt gesagt bekommt um wie viel uhr frühstück ist.

The hotel it self is nice and comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was really good with gluten free options and a great variety of food for all preferences.. The area looks dangerous but it really wasn’t. Lots of junkies outside but the police keeps then on check. If you are traveling for business I will recommend it since is conveniently located near public transportation. If you are traveling with kids I do not recommend you stay here simply because of the drug addicts that gather in the area! I don’t think it’s a good sight for children. I am a female ( Honduran) and I did not feel in danger but my husband who is American felt uncomfortable because of all the junkies around. I guess it depends of what you consider “threatening”. It is really a shame to be honest because the Hotel it self is nice and the employees really try their best to make your stay comfortable

In short: stay away from this hotel. Staff seemed bored and disengaged. Breakfast was full of wasps, and food was all over the floor. Staff didnt clean it but pushed it away with their feet. A very loud African family were smacking the doors at 2-4 am waking up everyone. Staff didnt do anything about it. It was uncomfortable as they were clearly on substances and very, very loud. Rooms were very small with no fridge. Hotel body wash and shampoo gave me itches, and screen sharing on TV didnt work. Key cards didnt work either and had to be replaced. View from room was straight into the other rooms where people were shouting across to each other. Area where hotel is located is full of homeless people and junkies.

The rooms are well maintained, sparklingly clean. But the location is just ok-ok. The neighborhood is not so nice. Buffet breakfast is very expensive at 16.50€ and no toiletries were provided. They charged me 1:50€ for a tooth paste, that too a sample sachet and a brush made of plastic, so the hotel is definitely not interested in being nice to environment by avoiding toiletries, rather making some more money here. AC worked well. There is no phone in the room to talk to the reception and no room service too.

Gutes Mittelklassehotel in einer grottenschlechten Umgebung. Das Bahnhofsviertel in Frankfurt ist leider inzwischen eine volle Katastrophe. Leider liegt das Hotel mitten drin. Man wird fix auf "hey man, want some wheed?" angesprochenen. Das Hotel selbst ist NIU-Standard und damit voll ok. Gutes Frühstück, saubere Zimmer, freundlicher Service. Für die Location leider viel zu gut.

Fint og ryddig hotell, god seng. Manglet riktignok et bord som man kunne ha PC’n på. Stod over en dyr og ikke imponerende frokost til EUR 18.- Dessverre trekker området rundt hotellet ned.

The hotel is wonderful. New, modern, nice. The breakfast was really good. They have a pancake maker and a coffee machine that makes various kinds of coffee with good taste. The bed was comfortable and nice. The hotel is close to the main train station and convenient for that reason. The area around the hotel is not so nice. It is dirty and full of drug addicts and drunks. There are a lot of people doing drugs and using needles on the sidewalks near the hotel.

Sehr schöne Zimmer zu sehr fairem Preis. Nette Begrüssung und insgesamt nettes Personal. Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof war praktisch, aber leider durch das entsprechende Klientel bedenklich. Wir fühlten uns nicht wirklich sicher. Frühstück nachbuchen war kein Problem und für meinen Sohn sogar kostenlos. Das Frühstück war übrigens sehr gut! Andere Gäste waren in der Nacht sehr laut mit bebendem Türe zuknallen und lautem Gerede, das mich geweckt hat.

Hotel bem bonitinho, colorido e agradável. Cama e chuveiro ótimo, café da manhã com variedade e gostoso! Equipe disposta a ajudar! Extremamente bem localizado, para transporte público, porém fica em uma região central nada bonita. Mesmo assim me senti segura, mas não é muito bom voltar tarde ( a partir de 21h) para o hotel.
