Extremely disappointing experience. We informed the hotel in advance that our flight was delayed and that we would arrive late. When we finally arrived, we were told there was no room available and had to wait 2–3 hours before being given a two-bedroom suite as an upgrade. The staff assured us that we could stay in that room for the remaining six nights. However, the very next day, we were told that the upgraded room was more expensive and that we had to move to the room type we originally booked. Despite explaining the situation, the hotel refused to honor what their staff had promised, and we had no choice but to move. At checkout, we were told that a security deposit would be temporarily charged and refunded within 2–3 days. Instead, our credit card was charged an additional US$288.46. This was completely unexpected and extremely frustrating. The inconsistent communication, having to move rooms after a promise was made, and the unexpected additional charge made this an unpleasant and disappointing stay. The room had a nice feature of 3 spaces with sliding doors (although gaps so no noise insulation). Good for our party of parents and 2 teens. No sink with toilet but used shower on low to wash hands
